You were walking down the hallway at school when you reached your locker. You unfortunately got stuck with a bottom locker and hated having to squeeze through and under people to get your stuff. You sighed and decided to just carry everything with you. You got shoved and teased often but lately it had died down some. Some. You weren't entirely sure why but you figured it had something to do with your boyfriend, Darry Curtis. Though that didn't stop it all. The bell rang and you moaned. You were gonna be late for sure. The hallway cleared out mostly but still a few socs remained. You shyly and quickly walked past them, ignoring their laughs.
"Hey grease, come have some fun with us. Usually we ignore scum but your to fine to pass up."
A large hand roughly rapped around your arm and tugged you back, making all your extra books fall.
"Come with us, or else you'll regret it." One roughly whispered in your ear. You shuddered but tried to hide it. He dragged you down the hallway and around the corner. There you saw Darry with his arms crossed right in front of you. His eyes were on fire and he towered over everyone.
"And what do you think your doing?" His deep voice sent chills down your spin but you smiled knowing he would scare them off.
"Oh, uh we, we were just-"
"Hmm?"
"W-we were walking her to, to class is all." He let go of your arm and you rubbed the part that surely had a bruise.
"Her next class is in the other direction. So why don't you tell me what you were really planning to do, or else you'll regret it."
"That's all, promise."
"I see you messing with her and you'll have me to answer to."
He grabbed your other arm gently and held you protectively and gently. You put your arm around his back and smiled at them.
"Y-yes sir." They ran away like dogs with their tails between their legs. Once they left you let out a breath and started laughing.

"Since your laughing I'n guessing they didn't hurt you?"
"Yah I'm fine." You smiled up at him.
"Thanks to you." You muttered shyly and leaned closer to him.
He tightened his grip and kissed the top of your head.
"Anytime. I'd do anything for you, I love so much." Your breath hitched and you looked up at him. He had never said it before but you knew your response without a second thought.
"I love you to."
He was smiling before but now it grew ten times the size and he kissed you. Passionately. Realizing you shouldn't be kissing in the hallway when you were already late for class wasn't the best idea you pulled away but he wouldn't let you. He kissed you more deeply, if anything. He was still gentle with you, he always was. You smiled into the kiss but tried to pull away again when you heard a door open up. Darry must of heard it to sinner he pulled away but it was to late. You both heard a gasp and groaned. Fast footsteps were heard as a teacher squeezed in between the both of you.
"MAKE WAY FOR THE HOLY SPIRIT!!"
You both laughed louder than you meant to but the teacher didn't mind.
"Detention for skipping class and PDA." She shook her finger at the both of y'all, with a nod in return.
"Sorry ma'm."
"It's ok, this once. But don't let me catch you two at it again."
She left shaking her head muttering something inaudible. Darry looked at you and smiled sweetly. He grabbed your hand and gave you a short kiss before heading back to class.
"Your my hero Superman."
