Hours had passed and you still refused to leave your spot from under the climbing structure. Your empty eyes stared blankly at the small and beautifully created snowflakes that fell ever so delicately onto the thin layer of bright white snow that was laid out on the parks ground.

You pulled out the small notes from him out of your pockets and stared at them briefly once again. You laid them on the ground as you smiled sadly.

"If there's anyway that I'm going to have to get over you, then I must accept the situation and move on. I have to leave it behind," You pulled out a small lighter from your small bag and watched as the flame flickered. You placed it carefully onto the pieces of paper and watched it burn slowly.

You crawled out from under the climbing structure and tucked your hands back into your warm coat. Without even looking back you left to go home.

Little did you know the notes that were left behind to burn had been burned out by the icy breeze.

You entered your home once again. Looking around you've realized about how many memories still lingered in your home.

You grabbed a box and collected all the pictures of you and him together that was in your home.

"Just one last time (F/n). That's all," You exhaled as you looked through the pictures.

You smiled softly at some of the best memories you've ever had with him. You caressed the picture with your thumb as it glided along his face.

"I wish I had never met you," you chocked back a small sob as you quickly put the items in the box and taped it up. You placed the box in the back of your closet to ensure that you'd never have to see the painful memories again.

*A couple months later*

"Hey (F/n)," One of your best friends from high school came up to you while you were at nearby cafe getting some coffee for yourself.

"Daichi?! How have you been I haven't seen you in a long time!" You stood up to give him a hug. He joined you at the cafe as you both caught up. But one thing that he mentioned caught you off guard.

"Hey, I'm sorry about what happened .. you know, with Sugawara," He scratched the back of his head nervously.

"No.. don't be. It's all the past now. It's not like it matters anymore. I'm giving up on hoping. But my dumb ass well knows that something like that will ever happen," You took another sip of your coffee.

"You don't know that..."

"You're right Sawamura, I don't but I don't want to wait any longer for something like that to come. It's not worth it," You explained. "Plus it's only dragging me down."

"You should at least talk to him one last time," He suggested.

"I told you Dai-chan! It doesn't even matter anyways–."

"You're right. But you should talk to him properly. You didn't even reply to him when he sent you that letter," He cut you off. "If you want to get over him then break it off completely."

"How'd you know about all this?" You asked.

"That doesn't matter at the moment (F/n). We can talk more later. Now go." He motioned you.

"Thanks Daichi," You quickly left the cafe and ran off.

You stopped to stare at the sunny sky as you now pondered about where you were actually going to go to find him.

Without even thinking your legs had reacted on your own and began to walk to the destination where he had confessed to you.

You arrived at the small wooden bridge that crossed a small river. You rested your chin in the palms of your hands as you leaned your elbows on the wooden rail.

You weren't sure about how long you were there but time flew by quickly. You even managed to forget about the reason why you were even here.

"(F/n)?"

You heard a sweet angelic voice that seemed too familiar. You quickly turned to take a look but immediately regretted doing so. It was him. Right when your heart was starting to bandage itself up, it felt like as if started to bleed again.

All the memories you'd tried to forget had flown right back into your head like a wave. It's drove you crazy. You wanted to forget. You never wanted to see him again.

But yet... You're still here. And you were waiting. Waiting for him.

You quickly turned around and began to walk away to prevent him from seeing you in such a broken state.

"(F/n), wait," He grabbed your wrist tightly as if you were going to disappear as soon as he'd let go.

"Please let me go Sugawara-kun," You stated softly. The way his name rolled off your tongue was so bitter.

Little did you know, he hated hearing such a foreign name from you.

"I can't, and I won't (F/n)."

"Don't call me (F/n)!" You spat coldly making him flinch. "We're not that close anymore."

"I saw what you left behind. That snowy day," He pulled out a couple pieces of papers that were slightly burned and torn.

"How did you– No, that doesn't matter anymore. Please I just want to go home. Why are you even here?" You asked as you yanked your arm away from him. Your back faced him once again. You didn't want him to see how weak you were.

"I should be asking you that question. You were waiting for someone, for me," His voice laced with guilt.

"Hah, No, I just wanted to go here."

"(L/n) (F/n), turn around and face me," He said sternly.

"Why–"

"Face me," He cut you off.

You reluctantly obeyed and turned to face him as you stared down at your feet.

"Look me in the eyes (F/n)."

You slowly raised your head and as soon as you saw his face, you broke down. Tears fell from your dull eyes.

He also had also started to breakdown. He hated how broken you were. He hated when you cried. He hated it when you pretended that he was a stranger to you. And it was his fault.

"I'm so sorry (F/n). I know that an apology won't convince you to forgive me. I hated being separated from you. I was in a rough spot when I sent you the last letter. It felt like nothing else had mattered except myself. I was so selfish. And because of me, I caused you so much pain. I caused myself so much pain. If only, if only you were able to give me another chance,"He had fallen to his knees now as he held onto your hand as he began to sob loudly. "I missed the way called my name, I missed the three words you told me everyday, I miss the loving bright smile you'd give to me, I missed how you'd remind me to keep striving forward, I missed everything about you. And I know I don't deserve you. Not at all. But let me be selfish just one more time. Please, just one more... one more chance."

You kneeled down only to slap him across the face.
Your eyes were filled with tears as you now looked him strait in the eyes.

"You don't know. You don't know how long I've been waiting for you to come back and tell me to give you another chance. But you never did come back. I was so sure you hated me. Hated me because I wasn't enough. Because I wasn't able to make you happy.. And now your here. You show up now! After such a long agonizing time you appear right before my eyes right when I was on the brink of forgetting you only to be brought back to square one," You sobbed. He embraced you tightly as he took in every word you said. "I love you so much Koushi. And that's what kills me. And I can't get myself to leave you behind. Please don't leave me alone again. You don't understand about what I had to go through."

"No, no, no... Don't say such things (F/n). I would never hate you. I wouldn't be able to get myself to do so anyways. I was the one who didn't deserve you. I swear I won't leave you behind again. I'll be right here. I love you," He assured you as he stroked your hair.

"I forgive you."

"Huh?" He pulled away from the hug as he held your shoulders.

"I forgive you," You have him a small smile as he smiled back brightly as he wiped away your tears.

"Thank you. Thank you thank you thank you!" He hugged you tightly as you returned the hug.

"I love you so much (F/n)," He kisses your face childishly.

"I love you too Koushi," You giggled.

Wow wow wow! This was pretty cheesy. Sorry if he was OOC..
Anyways, hoped you enjoyed!

Reminder! You are strong! You must never give up on your dreams. Sorry to break it to you but if you just sit around wishing for something to happen it will very most likely won't. You have to try to make it become a reality. If you keep striving towards that goal you'll reach it eventually. Be patient. Just keep moving forward.

Oh and also look forward to some possibly more new updates because I get a four day weekend this week!!
:))
