"It's been a month Landon."

I watch him run a hand through his hair as he turns on a light in his hotel room.

"I know baby, I don't know how long it'll be." His deep voice says making me urge him more.

"You'll be here before graduation right ?" I ask hopefully.

"I told you I would." He says through the phone.

"I've gotta go now, I'll call you later." He says and hangs up on the phone.

I sigh and place my phone down and make my way into the cafe.

Landon and I have been either calling or Face timing each other, every couple of days.

Graduation was in a few weeks and so was Christmas, so New York was nearly drowning in snow.

I spot Eliot and Violet at our usual table.

I take a seat and immediately wrap my hands around the hot chocolate they ordered for me.

"So it's official." Violet says happily.

I smile brightly at her and clap my hands.

"Oh my god!" I say happily and hug her.

The guy she's been seeing for a while now finally asked her to be his girlfriend.

I could tell she felt deeply for this boy, and Violet never did fall for many guys at all, but this one was different.

Eliot and I met him at a party last week, he was a pretty nice guy even when Eliot was going all 'I'm a big football guy so I can beat you up', he stayed pretty chill.

The three of us talked and ranted to each other for hours, as time passed by we decided to leave.

Eliot dropped Violet and me home, and I decided to shower and make dinner.

Just before I plugged my phone in the charger my phone dinged and I looked down to see it was a message from Landon.

Landon

Call?

I smiled down at the phone and immediately pressed on FaceTime.

Landon's face comes into view as he seemed to be walking outside.

"Hi." I greet him.

"Hey, Love" Landon's deep voice says.

I smile at him as he looks down at me with his grey eyes.

"What are you doing?" I ask him as I make my way downstairs.

He shrugs and goes into his car.

"Just finished." That is all he says as he leans his head back against the seat.

"Finished what?" I ask him.

"You know what." He says rolling his eyes.

I laugh and take out some ice cream and grab a spoon.

I lean the phone against the tissue box as I sit down on the stool and dig into the Ice cream.

"You seem tired." I state as I take the spoon to my mouth and watch Landon's eyes close.

He hums in response and then opens his eyes and looks down at me.

Before I could ask him a question there was a knock on my door.

I frown thinking who it could be.

"Take the phone with you." Landon says as he sits up straight and stares at me.

I take the phone in my hand and start walking towards the front door.

I open it up and get faced with a Police Officer.

"Good evening, Miss Summers. My team and I are currently on a search for Mr Landon Malik. If you have seen him or heard for him anywhere, please let us know." He tells me sternly.

I discreetly put my phone behind my back as I answered him.

"Um no, I haven't heard or seen him anywhere," I tell him shifting on my feet.

"Okay, well please let us know if you do. Have a good night Miss."

He nods and turns away, and I shut the door immediately.

I take my phone from behind my back and turn the volume up.

"Did you hear that?" I ask him.

He nods his head but then rolls his eyes.

"It's not the police." He says clenching his jaw.

I stare at him confused.

"What?" I say questionably.

"The police work for me."  He states.

My eyes widen as I realised the situation.

"What did he look like?" Landon asks me.

"Um, he was pretty buff, I couldn't see his eyes because his hat covered them. He was tall and had a tattoo on his left arm."

Landon nods and signals someone with his hand from his car.

"Okay. I'll speak to you soon." He says as he ends the call.

I sigh and place my phone down on the counter and continue to eat my Ice cream.

It was now the day before graduation and I haven't heard from Landon since that night.

I've called and messaged him, but he hasn't responded or gotten back to me.

Andre and Dante haven't been seen for a while too.

I haven't really been able to focus on much either, I didn't know if Landon was okay or not.

I know I probably shouldn't, knowing who he is and all, but I can't help but think of the worst.

So here I was sitting in my god damn history class thinking about the boy I have possibly fallen in love with.

The bell rang and I packed my things away and walked out the doors heading towards the parking lot.

I spot Eliot and I walk over to his car.

"Hey," I greet them as I make it to him and Violet.

He pulls me in for a hug and so does Violet.

"What's the go for tomorrow?" Eliot asks as we all get in the car.

"I can pick you and Layla up, and we can go together to the ceremony," Violet says.

I nod my head in agreement and so does Eliot.

"Are your parents coming?" Violet asks me.

I sigh and shrug.

"I don't know, they said it depends on their flight." I told them.

"It's okay, my parents will be there. You know how much they love you." Eliot says grinning at me trying to cheer me up.

I laugh and nod my head in agreement.

"Yeah, I think they love me more than my own parents." I say honestly and Eliot shake his head and laughs quietly.

Once we dropped Violet home, Eliot made his way towards our houses.

"You heard anything from him?" Eliot asks me as he glances at me.

I shake my head and lean it against the door.

"Nope." I quietly say.

"What if he's hurt?" I ask worriedly.

Eliot puts his hand over mine and rubs it.

"He's going to be okay." Eliot says reassuring me.

Only if I could believe his words.

Eliot made it to my house and dropped me off before driving down to his own.

I made it inside and shut my door.

As I'm about to turn upstairs I see a white envelope lying on the ground near my door.

I rush over and grab it from the floor.

From the headquarters of Columbia University New York

Holy shit.

I tear it open and take the letter out.

Closing my eyes as I unfold the piece of paper in my hands.

I look down at the paper and Instantly scream as I see the first word.

Congratulations.

I jump up and down on my spot and dance around like a lunatic.

Once I calmed down, I read the rest of the paper and sighed as I couldn't believe I got in.

I ended up calling my parents and telling them that I got in, also texting Eliot and Violet too only to find out they had gotten in as well.

I couldn't be happier to be going to college with my two best friends.

I went to sleep a bit happier that night, but my mind still was filled with the thoughts of him.

It was now Graduation, I was standing and taking photos with Eliot and Violet.

"Aw, look how grown up you all are." Eliot's mother gushes at us as we part away.

I laugh and hug her before we walk over towards the seats.

Throughout the whole ceremony, I looked around the place for a sign of Landon.

Unfortunately, there was no Landon.

My mood suddenly dies at the thought of him not being here.

Once the ceremony was over we all decided to go to the cafe.

Matt and some others join us as we all walk into the cafe.

We all laugh and talk about school and the memories we all shared.

There were a few parties that were going to be held this weekend, but I honestly wasn't up for it.

Eliot drops me home after leaving the cafe.

I walk through the house and go up to my bedroom.

I open the door and kick my shoes off also placing my bag down.

As I turn to my bed I scream in fright as I see the one person I've been trying to get a hold of for weeks.

Landon.
