(⚠️⚠️-Long chapter ahead!)

Jungkook lost count of the time span he walked along the road. Even though Taehyung's half carrying him, the younger didn't feel like going forward anymore. Because the pain inside him grew furtherer, on each step he takes away from the cottage.

He wanted to know how far they've already gone and see if it's too late to run back into Jin's arms.

Taehyung noticed this moodiness of the other and halted his steps to face him.

"Are you alright?"

Jungkook kept his eyes down and sighed. "I-I don't know. I feel so...exhausted of e-everything."

Taehyung bit his bottom lip and shifted the heavy bag to the other shoulder. Then he wrapped his hand back around Jungkook's waist, putting his weight on him and started to walk again without a word.

Meanwhile Jin was getting closer to their bungalow. He was nervous yet excited for the big night.

As soon as he reached the cottage, he parked the car on the snowed lawn and hopped his way towards the door.

He fiddled through his pockets for keys and once found, installed it to the key hole and turned it only to find the door unlocked.

"What the-?" Jin pushed the door open, trying to remember if he forgot to lock it behind, when he left earlier.

"Sweetie, I'm home." he called out keeping the grocery bags on the nearby couch.

Hearing no answer by Jungkook, the older guessed he was taking a nap so went to peek inside the bedroom.

But there wasn't anyone in the room.

"Sweetie? Are you in there?" Jin asked, knocking on the attached bathroom but it was also empty.

"Sweetie?"

Now Jin started to panic a little. Jungkook was never the one to play such silly jokes and he knew it well.

"Sweetie? Kookie??" he shouted as he frantically searched the rooms one by one. Seeing there's nobody in the house, he returned back to the living room while breathing hard. Then suddenly he remembered about the unlocked door which made his forehead cover with beads of sweat.

"Kookie, where are you?" Jin yelled and was about to go out out when he spotted the note paper which was pasted on his laptop. He quickly ripped it off and read through the words.

Dear hyungie,

I found a place to live. So I'm leaving. I'm sorry. Please don't try to come after me, I'm safe and fine. Thank you so much for the care you gave me for the last few months. Wish you all the luck!

Kookie.

Out of massive frustration, Jin crumpled the letter and threw it to a corner, letting out a loud growl.

"JUNGKOOK, HOW DARE YOU?" he shrieked and pulled his hair harshly. It felt like his whole world's falling down in pieces, slowly.

"I'll never let you go like this Jungkook, I'm gonna find you..." he said through gritted teeth and made his way outside the house.

He locked the door and ran out to the lawn where his car was parked. Before getting on the vehicle he searched for any footprints on the ground but they were already covered away from the new layer of snow.

Groaning in hurt and anger, Jin started the engine and accelerated it harshly, speeding down the road.

"Just a little more baby, we're almost there." Taehyung chanted, dragging the tried Jungkook behind.

"T-Taehyung-ah..S-Stop..." the younger panted, clutching onto his belly.

Taehyung looked scared for a moment when they halted their steps for a bit but heaved a sigh of relief as soon as he saw the other was only tired.

"Okay" he nodded giving him a boxy smile which was once the favorite of Jungkook. But not anymore.

The older started to rub Jungkook's stomach comfortingly. It was the first time he laid his hand on the other's belly and it felt so good.

"So do you have a name for the baby?" he asked, carefully missing Jungkook's eyes.

"Seok-hyun" the young boy answered shortly.

"Seok?"

"Yeah, I named him after hyungie."

"But-" Taehyung stopped talking and started listening to a sound he heard from far away. Then in a sudden hurry he took Jungkook's hand into his and started to jog off.

"What's happening?" Jungkook questioned looking back to see what made the other change but even before he could process an answer, the familiar sliver volvo dashed around a corner and screeched to stop in front of them, making the snow dust rise high around the wheels.

The car door was yanked open and a fuming Jin got down from it. His hair was messy, forehead ceased into a deep frown and the blood-shot eyes radiated the anger he's feeling right then.

Taehyung immediately hid the shocked Jungkook behind him, who's mouth was hanging open by seeing the man.

"JUNGKOOK?" he acknowledged in an angry voice, which sent chills down both of others spines. "Get in the car!"

Jungkook was not courageous enough to step up. He was frightened because he had never talked to him that rudely.

"Don't let me repeat myself Jungkook, GET IN THE FUCKING CAR!"

Jungkook flinched as he stood frozen to the ground.

"What if I don't let you?" Taehyung raised his voice, making Jin's burning gaze land on him. And the young boy couldn't hide his fear for it.

"Perhaps you don't like getting a bleeding nose now, do you?" Jin warned. "Because I really feel like giving you one."

"Jungkook doesn't want to be with you anymore so just scram, will ya?" Taehyung also snapped, placing a hand on the other's waist. "I'm the baby's biological father so I have more rights for him than you do."

Jin's nostrils flared in pure anger as he stepped forward to make a grab at Jungkook's hand but failed because of Taehyung's firm position in front of the other.

"You!" Jin shouted and suddenly grabbed the boy harshly from the collar. Taehyung let out a loud groan of pain when a fist landed on his left cheek.

Jin was about to deliver another punch when a small hand clutched onto his arm tightly.

"Please hyung, please stop!!!" Jungkook's small voice begged him.

Jin glared at Jungkook and threw Taehyung to the ground.

"You're not going anywhere with him." It's more like a request than a demand. Jungkook could hear the pain in Jin's words and it made his heart ache too.

"Who are you to say that?" Taehyung shouted getting up with difficulty while wiping his bleeding lip with the back of his hand. "He's mine."

Jin didn't took notice of his presence anymore. He grabbed Jungkook's arm in a firm grip and pulled open the door for the passenger seat.

"Get in!" he ordered coldly.

Jungkook had no other choice than to obey him. Jin was scarier when he got angry and besides, he didn't want him to beat Taehyung again.

"No, you can't take him!!" Taehyung shouted banging on the closed shutter of Jungkook's side. He couldn't see the other from outside because of the tinted glasses so he tried to yank open the door but it was already locked by Jin.

Jin raved the engine twice before making a race start for the car. Taehyung was pushed aside because of the impact and in a blink of an eye the vehicle was already disappeared.

Jungkook was too scared to look at Jin in the eye that moment. It was the first time he's seeing Jin's this side of behavior.

He didn't know why Jin came back for him although he felt a little relieved about it. He knew he wouldn't be able to stop regretting about leaving Jin behind, for the rest of his life if he had gone with Taehyung.

Not a single word was shared between the two along the whole journey back to the cottage. After parking the car, Jin opened the door for him and gave a hand to climb down but without removing the poker face.

It bothered Jungkook so much to see he's still mad at him. He knew what he did was not very acceptable but it was for his own good.

As soon as they entered the living room, Jin locked the door and put the keys into his pockets while the younger watched it in disbelief.

"Hyu-"

"SHUT UP!!" Jungkook shivered hearing Jin's harsh yell.

"YOU DARED TO GO WITH THAT MORON AGAIN! Shame on you, Jeon!"

It hurt Jungkook to hear him calling by his surname 'cause Jin never had done that. It had always been Kookie or Sweetie.

"I-I'm sorry hy-hyungie...."

"Sorry? Oh you're sorry now, eh?" Jin's hands fisted. "What if something happened to you on the way? Can you even guess how stupid it is to walk miles with a baby inside you?"

"I-I"

"Don't interrupt me Jungkook. You're at fault here. Out of all people, you chose Taehyung to run away with. Are you having amnesia? Is that why you forgot what he did to you in the past?"

Jungkook wanted to say something but was afraid of the reply he would get in return. So he just kept his head down while hot tears dripped down his face.

"What did I do wrong Jungkook.. Tell me. Where did I go wrong for you to think that I'm not good enough as a caretaker? Did I miss something here?"

Jungkook shook his head, biting his lips.

"From now on, you cannot step out of this house without my permission, you hear me?"

Something snapped inside the younger hearing that and even without thinking twice he told, "I'm not your prisoner hyung."

Jin's brows furrowed in rage and Jungkook immediately knew he fucked up.

"GO TO YOUR ROOM!" Jin dictated, pointing at the door rigidly. "YOU'RE GROUNDED!!"

Jungkook scowled at him with teary eyes and ran into the room crying. He locked the door behind him and went to sit on the bed to have his own time, crying bitterly.

Jin heaved a sigh of frustration as he stared at the locked door. He slowly stepped over to it and pressed his ear on the surface only to hear the muffling sounds of Jungkook sobbing.

"I'm sorry baby" he whispered against the door while a tear escaped his eyes. "I'm sorry for making you cry. I just-I just love you too much to let you go."

Jungkook didn't know when he drifted to sleep but when he woke up, it was already dark. Taking a glance at the table clock, he found out that it was almost 7 in the evening.

Jungkook slowly slid out of the bed and stood on his feet, wondering what he should do next. He didn't have any appetite to eat dinner so without making a noise, he unlocked the bedroom door and crept in to the living room.

The lights in the room was switched on but Jin was nowhere to be seen.

"H-Hyungie?" Jungkook called out, afraid of the thought whirling across his mind. But when he saw Jin's car keys and wallet on the stool, it vanished away.

Not a single sound could be heard inside the house so he quickly went over to the window in his room to peak outside. His eyes travelled all way over to the lake where he saw the silhouette of Jin, who was sitting by the bank.

Jungkook sighed in relief and put on his coat, muffler and boots. Then he walked over to the main door. Taking a shaky inhale, he stepped outside and closed the door behind him.

Ripples went through his skin when the icy wind hit his face. He knew Jin would've blamed him for going outside at this time if it happened an other time.

With slow steps, he made his way towards Jin over the deep snow layer. He stopped at a point, where there were only three more steps ahead to reach Jin.

Taking in a cold breath, he went over to the other and carefully sat beside him. He took a quick glance at Jin only to notice he was staring at the water. It would be a lie if we say it didn't hurt Jungkook's heart.

"H-Hyungie?" Jungkook shook a little because of the cold wind blew through the lake.

And to his surprise, Jin removed his coat and wrapped it around his shoulder. But he was careful not to make eye contact with the other.

"You shouldn't have come, it's cold out here." Jin spoke calmly for the first time, looking at the reflection of shiny half moon on the lake surface.

"I-I'm sorry." Jungkook apologized, scooting a little closer to the other. "I just wanted to say sorry for what I did today. I-I didn't mean to scare you."

"Hmm" Jin hummed, not quite showing interest in the conversation.

"It's just... I thought maybe, staying with you won't let me have...what I wanted in life. I was afraid that everything would make me get hurt at the end."

Jin looked at Jungkook with questioning eyes.

"What do you mean?"

Jungkook fidgeted with his fingers as he answered, "I-I thought the f-feelings I have for him would break my heart at the end."

Jin shifted closer to him and slowly hold the younger's chin to make him look in the eyes. Then with trembling lips he stuttered,

"F-feelings for whom?"

Jungkook's eyes glistened with tears as he spoke.

"F-for you"

Jin could swear the world stopped around him. His mind couldn't process anything but the last two words Jungkook just said.

'For you'

For him? Only for him?

Is he dreaming? Is it another pathetic dream he's having under  the spell of love?

Jin's irises turned it's focus from the space, back towards Jungkook's eyes, which were now looking feared of rejection.

"I-I'm s-sorry hyungie...I didn't m-mean..."

"....Kiss me sweetie" Jin interrupted, intensely. "Kiss me, and show this is happening for real."

Jungkook looked beyond amused, hearing that. He never in his life thought Jin would allow this, the word just slipped through his mouth unintentionally.

Sensing Jungkook's hesitation, Jin moved closer to him and cupped his cheeks lovingly. The younger flinched a little, darting his gaze away from Jin's face shyly.

"Look at me, sweetie." Jin whispered.

Jungkook's doe eyes made his way back to Jin's almond ones as they met together.

Jin's eyes flickered over to lips of the beautiful boy in front of him, as if to ask for permission. But he didn't needed it anyway. Both of them leaned in at the same time and was met with the sweetest thing possible on earth ;their lips. They matched so perfectly, just like two pieces in a puzzle fit together.

While Jin's head tilted to right and Jungkook's to left, the older's thumb caressed the soft skin of his lover's cheek.

Both of them could feel the burning inside them, wanting to absorb the feeling of true love, as they went through their passionate first kiss. It wasn't lustful, it didn't involved tongues but it did pour all the feelings they had for each other. The kiss, literally spoke it's own unspoken words.

It went some seconds for them to pull apart, only because they needed to breathe.

"Sweetie...."

"H-hyungie?"
