Sorry it's been taking so long you guys, school stuff. But, I go to a private school so I'm out a week earlier than everyone else. Hah!

I got up exhausted from the night before. I hadn't done anything, it was just so loud downstairs. My brother, Buck, owns a bar and it's right down stairs. I mean I know it was a party at a bar and all but still, they were really loud! I hardly got any sleep. I walked down the stairs hoping to find something to eat that was somewhat edible. I couldn't find anything but Buck walked down the stairs looking almost as tired as me.

"What, no girl?" I asked turning around to hide my smirk.

"Don't ask." He grumbled.

"Is there anything to eat?"

"Don't think so. Hey you know Dallas, right?"

"I think so. Doesn't he ride in rodeos?"

"Yah I need to talk to him about the next rodeo."

"Ok. And you're telling me because..." I was very lost as to why he was telling me this. Do I look like I care?"

"Well since you don't have anything to eat I figured you would go get something. While you're out I need you to go to the DX to find him."

"Why do I have to?"

"Because I don't want to, I was up all night."

"So was I! Your stupid party kept me up all night."

"To bad, in the oldest."

I stuck my tongue out at him then went upstairs to get dressed. I picked out a pair of Buck's old jeans he didn't wear anymore and a blue tank top. My hair is short and naturally curly so I just brushed it out. I walked downstairs and saw Buck.

"How do you know he's gonna be there?"

"He told me to get him there if I needed to talk about the rodeo. He's got some friends that work there, they might be able to help you."

"Gotcha." Before I knew it I was nearly there. I walked in and heard the bell ring above me head.

"Hello?"

"I'm here." I heard someone say. I turned around to see a very handsome guy walk out of the garage.

"Hey, how can I help you?" He asked politely.

"I was looking for someone. My brother sent me here looking for Dallas. He said if he wasn't here someone working here would know where to find him. Is he here?"

"No, who's your brother?"

"Buck." Whenever I told people he was my brother thy would get all nervous around me. Just cause I live in a bar doesn't mean I drink all the time, and even if I did that doesn't make me a bad person.

"I didn't know he had a sister."

"I never really come downstairs, I'm not really a social person most of the time."

"I don't drink so I wouldn't know you even if you did."

"Oh."

"Dally said he'd be coming by around noon. You can wait here if you want?"

"Sure, thanks."

"Anytime. My names Sodapop."

"Rose." I said while shaking his hand.

"So how old are you?"

"16. You?"

"15. I don't go to school though cause I dropped out."

"Really? That's ironic, I dropped out to."

"Well look at that, we already got something in common." I said smiling.

Sodapop grinned in return and we continued to talk till Dally showed up. Soda looked behind me and waved. I turned around and saw Dallas.

"Hey Dal. This is Buck's sister, he said he needed to talk to you about the next rodeo or something like that."

"Ok I'll go over there now. Not like there's anything better to do in this crummy old town." He walked out in the direction of the bar.

"Does it ever bother you?" He asked me.

"What?" I was confused about what he meant.

"Living in a bar."

"Sometimes. When it's late and I can't sleep it bothers me but other times it isn't so bad."

"Well you could always come over to my place if it's to loud at yours. Granted, mine isn't always very quiet either. But the couch is always open."

I laughed and looked at the clock.

"Is it that late already? The suns about to set."

"Well huh. Guess we just lost track of time. My shift ended five minuets ago."

"Sorry, I didn't mean to keep you waiting."

"I don't mind it, I had fun talking to you today."

"Me too." Neither of us moved to leave.

"It's getting kinda dark out, can I walk you home?"

I was freaking out on the inside. Over the past few hours I've developed a crush on him. I don't know how, it seems weird to me. I thought he was attractive from the beginning but now it's more.

"Yah, sure."

When we got to the bar I was sad to say goodbye.

"I had a fun time with you today."

"Me to. Maybe we could meet up again sometime?" Soda said.

"Id like that."

I didn't go inside, I just stood there looking at him. I hadn't realized how close our faces had gotten, but didn't move. I slowly leaned in and he met me in the middle. Our lips touched and I was a little nervous. I hadn't kissed a boy before and I wasn't really sure how, or if I was doing it right. I slowly pulled back since I needed to breath but I didn't go inside.

"Sorry Soda I-I don't know why I did that."

"Maybe it would help you if we did it again?" He asked with a smirk.

I laughed at his antics but kissed him again anyways. I put my hands on his shoulders and his hands were on my back. I was ok the first step leading up to the door so we were at the same height. He was so gentle, it was incredible. This time he pulled away first, but I didn't mind.

"Goodbye Soda." I turned to walk up the stairs and couldn't stop smiling!

"Rose! Uh I-" I turned around trying to hide my smile.

"I was wondering if you'd want to go on a date with me sometime?"

"I would love that." I leaned down and kissed him on the cheek before running back up and going inside. I looked out the window and sat him jumping up and down then ran down the street. I laughed and went upstairs through the crowd of people. I sat on my bed and couldn't stop smiling, thinking about my date with Sodapop.
