*ALEXIS' POV*

"I really can't believe you guys are leaving tomorrow, already. The week went by so fast."

Trevor said as we were both in the living room. Aniyah and mom were still asleep upstairs.

"I know, I have to try to come and visit more often."

"I'm guessing that Jacob doesn't help out with Aniyah at all, huh?"

"No, not at all. Nothing has changed since you and mom left. It only got worse. Instead of worrying about his daughter and responsibilities, he rather fuck different bitches every month. I've just came to conclusions that no one can change him but him."

I shrugged, taking a sip of my orange juice. Trevor nodded.

"It's a damn shame. I actually liked Jacob before you got pregnant. Too bad he turned out like that. You don't have your eyes on no other guys? Specifically someone named Armon?"

Trevor teased. I chuckled, but shook my head.

"No. I mean, he's very cute and such a sweetheart. But it wouldn't work out. There's too much distance between us."

"Shit. If he brought me that gold ass chain dangling from your neck, I woulda made it work if I was you."

"There's also someone else I'm interested in. I'm not for sure yet, I have to get to know him more, and then I can be the judge of that."

"Who is he? Please don't tell me it's someone like Jacob."

"Oh, hell no! I already have one Jake to deal with, I'm not dealing with more than one. His name is Dave. Aniyah goes to school with his daughter. I didn't know until we met up by an accident, and he told me."

I explained to Trevor.

And I know I've only known of Dave for about two weeks now, but I feel like there could possibly be something in our future for us.

"Pretty interesting. What are you going to tell him though when he sees the gold chain?"

Before I could respond to Trevor's question, there was a knock at the door.

I got up to answer it, and there was Armon standing in front of me.

"Hey, Armon. What's up?"

"Nothing much. I know you're leaving tomorrow, so I was wondering if you wanted to hang out for a bit? Both you and Aniyah?"

"Aniyah is actually still sleep with my mom. But, I can come. Let me just get ready, and we can go."

I let Armon into the house, letting him sit down next to Trevor before I walked up stairs to get dressed.

After I got out of the shower, my phone was ringing.

I looked to see who it was. I thought it was Alyssa. But, no.

Incoming call...
Dave

The smile on my face grew, and I quickly answered the phone before it hung up.

"Dave! How have you been, boo? We haven't spoken much since I've been over here."

"I been great, ma. Just been really busy with Kairi and Kobi. What chu been up to over there?"

"Just spending time with my mom and brother. Aniyah loves it here. She hasn't seen them in a while, so she's living her best life."

"That's great, I'm happy yah are having a good time. When you come back tomorrow, we need to meet up. I have to talk to you about something. I ain't mad at you though. I just wanna get a better understanding."

I gulped, becoming nervous. What could it possibly be? Did I do something wrong?

"Yeah, of course. I'll see you tomorrow, though. You caught me right when I was getting ready to go out with my brother."

That lie just completely slipped out. I didn't want Dave knowing I was hanging around another guy, because then he might think I'm not interested in him.

"Aight, coo. Enjoy your last day over there, ma. I'm looking forward to seeing you tomorrow."

"You too, Dave."

I smiled like an idiot over the phone, then hanging up.

It took me fifteen minutes to get ready. I walked back downstairs to where Armon and Trevor were, Armon looking stunned.

"Wow. You really look beyond beautiful no matter what you wear."

"Thank you. You never look too bad yourself. Trev, take care of my baby and make sure she's good. Do NOT let her ride her bike until she's done eating her breakfast."

"Yeah, yeah. Uncle's are allowed to break the rules every now and then."

"Trev —"

"You too have fun. See ya when you get back, sis."

Trevor pushed us both out the door, shutting it quickly.

Armon laughed, then guiding me over to his house. He opened his garage, and what I seen was absolutely amazing.

My dream car.

A fucking Lamborghini!

"Holy shit! You own a Lambo?! My favorite car ever!"

"I sure do. I bossed up, got this baby myself. You can hop right in."

"I hate to ask this, but are you a drug dealer or something? Because where I'm from, anyone who has nice ass cars like this is doing something to get the money."

I got into the passenger side. Armon started to laugh as he got into the driver side, starting up the car.

"Hell nah. I ain't with that risky shit. It's different out here in Texas. A lot of people have nice things without being involved with illegal activity. I actually own my own business. I have a weight loss pill company."

A man that's actually being his own boss?

An actual entrepreneur? That ISN'T dealing drugs?

That's wild. I didn't think it could be such a possible thing.

"Wow. That's actually really great. Where I'm from, the only people you really see getting money is the drug dealers and the scammers."

"Yeah, I know. Trevor had told me some stories. It sounds crazy out there. Trey has his own skin care products. And evidently, it's been taking off. How much do you think I spent on your chain?"

"Hmm... two hundred dollars?"

"Nah. Try two hundred THOUSAND dollars. Everything I buy is one hundred percent authentic. I make sure my shit ain't fake."

TWO HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS?! For this simple ass chain?! He's insane!

"Holy shit. If I knew that it costed this much, I wouldn't have even accepted this."

"That's exactly why I didn't tell you. Usually girls hear how much, and they're quick to return it."

"I don't blame them. Where are we going anyways?"

"We're going to go eat some breakfast, then go out go karting. Trevor might've told me about a few things you like to do."

I didn't even know guys like Armon still even existed. But surprisingly, he's not really that much of my type in a guy.

I like them nice and hood.

Don't get me wrong, LOVING and hood, too.

Armon seems a little bit too nice and classy.

Not for me.

Then I just realized how much he said the chain he got for me was worth..

Two hundred thousand...

I could definitely sell this somewhere up and the city, and get ALL of that money back.
