After we'd all received our diplomas, we left the hall for pictures.
After enough pictures with family and friends, we were permitted to go keep our robes so we could come celebrate with drinks and food.

"Is my make up still okay?" I asked as Yazz my mother and I entered my apartment. I'd come to keep my robe.

"Yeah but powder your face a little." Yazz said.

"Okay." I got the powder and stood in front of the mirror.

"I sent your pics to Lucas. The ones when you were taking your diploma."

"Oh, okay. Thanks."

I was done soon enough and we left to go feast and celebrate with the others.

I was chatting and laughing with some of my classmates as we drank champagne. The ceremony was a very chic one. I couldn't help but smile a little with everyone.

"Harl, come here." Yazz called and I went over to her, "Pose so I take a picture of you and post."

"Alright. Send it Lucas too. And Ricky."

"Did Ricky call you today?" she asked.

"Nope. The timezone is different from ours. He's probably sleeping right now. I don't really know."

"Oh, right. Okay pose."

I stood in my simple yet nice dress and jewelry for Yazz to click my picture. Once she did, I went over to look at the picture. It was a nice one.

We ate and drank to our satisfaction. I had a great time!

At around six pm that same day, the first ceremony was over. Now we had to prepare for the second one which would be a late night party for only the students.

"Wow, I'm really tired. Drank too much champagne." I told Yazz when we returned to the apartment. We met my mom sleeping. She'd long left the ceremony because she was too tired.

"So at what time is that second party beginning? I gotta be ready!" Yazz laughed.

"At nine tonight."

"Oh, we still got time."

"Yeah and that's why I'm gonna take advantage of that time and sleep a little." I replied, taking my dress off.

"Good idea. I'll stay up to wake you when the time's come to get ready."

"Okey. Thanks, hon."

I went into my room where I collapsed on the bed as tired as ever.
I was about to sleep when I received a call from Rick. I quickly replied.

"Hello, Ricky!"

"Hello sweety. Ooh from the sound of your voice, you officially have your diploma. Am I right??"

"Yes, you are."

"That's wonderful. Sorry I couldn't call earlier. Just got up from sleep and struggling to prepare for work. I'm really happy for you."

"Thanks, Ricky."

"Hope Lucas is there to support you for me."

"No, he didn't make it. And he won't still make it for the ceremony coming up in a week's time."

"Really? That surprises me. Expected him to do every possible thing to be there for you."

"Why?" I chuckled.

"Because you are close and he seems to still have feelings for you. We have a chat groom for the sigmas and he's always having a pic of you as his profile pic. I also noticed it way back since Greenwill."

Rick's answer surprised me.

"Oh wow..."

"Don't worry, Harl. t won't bother me if you happen to date him some day. He's a nice guy. Odd at times but nice." he chuckled and I joined him.

"Okay. I miss you, Rick."

"Miss you too, dear. Celebrate like you've never done before and have a good time. Gotta prepare for work."

"Alright. Thanks for calling. Byeee."

"Bye."

I hung up with a smile on my face. Recently, I'd been surrounded with the best kind of people in my life and it made me smile.

"Get up girl! It's 8:30. Gotta get ready." Yazz woke me up that night. I yawned and got off the bed. I'd succeeded in having a good sleep.

"Time to shower and get ready." I murmured to my tired self. The day wasn't over yet and so was the celebration.

At 10, though late, Yazz and I were ready. Sexily dressed and ready to dance all night.

"Hand me my hair dye spray, please." I told Yazz.

She gave it to me and I sprayed some parts of my curls gold.

"Let's go."

The party was organised in one of the campus's biggest halls. There was loud music, club light, drinks and happy students ready to party till dawn.

Yazz and I wasted no time! We immediately joined the crowd and started dancing.
