*ALEXIS' POV*
"Grandma! Uncle Trevor! I missed you guys so much!"

Aniyah ran into my mom's house, jumping on my mother and brother, hugging them both tightly.

Today is Christmas Eve. We're staying in Texas until the beginning of next week.

"Aw, look at grandma's baby! You're getting so big on me! Quit growing on me so fast, Niy Niy."

My mom smiled as she kissed Aniyah all over her cheeks. Trevor then snatched Aniyah from my mom, hugging her the tightest he could.

"Uncle's baby! You are my favorite niece in the world, you know that?"

"I'm your ONLY niece, uncle Trev!"

"You are absolutely right. BUT, if mommy ever has more kids, you'll still be my favorite."

Trevor chuckled, twirling Aniyah around, which made her giggle loudly.

"How have you been, Lex? You've still been super busy with working, huh?"

My mom questioned as she hugged me. I smiled and hugged back.

"Unfortunately, yes. But, money is money. I'm not complaining."

"You need a REAL job though, Lex. You can't.. you know, all your life."

My mom looked at me seriously.

My mom and Trevor have always been against me stripping as my job.

And trust me, I understand. But, stripping is one of the easiest ways to get fast money without it being illegal.

"Baby, can you get grandma and uncle Trevor's presents and go put them under grandma's tree for tomorrow?"

"Sure, mommy."

Aniyah climbed out of Trevor's lap, going through a bag that we brought in the house, walking into the living room with the presents we brought for mom and Trevor.

"Mom's right though, sis. You eventually need to find a professional job that won't give you a.. reputation, you know?"

"I understand what you guys are saying, I do. Can we just not talk about this right now? Please? It's Christmas time, and Aniyah is around."

"Okay. JUST because my grand baby is around. But just know this conversation isn't over just yet."

What they also don't understand is if I had a baby father who actually provided for his kid, I WOULDN'T have to strip in order to provide for her on my own.

Before I could respond to my mom, there was a knock on the door. Trevor got off of the kitchen chair, going to the front door to open it, me following behind him.

It was a tall, brown skinned guy standing there with a plastic bowl of chocolate chip cookies.

"Aye, Trev! My mom wanted me to bring these over for the holidays. You know she does this every year."

"Hey, Armon. Tell your mom we said thanks, we appreciate it."

"Who's that behind you? I've never seen her around before."

The guy known as Armon looked at me, licking his lips.

Not gonna lie, he was kinda cute. And the way he was looking at me was making me blush.

"That's my little sister Alexis. Her and my niece Aniyah are visiting for the week for Christmas."

"Damn. She is.. BEYOND beautiful. You never told me you had a gorgeous ass sister."

Armon looked at Trevor, then fixed his eyes back on me. I then smiled at him.

"Thanks. It's nice to meet you, Armon."

"You too, Alexis. Something always told me that Trevor probably had a way better looking sibling."

Armon joked, causing me to laugh and blush even more. Trevor playfully rolled his eyes, taking the bowl of cookies from Armon and walking back into the kitchen with my mom and Aniyah.

"You seem pretty charming, huh?"

"I don't just seem, I AM very charming. Too bad I don't have a girlfriend."

"Why not?"

"No idea, honestly. Girls in Texas just ain't it. You have a boyfriend?"

"Not at all. Just a childish ass baby daddy. Guys in New York aren't really the best choice, either."

"I bet. Their accents are pretty cool though, I can admit."

Armon shrugged, causing me to giggle a slight bit.

"So, you're my mom's next door neighbor or something?"

"Yeah. I live with my mom and my brother Trey. Your mom is a very sweet lady. Since the time she's moved here, they've became like best friends."

"I'm glad your mom can be that for my mom. I've always said my mom needed more friends in her life."

"Well, it looks like she found a great one. Trevor is pretty cool, too. He hangs up with me and Trey a lot."

"Thanks for being so kind to my mom and Trev. It means a lot they have people out here who are good to them."

"No problem. I wish you lived out here so we can be good to you, too. More specifically, me."

Armon smirked and bit his lip. My eyes widened as I realized a small moan escaped my mouth from his flirtatiousness.

"Mommy! Come watch a movie with us! It's Home Alone!"

Aniyah shouted from inside of the house. I looked back at Armon.

"Sounds like that's my cue to get my ass in the house."

"Bet. I'm right next door if you wanna hang out any time this week before you leave. Beautiful daughter, by the way."

Armon smiled, walking away from my mom's house and back to his own.

Whoo, that was very intense..

"Are you done flirting with my next door neighbor, hun?"

Mom questioned in a joking manner, causing me to blush once again.

"Moooom! Stop! You TOTALLY seen that HE was the one flirting with ME."

"Yeah, yeah. Come sit down and watch the movie with us."

In the middle of watching the movie, my phone went off because I received a text message from an unknown number.

Unknown; it's Armon๐Ÿ˜ˆ Trevor might've texted me your number๐Ÿ‘€

I then looked at Trevor, giving him a side eye as he looked away with a smirk. I saved his number in my phone and began to text back.

Me; lol, someone has a massive crush on me and you just met me

Armon; guilty๐Ÿ˜ณ can you blame me tho? Have you seen yourself?

Me; hahaha. Trust me, I know I'm beautiful. Maybe you can come over here one day to chill with Trevor. I'll be here til early next week

Armon; aight, cool๐Ÿ˜‹
