It's been a busy couple of days here in Abu Dhabi. Max and I arrived on monday, as Max had lots of interviews. As I didn't have anything else to do, I travelled alongside him, to have a couple of extra days here in Abu Dhabi.

It's now Friday, which means two things ; first time Max and the other drivers will step into the car and Max's family is arriving. Jos is already here, but Sophie and Victoria are arriving today as well.

As Max has his first two practice sessions to get ready for, I offered to get them from the airport. It's now 9 A.M in the morning and Max has left for his training session. I am leaving in a couple of minutes to go to the airport.

Max and I got a rental car, just so we could do some stuff the last few days. As we're staying a bit longer here as usual, even after Sunday, we thought it'd be smart to have a car.

So I grab the keys of the car, get my stuff for the track and make sure my Red Bull shirt looks good. My hair is in a ponytail, as usual. I have my Adidas sneakers on, that I got from Max and Dan for my graduating party.

I arrive at the airport. I park the car and walk towards the arrival hall. Victoria had already texted me, saying they were almost ready. They were just waiting for their suitcases.

Not even 15 minutes later, I see the two of them walking towards me. I smile and give them both a hug.

"How was the flight?" I ask them, while we start walking towards the parking lot.

"It was actually really relaxed. No rough air, just a good flight" Sophie says, while smiling at me.

"That's good, Max and I had the same flying here. I loved how relaxing a fight can be when you don't have rough air" I say to them.

"Are we going straight to the track?" Victoria then asks, all excited. Who can blame her, she'll see her boyfriend.

"Yeah. I thought I'd be the best thing to do, as it takes a while to get back to the hotel and then again to the circuit. Besides, I think I have a briefing with Christian in an hour" I say to them. They both nod as we arrive at the car. I help them put their cases in the trunk and we make our way to the circuit.

Sophie, Victoria and I walk into Max's side of the garage 30 minutes later. The drive was good, not much traffic, so we are here quicker than expected.

Max is talking to Marcel and Roy about tyres and all that. He starts smiling when he sees me. Roy also turns around and immediately makes his way over to Victoria, hugging her tight. Max says hi to his mum as well. I then spot a figure in the back of the garage. My eyes light up and my smile widens.

"ROSE!" I yell, running over to her. She starts laughing and hugs me back. I haven't seen Rose for a long time, so it feels really good to finally see her.

"When did you arrive?" I ask her as we pull away from each other.

"Late last night. I would've come by, but Marcel said you'd already be asleep" Rose says. I nod, thinking about what Max and I did last night. It's good that she didn't come by, would've been kind of awkward.

"How long are you staying for?" I ask her, sitting down next to her.

"Until Marcel and you guys are leaving. I'm also staying here for the testing and stuff" she says, making me smile even more.

"That's amazing!" I say. Rose giggles as Marcel stands behind her, kissing her head. I feel a pair of arms sneaking their way around my waist, pressing my back against his chest. I look up and see Max smiling at me.

"How was training?" I ask him.

"Exhausting. I have a surprise for you, though" he says. I frown.

"But I have to be with Christian in about 5 minutes" I say, making him laugh. That makes me even more confused. He was the one that told me about the meeting.

"No, I just made that up" Max answers. I glare at him for that. I was worrying about why Christian would want to speak to me. We had already had our briefing yesterday.

"Don't glare at me, you're going to love it" Max says, kissing the top of my head.

"Girls!" he then yells. I frown and turn around, feeling my eyes widening when I see Max's surprise. I know that Rose is reacting the same, seeing as she knows the surprise as well.

Jacky and Megan are standing there, smiling at me. Rose and I both stand up, walking over to them. I haven't seen them in so long. They didn't even attend the party. Megan wants to start talking, but I interupt her.

"If you're going to apologize, I'm going to slap you" I say. She immediately closes her mouth, but throws her arms around me. I feel tears forming in my eyes. I had missed them so much. Jacky hugs Rose. I pull away from Megan, turning around to see Max smiling at us. I walk over to him, putting my arms around his neck. He puts his around my waist.

"Thank you" I whisper to him. He just tightens his grip on me. I remember us talking about me missing Jacky and Megan in Belgium. The sneaky bastard doing this for me.

"You're the best" I say to him, while looking up at him. He smiles, kissing my lips quickly.

"I love you" he says to me. I smile at him, kissing him once more.

"Show them around, I'll see you for practice" he says to me, letting me go. I nod and kiss his cheek, before turning to my girls. Rose and I talk about everything the girls need to know, while we show them parts of the garage, the pitwall, the paddock and the room where we always have lunch.

"Jassy!" I hear a voice yell. I turn around and see Daniel running towards me. I giggle and open my arms. Daniel hugs me tight, lifting me up from the ground. I giggle and kiss his cheek. Daniel then hugs Rose quickly, before to the other two girls. He smiles brightly at them.

"Hi, I'm Daniel" he says, holding out his hand. The girls shake it and smile at him.

"I'm Jacky"

"And I'm Megan" they both say, introducting themselves.

"Ah! The other friend these two can't shut up about" Daniel says with a big grin on his face. I shake my head and so does Rose.

"I have to go, but hope to see you later!" Daniel says, kissing my cheek and waving to the other girls. We just continue walking around, showing Jacky and Megan everything.

It's now almost time for the first practice session. Rose, Jacky and Megan are all standing with me. Rose is explaining everything to them, so I can concentrate on the things I have to do. Christian is next to me as he introduced himself to my friends. The girls are all wearing headphones, so I can hear Rose talking to Jacky and Megan. They ask some questions, and Rose mostly just answers with 'you'll see when Max is out there'.

A few minutes later, the practice has started and a few cars are on track. Max not being one of them yet.

"Can you say when Max is driving past us?" Jacky asks me. I nod.

"He is easily recognizeable. His onboard camera is yellow and he has a orange helmut, but I'll tell you, just in case" they both nod.

10 minutes later, Max drives past and I point at him.

"That's Max" I then turn to the monitors, checking everything as he is doing the outlap.

"If you want, you can do a time lap, everything seems fine" I tell Max. Normally, drivers get back to the garage after an outlap, but if everything seems fine, they do a flying lap.

"Let's do it then" Max replies. I smile as his timer starts. He does fine, not locking up or anything. He sets a decent time, putting himself on P1, as he is the first one setting a time. Daniel sets a time as well, being slower than Max. I smile at that and look at Femke, who is shaking her head at me.

"What just happened?" Megan asks, confused about the looks Femke and I are giving each other.

"There is always a competition going on between Daniel and Max, they both want to be faster than the other. Femke is Daniel's communicator, so when Max was quicker, I just laughed at her" I tell Megan. Femke shakes her head once more.

"Dan, please kick Max's ass" she tells her driver, making me laugh.

"You're faster than Dan, Max" I tell Max. Femke laughs at something Daniel said, and I raise my eyebrow.

"He said that I shoul kick your ass and see how Max does without you" Femke tells me. I grab her headset from her, so I can say something to Daniel.

"I just kicked Femke her ass, see how you do without her" I tell him.

"What?" Daniel replies, making me laugh. I hand Femke her headset back and she just tells Daniel that she's fine.

This goes on for the entire practice, Max eventually being the faster Red Bull when the practice ends. I smile at Femke and she shakes her head once more. We both take our headset off as the bulls are in the garage. I take the girls back there as well.

Had a bit of a time jump! I sometimes feel sad during writing, knowing that this story is not going on for much longer! This is kind of my baby, so I don't want it to end :(
