Four Years Later

Warm sunrays poured through the blinds and hit the sleeping boy's face, making him squirm under the sheets and turn to the other side. But his peaceful Saturday slumber was bothered again by the sudden shrill ringing of his phone.

Groaning to himself, he picked up the phone from the night stand and swiped the call icon.

"H-Hello?" the boy croaked out, voice hoarse from the deep sleep.

"Happy Anniversary Jungkookie!!"

The sleepy boy's eyes widened in shock and he pushed away the sheets before hurrying his way over to the calendar.

"Oh Nooo!!!" Jungkook whined loudly as he touched his forehead in guilt. "Hyungie's gonna be so mad at me!!"

"You mean, you forgot your own anniversary?" Ken asked, a hint of laughter in his voice.

"Yes hyung, Oh what a monster am I? A-And it's almost 8 o' clock?" Jungkook could feel tears in his eyes now. After all these years, how the hell could he forget the most important day of their life?

"Shh..Don't panic Jungkookie. You still got plenty of time to arrange something, okay?"

Jungkook nodded to the phone, sniffing and waited for Ken to speak again.

" Good thing it's a Saturday. Ailso could come over there to help you and..."

"No hyung, that's not happening." Jungkook said sternly. "She's already five months pregnant!?"

Jungkook heard Ken chuckling from the other side. "Trust me, she'd been mourning for days 'cause she got less work at the hospital due to the pregnancy so she'll be more than happy to help you with making a nice dinner. It's no harm for the baby."

"O-Okay, if you say so hyung." Jungkook smiled, being grateful towards such good friends. Ever since Ken and the doctor who was in charge of Seok-hyun's birth back then become lovers, they'd been great companions. Ken had fallen in love with the Scottish lady at the very first sight but was being shy to confess. However, after a whole year, they'd met again at a conference and become friends and married after another year.

"Okay, now here's the plan." Ken started. "You're gonna pick Jin's favorite dinner meal and prepare that before noon. Then... we have to buy a gift which should be-"

"W-Well, I kinda already arranged the g-gift." Jungkook said, blushing a little. "I was actually planning to give it to him on our anniversary b-but now that I've forget it-"

"No, we're gonna do this, okay? And- well, what about Seok-hyun? Guess you won't be able to keep him closer tonight, right?"

Jungkook blushed at the words but mumbled, "I'll ask my hyung to look after him today. Either way, Seokkie would be happy to go there and play with Ji-Eun.."

"Perfect. Okay, now go check whether you have all the ingredients you need and send a text to Ailso the missing stuff. She'll buy them on her way."

"I don't know how to thank you enough hyung. I owe you and noona a lot."

"Don't mention it Jungkookie. Consider we're always even in helping each other."

.......................

"Fry till they turn golden.." Ailso advice, spooning the batter.

"Okay noona" Jungkook smiled at her and she returned it. They went shopping for together and by noon, they started to work on the meal after finishing with the deserts.

"Why aren't they here yet Papa?" the five years old boy asked from where he sat by the table.

Jungkook wiped his flour covered hands on the apron and walked over to the boy with a pout. "You're happy to leave Papa?"

Seok-hyun's face showed worry then as he jumped from the seat and hugged Jungkook's leg before looking up with his large bambi eyes.

"Of course not Papa." he talked in the cutest way possible. "I love Appa and Papa the most. I promise, I will come back soon?"

"Aw.. My sweetheart! I'm gonna miss you!!" Jungkook bend down to let his son hug his neck and plant kisses on either side of his cheek.

"I love you Papa," the boy said, with a smile and Jungkook kissed his forehead lovingly. "I'm a little sad 'cause Appa's not here to say goodbye."

"Let's video chat tonight then."

Seok-hyun was about to say something but the doorbell rang loudly, making him forget everything.

"Uncle Joon!" Seok-hyun exclaimed as soon as Jungkook opened the door.

"Hello Seokkie baby!" Namjoon said with a huge grin as he picked him up in arms. The little one giggled and asked, "Where's Ji-Eun noona?"

"She's in the vehicle. You wanna play with her already?"

"Yes Yes.." The boy said excitedly.

Namjoon put him down so he could run to the vehicle.

"Hey my little brother! How's it goin' on, on the anniversary day?"

Jungkook chuckled nervously as he said, "I'm just preparing a meal. Wanna stay for lunch? By the way, where's Jackson hyung?"

"He's at home working on some files. And no thanks Jungkookie, It'll be a bother to you if we stay today. Seeing you like this, I already can guess it's a busy hour?"

"W-Well yeah.. Thank you so much for keeping Seokkie with you."

"He seemed to be pretty excited about that. Oh, hey Ailso noona!!"

"Hello Joon oppa!" she called out, poking her head through the kitchen door.

"Noona's here to help me with the food." Jungkook explained and Namjoon nodded. He patted his young brother's back, wishing him luck before taking his leave.

"Your brother seems to care about you a lot, right?" Ailso questioned with a smile and Jungkook nodded, returning the smile.

.........................

It was almost 5.30 when Jungkook finally finished arranging the food and candles on the table. He had sent Ailso home earlier, not listening to her nagging. He didn't want her to overwork just because of his stupid brain couldn't remember important things.

"Poof!!" Jungkook sighed wiping the flour covered back of his hand on the forehead. "I better go change before he arri-"

DING DONG!

Jungkook gasped loudly, hearing the door bell go off. He started to panic as he heard it ring once again.

"Oh no, I'm not even dressed yet!" Jungkook's insides started to burn in guilt as he took his steps towards the door. Slowly, he unlocked the door, expecting to hear at least an annoyed grunt from his husband.

"Happy Anniversary, my love!" Jin cheered with a huge smile on his face as he hold out a beautiful pink gerbera bouquet towards Jungkook with both hands.

"H-Hyungie..I-" Jungkook could feel himself tearing up once again. He was being an idiot while Jin had always made sure to keep him happy.

Jin's smile dropped as he saw the tears running down on Jungkook's face. So without wasting time, he pulled the younger into his chest and started kissing his hair. Jungkook hugged him like a Koala and wept silently.

"Are you alright, babe?" Jin asked as softer as he could.

"Y-You don't have to p-pretend hyungie.." Jungkook mumbled through his cries and Jin let out an amused 'Eh?'.

"You c-can scold me o-or hit me.. Be angry at me hyungie..."

Jin titled Jungkook's chin up by a finger and kissed his nose before asking, "Why should I be like that, angel?"

Jungkook bit his bottom lip and stuttered, "I-I forgot..th-that it was our a-anniversary.."

The younger one's eyes widened in surprise when he heard Jin chuckling lightly.

"You're so adorable when you panic for nothing."

"What?" Jungkook sniffed, not understanding Jin's words.

"Look babe, I don't care if you remembered this day or not. It's not important at all. What really matters, is the love you have for me."

Jungkook wiped away is tears aggressively and whispered, "So y-you're okay seeing me like this even on th-this special day?"

"Trust me babe, you look absolutely amazing in anything you wear. Or nothing at all."

"Yeobo!?" Jungkook exclaimed, blushing.

"What?" Jin smiled as innocent as he could. "I was just pointing out the truth. In fact, I love the way you look right now. I feel more homey and comfort within you!"

Jungkook took a peek at his apron which was covered with various kind of stains and laughed a little. "You mean, you love to see me all dirty?"

"As long as it's you, I wouldn't give a shit about dirt."

"Language yeobo! Good thing, I sent Seokkie to hyung's place.."

"Hm..Seems like my babe's got plans for tonight, no?" Jin said walking inside with a smirk and Jungkook bit his lip shyly.

"Oh my goodness!!" Jungkook heard Jin shout from the dinning room. "And, what did you just say about forgetting the big day?"

"W-Well, um... it's a long story. But I d-don't wanna lie, I really did f-"

"Shh..." Jin shushed him by placing a finger on his lips. "Close your pretty mouth sweetie. This's just a more than enough for me. You must've done a lot to arrange this beautiful dinner. I'm so proud of you!"

"Ailso noona helped me so..."

"But still it's your idea babe. So let me go change quickly and start enjoying the date night with you, hmm?"

Jungkook nodded with a slight grin, relief flooding all over him. He felt himself falling in love with Jin again and again. The younger believed Jin as the best husband in the world. And indeed, he was.

Jungkook watched Jin running away in a hurry and grinned. He waited till he disappear to the bathroom and quickly, went inside his room. Opening the closet, he rummaged through the dresses and pulled out a pink turtleneck with matching dark white pair of shorts. A blush crept onto his face as he thought about wearing it in front of Jin 'cause he usually wasn't one to show off his skin.

He placed them neatly on the bed before standing in front of the mirror to tidy himself up a bit. A frown almost covered his face when he saw the traces of white powder on his forehead but shook his head again, picking up the tissue packet.

After fifteen minutes, the young boy was finally ready for the date. He gave a final touch to his appearance by applying some strawberry flavored lip gloss and smiled at the mirror excitedly. Opening the drawer of the little table, he turned red with happiness as his eyes laid on the small box which was wrapped in a red paper.

"Hyungie's gonna be so proud of me.." Jungkook thought dreamily. Then closing back the drawer, he stepped out in light steps.

"Babe, I was won-Oh!" Jin stopped as soon as Jungkook entered the kitchen area. He almost stumbled down as he got up from the chair in a hurry.

"D-Did I make you wait for too long?" Jungkook mumbled with pink cheeks, as he tucked a hair strand behind his ear, pretending to ignore his husband who was gaping at him.

"Oh-um..n-no, not at all.." Jin stuttered and cleared his throat loudly. Jungkook walked over to him shyly and touched his shoulders with both hands. Jin looked directly into his eyes with hunger but Jungkook just pushed him onto the chair. Then he sat right beside him.

"You're gonna give me a heart-attack soon enough, you know that?" Jin asked as he pushed a hand under the table to caress the younger's bare thighs.

Jungkook just chuckled at that and fed his husband a fork-full of spaghetti. Jin was about to say something else but Jungkook shushed him by pecking his lips covered with mozzarella cheese.

"Don't speak while eating, yeobo." he said, casually and Jin gave him a bewildered look.

"You're gonna regret that, princess.."

"I don't mind, hubby!"

.....................................

Jungkook's jaw nearly dropped down to the floor as Jin showed him the present he brought.

"W-When did you? H-how?" Jungkook questioned mindlessly as he kept grazing at the car key.

"Would you like to see it?" Jin asked wrapping his jacket around Jungkook. "It's just outside."

Jungkook let him drag away outside and once his eyes laid on the shiny black aqua, shouted a little.

"How m-much was that?" was the first question he asked but Jin just grinned at that.

"It's a gift so you're not allowed to ask anything more."

"B-But why did you bought such a pricy g-gift? I never wanted-"

"You shouldn't be travelling along the roads by bus when I only uses a car. My husband must have the same life too. So it'll be easy for you to take Seokkie to school and market on the weekends and-"

Jin couldn't finish the sentence as Jungkook sprang forward to hug him.

"Th-Thank you, hyungie..I love you so much!"

Jin kisses the top of his head and mumbled, "Love you more, my sweetheart!"

"Th-This is why you gave me driving lessons last month?" Jungkook asked with a smile as he clung to his husband's neck.

"I recall us having sex in the back seat bef-ouch!" Jin yelped as Jungkook hit his arm playfully.

"You talk too much!" Jungkook whined and shrieked when Jin hoisted him up and put him over the shoulder.

"Then let's not talk too much..."

Jungkook bit his lip as the main door closed, leading them into a long passionate night.
