"Your braids are giving me life! Who did them?" Skai asked as we sat down in her bedroom. "Thanks I did it myself." I told her flipping one side of my braids to the back. "Really? That's impressive. Only person I know who could body their own hair like that is my Aunt Saint." She said as I nodded my head.

"Yea i know, she's done a few wigs for me before." I told her smiling. I adored Ms.Saint, she's literally the sweetest person I've ever met. At first I thought she wasn't going to like me but nope that wasn't the case at all. The only person who has a problem with me is Kristin. I don't know why to be honest.

"I'm starving can we go get something to eat?" I asked. "You can but I can't. You know the whole punishment thing." She said as I nodded my head. "Uber eats?" I said and she sighed. "I don't have any money. They took my cards as well." She said as I rolled my eyes pulling my phone out. "I wouldn't have mentioned it if I was going to pay for it." I told her. "Like hot wings?" I asked.

"Bitch who doesn't like hot wings?" She asked causing me to laugh. "Get honey barbecue too! Don't forget the fries." She said as I nodded my head.

"So how long have you and Gio been messing around?" She asked catching me off guard. "I'm going to kill him." I said as she started laughing. "He didn't tell me anything but you definitely confirmed it." She said causing me to gasp. "Okay okay but how did you know?" I asked her as she rolled her eyes.

"The way you and him laugh at each other corny ass jokes in class, ya body language. I don't see how people haven't figured out by now to be honest." She said. As I sat there embarrassed. "Your not going to tell Chyna right?" I asked as she sucked her teeth. "That bitch rubbed me the wrong way, plus he seems so much happier around you." She said as I just sat there quiet.

"Hey don't beat yourself up about it? Shit happens life goes on." She said as I nodded my head.

"Skai you ordered food?" We heard causing us to look up at the door. "I didn't but Rain did." She responded to Ms.Seven. "Well it's downstairs." She said before disappearing. "Damn we were so into our conversation I didn't even realize the Uber rags driver called twice." I said putting my phone up in my pocket as we made out way downstairs.

"Don't eat the girls food." I heard as we made our way to the kitchen we're Gio, Tristan, Kenny and their friend Naz were all standing with a wing in their hand. "Those were not for ya." Skai said. "Shut up." Tristan said causing the guys to laugh.

"Oh don't forget we're doing family dinner at your aunts and uncle house today. G comes home today." Ms.Seven said before exiting out the kitchen.

"Damn so you wasn't going to invite us?" Kenny said as Gio sucked his teeth. "Nigga what part of family dinner did you not understand?" Gio asked causing Kenny to suck his teeth.

"Don't ya have something to do?" Skai asked them causing me to laugh. "That's funny?" Gio said as I nodded my head biting into a bow wing. Feeling my
Phone buzz I quickly took it out my sweats and saw it was a text message from my father.

Reading the text message I sighed. "Skai, I'm going to head out. Needed at home." I told her throwing away my trash. "Okay text my mom phone when you get home." She said as I nodded my head walking towards the door.

"Yo Rain." i beard causing me to turn my head. "Yes?" I said turning around as I watched Gio jog outside the house. "You good?" He asked as I nodded my head. "Yea my mom having an episode and my dad needs me to clean her up." I said as he just looked at me.

"Alright. Text me when you get home. Be safe." He said kissing  me on my forehead as I sighed getting into my car pulling off.

"WILLIAM FUCK YOU AND THIS DUMBASS FAMILY! JUST LET ME TAKE MY MONEY AND GET THE HELL UP OUT OF HERE!" I heard as soon as si opened the door to my house.

"SANDRA SHUT THE FUCK UP! YOU NOT GOING ANY FUCKING WHERE!" I heard my dad yell as I walked into the living room with them throwing shit at each other. Shaking my head I watched as the continued to go back and fourth with each other.

"Are you people done?" I asked as the continued bickering. Clearing my throat i yelled "ENOUGH!" And they finally stopped yelling and looked at me. "Oh my gosh sweetie I'm so sorry you had to see that." My mother said tripping over towards me as I pushed her off.

"You smell like alcohol." I said pushing her off of me. "Well because she's been drinking all fucking day." My father said as I took a deep breath. This was a regular day in the Clark house hold. They fought all day until I came home as if I was the parent. They simply grew out of love and quickly started to hate each other. But they won't get a divorce because they swear it would hurt little ole rain to have to choice which parent to stay with. Little do they know this is hurting little old rain more.

"Dad just leave. Please." I said as he sucked his teeth grabbing his jacket walking out the house. "That's all he's ever good for. Leaving!" My mother said opening up the liquor cabinet. "No." I said snatching the bottle from her. "Bitch. Don't you fucking dare snatch liquor from my fucking hand in my house!" She said getting in my face as I pushed her back a little.

"Sandra go to bed your bed." I said putting the bottle back and licking the cabinet. "Just like your ugly ass daddy. Think you better then me or could tell me what the fuck to do. I'm a grown ass woman." She said as I just looked at her.

"You think I want to have to tell you what to do? YOU THINK I WANT HAVE TO RUN HOME AND STOP MY MOM AND DAD FROM KILLING EACH OTHER? CAUSE I DONT!" I yelled and next thing I know she slapped me.

"Don't ever talk to me like that ever again you disrespectful little bitch." She said bumping my shoulder as she walked out the living room leaving me there to clean up the mess her and my dad had made.
