He was often categorized as intimidating, impulsive, obnoxious, offensive, horrifying, and monstrous. However, you wished that you could throw your fists five inches deep into the skull of the people who offend him.

But you couldn't really blame them either. Tendou has always been the type to block his heart with solid cinder walls. Ever since he was young, he was never really treated fairly. That's why he often mocks people especially on the court.

But then his life took a huge turn when he met you. In his eyes you were perfect. He had trouble approaching you but was genuinely surprised when you came to him first. You were kind, intelligent, selfless, honest, funny, independent, and nurturing.

As for you, you were quite scared at first but you were never the type to judge people based on their physical traits. For some reason, you wanted to get to know him more.

As you grew closer to him you've come to realized how loving and caring he was despite always being a dork. He showed you his vulnerability and opened his heart to you. You made him extremely happy because you were always there.

He also discovered new things about you too. You also protected yourself. You were scared to show your vulnerability but with time you were comfortable enough to be vulnerable around him. He listened to your rants whether they were dumb or not. He could spend the entire day with you in his arms if you needed comforting.

You weren't just lovers. You were also best friends.

"(F/n)-chan! We're going to leave soon!" Tendou called fixing the tie around his neck.

"Okay! I just finished! Let me grab my bag!" You called from the other room rushing around in your dress, "Okay, we can go."

"You look stunning," He smiled softly.

"You look great too," you laughed.

"You know you didn't have to wear any makeup. You always look beautiful," he whined childishly.

"Oh shut up. I want too make a good impression on your family."

"My family already loves you. You're basically a part of it now anyways," he stated. You sighed and ushered him out the door so you wouldn't be late.

You've been in a relationship with Tendou for years now and you've already became close to his family for a long time. Today was his cousin's wedding and she wanted Tendou to bring you along too.

"Wow it's so pretty!" You admired your surroundings, "they choose a really nice place to go."

Tendou simply nodded while holding you hand. His family and friends were ecstatic to see you.

You nearly cried during the ceremony but you found it quite unusual since Tendou hasn't said much since you and him arrived.

"Satori? Are you alright?" You lightly squeezed his hand.

"Hm? Yeah! I'm good. I feel fine," he reassured. His lips curved into a warm smile making your heart flutter, "Let's go eat!"

Little did you know, he couldn't stop thinking about his wedding. The wedding where you would be his bride. And he'll be standing on the end of the aisle watching you walk down with your father. He felt selfish, but it's all he wanted in that moment. But he didn't know when would be the right time to propose.

The night was filled with laughter and love. Many were already drunk due to the open bar and you couldn't help but laugh at their drunken states.

"(F/n)-chan! I'm doing the bouquet toss!Come to the dance floor!" Tendou's cousin ran up to you and grabbed your arm.

"What?! I can't go! I'm not single," you laughed.

"That doesn't matter! As long as you're not married!" She forcefully pulled you along, "Okay! Everyone is here! Let's do it!"

She threw her bouquet high in the air. Other girls were already trying to push each other around but you simple held out your arms knowing that someone else would probably claw it out of the air in any moment.

Without a warning, you felt a bundle of something land in your arms. You weren't sure what happened yet, but you pulled it close to you. As the group dispersed, you held out what had fell on your arms and was shocked to see the bouquet in your hands.

Tendou's cousin screamed loudly and wrapped herself around you. As you were still processing what just happened you glanced towards Tendou who was leaning over a railing above the dance floor.

He smiled and nodded towards you as he rested his chin on his palm.

Your face immediately grew red.

You went back to the table and slumped down in your seat.

"I wasn't even trying to catch it," you sighed.

"It was fate of course!" Tendou brought his chair closer to yours, "don't worry, I'll get that ring for you."

"Quit messing with me!" You punched him playfully making him laugh.

He kissed your temple and whispered into your ear, "I'm being serious."

"Don't make me start wishing. I'll become impatient," you hid your face in his shoulder.

"Don't worry, you won't have to wait too long," He chuckled as he stroked your head.

Catching the bride's bouquet at a wedding, typically means that you're the next person to get married.
