Hello everyone,

How are you all doing?

For my next story, I have decided to write a werewolf story. I have already written the drafts of the first chapters but before re-editing them, I thought it'd be better to post small passages.

I will just drop them below:

Passage 01:

"Did he find his mate?" The man asked.

"No," the woman answered. "And he won't."

"We need to be careful though. We can't blow our cover." The man pulled a chair and sat behind the table. "We are close to achieving what we started years ago."

"This is the last pack. It's his last chance to find her." The woman smirked.

"Keep a close eye on him," the man added.

"Don't worry, even if he finds her, I will make sure he loses her in a blink of an eye."

The woman and the man shared a heinous look. The hidden meaning behind the woman's words lay heavily in the air; however, it served as nothing but a constant reminder of the extreme lengths they were both ready to go to achieve their common goal, for which they have already dedicated time and sweat and they were willing to devote even blood.

"I am glad we are on the same page." The man grinned maliciously.

"There is no going back." The woman leveled the man's grin with her scowl.

"There is no going back." The man repeated their mantra.

Passage 02:

Inhale. Exhale. Vanilla. Mouthwatering Vanilla.

The unmistakable smell of Vanilla filled my nostrils as soon as I entered the house. The scent was so enticing that I had to refrain from closing my eyes to enjoy it —it reminded me of freshly-baked cupcakes.

"Our mate's scent," my wolf, Alarick said.

Everything stilled at that moment. I could only focus on the intoxicating smell. Alarick kept pounding in my head, urging me to look for her. He was on edge, ready to be released but I couldn't let him take control just yet.

We were surrounded by so many people but neither of them was my mate. Her scent was so faint that I could have bypassed it if it were not my mate's. Even Alarick wouldn't be able to follow her scent; it was too distant, which meant that she was long gone. Nevertheless, I was happy to finally have a hint that she was not dead.

"We finally have a lead. We have finally found her," I told Alarick.

*******

I don't want to add more details or else I will be spoiling but trust me, you will absolutely LOVE the story.

It combines passion, love, mystery, suspense, possessiveness (werewolves are so possessive) and of course ROMANCE.

Let me know if you are willing to read it.

PS: I still haven't chosen the story's title, so if you have any suggestions, you can leave them in the comments' section or send me a message.

Stay tuned.
