After dinner, mom and dad kept Arrow so I could show Ayla how the house is coming along.

We rode the side by side up to the house and when we pulled up I looked over at Ayla and she was smiling and had a gleam in her eyes.

When we made it back to the main house and walked in dad held his finger up to his lip. "Shh, he's asleep."

We got Arrow home and I changed his diaper and put on his pajamas and put him in his crib and walked to the bedroom.

"He's still out. Are you going to try and feed him, Ayla?"

"Yeah, otherwise he will wake us up screaming in a little while. I will be back."

I watched her walk out of the room and I changed for bed and cut the tv on while I waited.

I heard her singing to him so he must have woke up but it wasn't long until she walked in smiling.

Uncle Austin and Emerson were already there moving wood. "Morning guys!" Emerson said.

"We get it even though we don't have any kids," Austin said.

I feel bad for Uncle Austin and Aunt Rosa they tried and tried and never could have a baby.

"I'm sorry Uncle Austin. Any news on the adoption front?" I asked.

"We are still working on it. Hopefully, we will hear something soon." He smiled.

"I hope it all works out for you. You would be a great dad. I know how great of an Uncle you are. Who else would get up before the ass crack of dawn to work on their Nephews house." I said.
