Your hands shook as you gripped your pen tightly.

Tears pricked the edges of your eyes as you threw your head back and took a deep breath. Glancing at the clock on your desk you clicked your tongue in annoyance.

4:00 am

It was probably your tenth mental breakdown of the night in addition to your fourth cup of your caffeinated drink.

Banging your head on your text book, you let out a distressed wail, "I'm a failure!"

This test meant a lot to you as the semester was coming to an end and you were placed at a borderline grade. If you failed this test, finals isn't going to help anything.

"None of this material even makes sense! I've learned nothing or gained any information through the many hours of mental and physical pain!" You angrily threw your notebook of notes across the room. Shaking your head, you plopped onto the floor of your room.

Your eyes fluttered open and cringed at the bright light from your window. Panic flashed through your brain as you fumbled to your feet as you looked at the clock on your night stand.

7:30 am

School starts in 10 minutes.

You almost collapsed as a heavy and painful migraine hit you. Your limbs were beginning to give out as well.

"Come on (F/n), you can make it through the day," you stood up again as pain surged through your body, "...everything is spinning.. what the hell."

Quickly changing into your uniform, you shoved your work into your bag and attempted to run out the door.

You were extremely dizzy and the pain in your head was dreadful. You we're able to run a bit but not without looking like a drunk.

The bells rang through the school but you managed to barge through the classroom doors right on time.

"I... I'm here!" you breathed heavily.

"(L/n)-San, I'm glad your here, please have a seat," your teacher acknowledged your presence as you walked slowly to your desk trying to keep your balance.

"Before the test begins, We're going to review some of the information."

"Looks like you had a great night. Looks like your hungover," the male beside you chuckled.

You wanted to fight back but you we're too weak to even talk without even having to barf. You only managed to let a small groan as you laid your head on your desk.

"Are you okay...?" Kenma turned around and whispered to you in concern.

You managed to give a small nod.

The pudding head looked back at his best friend before turning around again.

"You should go to the infirmary to rest," Kuroo insisted but you only ignored his suggestion.

"I'm okay," you managed to state.

"Clearly your not," his voice became more stern.

"Don't worry I'll make it."

"Would someone like to take these papers to the office?"

You weakly raised your arm to participate.

"(F/n), stop, you're going to–."

"I'll be fine, I just need some fresh air," you smiled weakly as you stood from your desk to retrieve the stack of papers.

"Thank you (L/n)-San, please come back quickly."

You carried the stack out the door. It only seemed like your migraine was getting worst by the second. Your vision blurred but you blinked it away. You reached the stair case but then your legs began to shake. Fuzzy black spots slowly consumed your vision and you could feel your body become  lighter.

Kuroo impatiently tapped his desk as he watched your unsteady figure sway out the door. He couldn't stop but worry about you.

"She'll be okay," He states quietly to himself.

He caught Kenma looking back at him.

'She's not going to make it there,' the setter mouthed to his friend.

Fear struck him like a knife as he abruptly stood up from his chair.

"Kuroo?"

"C-can I use the bathroom?" He asked the startled teacher.

"Sure?"

He quickly walked out of the room and ran through the halls trying to find where you had gone. He was relieved to find you walking towards the stair case.

He noticed that you began to sway and lose balance.

By instinct he bolted towards you with out stretched arms.

"(F/n)!"

Quickly regaining your vision you saw the stack of papers was now littered along the stairs as a tight grip was around your arm. You we're quickly pulled back into someone's chest.

"I have you, you're alright," the voice exhaled as his muscular arms wrapped around your shoulders.

"Kuroo?" you your face was now red in embarrassment as the taller male held you.

"You really got nerves to even come to school in this condition!" He scolded.

"I-I'm sorry.."

"Here, hang onto me. You're going to the infirmary whether you like it or not."

"But the–."

"Don't worry about the papers. Someone will get it for you," he lifted you up on his back and you reluctantly wrapped your arms around his neck.

He stormed to the infirmary and placed you onto one of the beds.

You laid down and closed your eyes to rid of the dizziness that was still present.

"You didn't have to worry about me," you sighed.

"How can I not be worried when your in that shape?" He grabbed a cold towel and placed it onto your forehead, "you could've been majorly injured if you fell from those stairs."

"I guess... I can take care of myself from here, you should go back," you glanced at the male who still seemed concerned.

"I don't care if you can take care of yourself right now, I'm going to take care of you regardless."

"So stubborn..."

"Kenma told me to go after you," he said under is breath.

"You made that choice didn't you?" You teased a bit.

"Hey! Be grateful that your not in the hospital right now!"

"Alright! Sorry!" You smiled.

"I'm glad your feeling better.."

"For once your not making fun of me, I'm surprised." You stated lying back onto your pillow, "thank you though.."

You soon drifted off into your slumber. Kuroo placed the blanket up to your shoulders and ruffled your hair.

"How much longer are you going make me worry for you," he smiled softly, "I honestly don't know how much longer I can wait to claim you as mine."

"A bit longer.." you breathed making him flinch from your sudden awakening.

"Then I'll wait."

I tried making several chapters of this series but I wasn't happy with any of them,, (not happy about this one either)
So I discarded them @-@
But I might as well put something out for now since I have the time.
I might have a long one shot coming out soon on this "book" since I found a super interesting writing prompt XD (quality over quantity>:3 but quantity does help,,)
