Jin didn't wait for Ken, so he texted him that he's leaving. He get his car from the parking lot and drove back to the apartment with thousands of thoughts swirling across his already messy mind.

As Jin entered the passcode and stepped inside the condo, he heard the faint sound of the TV in the living room. Jin removed his shoes and kept them neatly on the shoe rack before turning around the corner to see the little boy looking at him with an eager face, on the couch.

"Hyungie, you're home!!" he exclaimed with the cutest voice. "How's your day?"

Jin removed his coat and threw it onto the coat hanger with a devastated face.

"I'll take a shower first Kookie." he replied with a tired smile. "Then we'll talk about how your day was, hmm?"

Jungkook was a little worried to see the slight dark circles around the others eyes but nodded anyways. He should be strong for his hyung.

After changing into his pyjamas, Jin stepped out of the bedroom and walked over to where Jungkook was still sitting. He plopped onto the sofa horizontally and shifted his head onto the younger's lap.

Jungkook turned the Tv off and switched his gaze to his Jinnie hyung's closed eyes. After a little hesitation, he pulled out his hand and ran the fingers through Jin's soft brown hair. The elder sighed in satisfaction as he leaned to the other's touch.

"Did something happen hyungie?" Jungkook asked studying the other's face closely.

"Nothing Kookie." Jin replied opening his eyelids lazily. "I'm just tired. But how are you? Was it any fun today?"

Jungkook giggled. "Yeah, I watched Oggy and Cockroaches and then... I did studied Geology for sometime and...."

Jin sat upright hearing the last part. Jungkook stopped talking and stared at the other as of to ask why.

"Y-You studied?" Jin barely mouthed the question.

"Yeah?" Jungkook answered casually. "I know I can't go back to school but.. I can't stop studying, can I? I wanna be a doctor just like hyungie."

Jin felt his eyes getting blurry so he immediately pulled the latter for a hug.

"I know sweetie, I know." Jin mumbled against Jungkook's shoulder. The younger was caught by surprise but didn't question.

They stayed like that for sometime, until Jin pulled back to look at his face.

"Don't worry about it Kookie, hyung will pay for the tutors. You can continue your studies once we move to our new house."

"You bought a house this soon, hyungie?" Jungkook asked, his doe eyes wide in surprise.

Jin chuckled as he nodded his head. "Yep and you're gonna love it."

"Really? But didn't we had a deal about showing me the place first, before buying it?" Jungkook cocked his eyebrow in a mischievous way.

"Okay okay, I remember the deal but," Jin went on with a grin, "It's not that pricy, I swear. Even they sold their furniture at a low cost."

"Oh that's great hyungie!" Jungkook clapped his hands, clearly excited of the news.

Jin noticed that Jungkook had changed the way he address him from 'hyung' to 'hyungie' and felt a merry feeling blooming inside his heart. The word brought more love to the meaning of it, that's what Jin considered.

Jin went on talking with Jungkook about the moving for a little while until the sound of the door beeping open was heard.

"Hello boys!" Ken greeted in his usual cheery tone as he entered the living area. "Still with empty stomachs, right? Please don't say we're going to have pizza 'cause I'm sick of them."

"Actually I was planning to order some pasta." Jin said fishing out his phone. "I'm too tired to cook. Are you hungry yet, Kookie?"

"No, I'm fine." Jungkook smiled. "But please order if Ken hyung's hungry."

"Yeah, I definitely am." Ken said walking over to the bathroom. "I want my plate ready when I return back from there."

"Ken hyung always starves." Jin chuckled turning his gaze back to the phone but as soon as he saw the notifications on the top, frowned.

"I-Isn't that my hyung?" Jungkook questioned looking at the screen and the elder tossed the phone face down on the couch, shaking his head.

"N-No."

"Wha- I just saw them hyungie?" Jungkook retorted with an annoyed face. "There were 16 messages. Is something wrong hyungie? Did he call you? D-Did he come to meet you?"

"N-No...He's just..." Jin didn't know what to say. He wanted to hide the fact that he and Namjoon had a fight, from the younger because why give him more pressure in life? He's still 17 and Jin was determined not to let Jungkook's mental health get affected by any of these extra bad stuff.

"He's probably checking out if you're okay." Jin reasoned, rather unsurely. "He must be worried."

Jungkook huffed as he looked aside. "Don't lie to me hyungie. If he was asking about my welfare, then why do you have to hide those messages from me? And I know he's not a person who would do that kinda thing. He never cared about me, alright? So tell me, what's going on between you two? Is he threating you? Or is he going to sue you?"

"No sweetie no..." Jin cut him out as he saw tears in the other's eyes. "He's not. It's just..he wants me to c-come back."

"Wh-what?" Jungkook's already large glossy eyes, showed shock. "He w-wants you b-back?"

"Yeah but don't be afraid sweetie 'cause I'm not leaving you. You remember I promised, to stay by your side no matter what happens? Remember hyungie's promise?"

"But why?" Jungkook cried out, the question he wanted to ask so badly, all this time. "Why do you choose me over him?"

Jin was speechless for a moment before he answered, "Because you're my brother."

"H-Hyungie?" Jungkook blinked his eyes in shock.

"Yes sweetie, you're my brother now, not his. Jungkook is Kim Seokjin's brother." Jin literally squealed the sentence.

"So I'm Kim Jungkook now?" the younger asked with innocent eyes but that made Jin gulp twice.

"Um..Y-yeah, yeah..." he nodded right away. "You could say that."

Jungkook smiled through his tears and sprang forward to hug his beloved hyungie again. Jin wrapped his arms around Jungkook securely and patted his back.

"Th-thank you so much hyungie." Jungkook whispered into his chest. "I don't know what I'd do without you. For a second I thought you're gonna leave me."

"Sweetheart, do never think like that again. You should know, even if I die it's going to be with you."

Jungkook felt bad hearing that but a part of him screamed with relief. He wanted to know what good deeds he had done in the past to deserve all this kindness from Jin didn't voiced it anyways.

When they parted away, Jin wiped away the tears in Jungkook's eyes and smiled. He opened his mouth to say something but the vibrating of the phone beside, caused him to close it back. He picked it up and checked the screen only to have a disappointed expression on his face.

"Gimme a minute Kookie." he said getting up from the couch and walking over to the kitchen.

"Yes, WHAT?" Jin hissed into the phone as soon as he swiped the green icon.

"Jinnie, this's gonna be my last warning!" Namjoon's voice trembled even he tried to sound stern. "Consider my request or there's gonna be consequences."

"You and your stupid consequences!" Jin snapped. "Do you think I would fucking care about any of them?"

"Jin you don't understand, alright? Your arrogance's gonna blow down as soon as I place the news in Mr.Kim's ears, you know that."

"If this is blackmailing," Jin went on. "Then you're gonna get nothing out of it, I promise. Because even if you tell my parents that I've broken up with you, they'll not be dumb enough to ask for the reason. Tell me how you're gonna explain Jungkook's pregnancy to them? Huh?"

Jin waited for a reply but the other seemed to be dumbfounded by the suddenly stated fact. Jin became encouraged from that silence and went on,

"Are you speechless now, Mr.Jeon? Go tell them, whatever you planned to say before. Then they'll get to know, great Mr.Jeon's such a careless person who can't even protect his own brother beside a husband. How is that?"

"What if I don't have to tell about Jungkook?" Namjoon asked, this time sure about what he's talking. "It's not necessary, right? I'll say it's because you have a dirty little relationship with that Ken guy, behind my back. Does that sound more realistic than your excuse, hmm? They've already seen you always sticking by his side like gum."

"Y-You..."

"Shh... I'm not done yet. When they'll get to know about that, they'll demand you to get back with me, won't they? And imagine what will happen if you oppose, saying you have to protect a pregnant little weasel? I'm sure you're not gonna let his secret out. Am I right?"

"Namjoon I-I'll kill you!! Why don't you let me live in peace? What's wrong with you? Why don't you find a better one to marry your ass?"

"Because you're the best."

Jin scoffed loudly. "Don't expect me to fall for your fake compliments Namjoon and besides, do you think my parents are gonna believe you over me? I can easily get away with this without spilling Kookie's secret."

"Nothing would make me stop." Namjoon retorted arbitrarily.

"We're in the same boat, don't you see? So it's time for us to move on."

"I don't wanna move on."

"Hyungie?"

Jin's ears perked up, hearing Jungkook's call from the next room.

"Yes sweetie?" Jin answered, forgetting he's still on the call.

"Ken hyung ordered dinner. Are you coming hyungie?"

"I-Is that Jungkook?" Jin averted his gaze back to the phone and cursed under his breath. He disconnected the call and blocked the number right away even though he knew that would be useless.

"I'm coming"

(A/N:- Last night I separated the rest of the story to chapters in my mind and realized that there's way too much more to go. Do you guys prefer reducing some parts or keeping them as well, in the story?)
