I open the hotel door for Victoria and me. She just walks very, very slowly. Max looks up from the position he has on the bed. He frown when he sees Victoria looking the way she does. He immediately sits up as I close the door.

Victoria sits down in the couch as I join her. Max walks over as well and kisses my cheek, before sitting down. He looks confused, switching glances between me and Victoria.

Victoria is making no move to talk, so I do, hoping to push her.

"So Victoria has something to tell you" I say to Max as I grab Victoria's hand. She finally looks up to Max as he smiles at her. She sighs deeply, before she starts talking.

"There is someone I really like and I'm not sure how you feel about it" she says. It's smart of her to start like this, seeing how Max reacts to a random boy being in her life, before he leans it's actually one of his engineers.

"Vic, just because I'm your older brother does not mean I don't want you dating boys" Max says simply. I smile at how sweet he always is towards Victoria. A frown soon follows, as I realize she now has to say it is Roy.

"Okay, but how would you feel if I said that he is here as well? And if I said that I kissed him last night" Victoria says, looking down again. I can see Max frowning, but he doesn't really react.

"Who is it then?" He asks, sounding calm. Victoria looks up to me, a scared look in her eyes. I just squeeze her hand, hoping that it'll help her, knowing that I'm here for her.

"Roy" Victoria whispers. Max frown once again.

"Roy?" he asks her. Victoria just nods, desperatly trying to look anywhere but at Max. I can hear Max sigh.

"You kissed Roy last night?" He asks, for confirmation that he understands. Victoria sighs and nods again. I can't imagine how hard this must be for her.

I am trying to read Max's expression, but I can't. I have no idea what he thinks or even how he is feeling. He looks up to Victoria. I can see him struggling with his thoughts.

"Please don't get mad, Max. I don't even know if he likes me. It just happened and if you don'g want me too, it won't happen again" Victoria says, her voice shaky. I put an arm around her, trying to calm her down.

"I've had a feeling he liked you" Max answers his sister. She looks at him with a confused look on her face.

"Look, I won't try and forbid you from seeing him. I do want to talk to him as well, though. I'll go do that right away, so just stay here" Max says. He kisses my cheek before he walks away. Victoria sigh loud when the door closes.

Max's POV

I knock on Roy's hotel door. I have to admit, I had seen this coming. I'm not an idiot. I've seen the way those two look at each other. I've seen the looks Roy gives Victoria and I've seen her staring at him.

The door opens and Roy's smiles fades slightly when he sees me, probably knowing why I'm here.

"Can I come in?" I ask him. He nods and steps aside, letting me in. I move to the couch, sitting down. Roy sits a bit away from me and looks slightly confused.

"I need to know what your intentions with me sister are" I tell him, hoping to not sound like to much of a dick. Roy leads out a breath, before he starts talking.

"Truth is, I really like her Max. There are no other intentions than trying to make her happy. That is if you let me. I know it must be weird for you and I'm sorry it did happen, but I can't help myself. You have an amazing sister that I want to be with" Roy answers. God damnit, I knew I liked him for a reason. I sigh and nod at him.

"Look, I'm her big brother and I always will protect her. So I'm only going to say this once" I start. Roy looks nervous.

"If you ever hurt her, I'll drive you over with my car, at full speed. Imagina Eau Rouge, and you under my car" I say. Roy's eyes widen, but he soon nods.

"I won't hurt her, I promise" Roy says. I nod at him and smile. I know he is a good guy. I also know he won't hurt her.

"Does this mean I can ask her out?" Roy asks me, still not sure about the whole thing. I chuckle and nod at him. His smile grows wide.

"Should I tell her that she had a date tonight?" Roy nods with a big smile.

"Thank you, Max!" He says and bro hugs me. I shake my head while lightly laughing. I say bye to him and make my way over to our room.

Jasmin'a POV

The hotel door opens again. I feel Victoria tensing up beside me, knowing it's Max. He walks in and looks at Victoria, her looking back at him. I can tell by the way he is looking that she has nothing to be affraid off.

"So I ended up threatening him" Max says. Both Victoria and my eyes widen. Max chuckles at our reaction.

"But it all worked out, so don't worry" Max says. Victoria lets out a shaky breath. She stands up, walking over to Max and hugging him. He smiles while he hugs her back. I'm glad it all worked out.

"By the way, you have a date tonight. He'll pick you up at 7" Max then says. Victoria's eyes widen once again. She turns to me and hugs me, before running out of the hotel room. I giggle at the sudden change in her mood.

Max lets himself fall onto the couch beside me. It's then that I feel the pain in my stomach returning. I lean a bit forward, placing to hands on my stomach. Before I know it, my hands are moved out of the way and Max's are placed on there. He pulls me closer, until I feel my back hitting his chest. He rubs small circles on my stomach.

I instantly relax under his touch. It's scary to know what just his touch can do to me.

"Should I get the chocolate?" Max asks me. I giggle slightly and lean into him further. I don't want him to move now, although the mention of chocolate does sound appealing.

"Not now, just keep doing this" I tell him and let out a sigh. He tightens his arms around me, continuing what he's doing.

"I love you" he whispers into my ear. I can't help but smile at that. Three words, that sounds simply. But he makes it sound so much more than that. He gives it a special meaning.

"I love you too" I reply. As much as we've been through, I'm proud to say that we're still the same as we were. If anything, we just loved each other more. It makes me happy, knowing I'll work with him for a few more races and another season next year.

Soon enough, I feel my eyes start to get heavy. I try to fight the tiredness, but listening to Max's steady breathing and feeling his heartbeat against my back, I can't help but fall asleep in his arms.
