Max turned out Driver of the Day, which he was excited about. He kept smiling the whole way to the hotel and then to the airport. We both flew back home that night. We have to be at Silverstone, UK on thursday. I have a lot to discuss with my school.

I'm sat outside of the office of my principal. It's only for 3 races, than I graduate.
My mum and dad are here as well. My phone buzzes.

Max <3 : let me know how it goes.. :)

I put my phone away and the principal lets us in his office. We three sit down.

"Okay, so all I know is that for three weeks, you need thursday and friday off. The rest you can tell me and then most importantly the why" he says. I nod and just tell him.

"So, I have been dating Formula 1 driver Max Verstappen for a month now, and last weekend I went with him to Austria for his race. One of his team members was fired and his boss wanted me to try out for that position. It all went great and they offered me the job, which means I have to be at the Grand Prix as official part of the Red Bull Racing Team and I know this all sounds crazy, but I have the staff pass here with me, to prove it" I say and take the pass out and show it to Mr White. My name is on it along with the Red Bull Racing logo and all. Also VES is on the pass, showing I'm part of his team. Mr White just stares at it.

"You're working for Red Bull Racing now?" he just asks. I nod.

"Yeah and for the rest of the school year, which is only 3 races, I have to be there"

"And when are those?"

"This weekend, so the 7th and 8th, then the 21st and 22nd and 28th and 29th"

"Where are the races?" I don't understand why he would ask this, but I tell him anyway.

"Silverstone in the UK, Hongary and Germany" I say. Mr White nods.

"How are your grades?"

"Good, I can even get the lowest grade possible and I'd still graduate" I tell him. He nods and looks for himself in the computer. It's true though.

"Okay, well. I think you can have those days off. I'll make sure teachers give you everything you need, but it can't be much. I'm actually proud to say someone from our school works for Red Bull" he says. I smile really bright.

"Thank you so much, sir" I say. My parents thank him as well and I don't even know why they had to be there. I am reminded when they also have to sign some things, giving permission, even though I'm old enough.

I say goodbye to my parents as I still have some classes to go to.

"Jas!" I turn around and I'm attacked by Rose.

"Rose!" I yell back. I hug her tight.

"I need details about everything going on with you!" she says. I giggle and we sit down at a table. Rose and I both chose French and Megan and Jacky German, so they're in class and we're not.

"Okay, so the biggest news, I have with me" I say. I grab the pass again and show her. Her eyes widen.

"Red Bull Racing, as in Max's team?" she asks. I nod.

"VES as in Max Verstappen?" again, I nod.

"Staff as in you work for him now?!" she now almost yells. I giggle and nod once again.

"That is amazing! But what do you do?" she asks.

"I am his information source. When he is in the car and on the track, I tell him lap times, when he has to box, when he has to push, who is behind him, who is in front of him, at what position he is, how far behind he is or how far behind someone is, those things" I tell her. Rose nods and tries to understand.

"So that means you get to go to every race?" she asks.

"Yeah, there are three left in this half of the season" I say. She nods.

"Do you like, get to bring people?" she asks, eyes lighting up. I giggle.

"I can always try. These days I have Christian Horner's number in my phone. He is the boss of Red Bull Racing" Rose's eyes widen once again.

"He told me I could text him whenever I needed something, so if you want to come to a race, I can try to manage that" I say.

"Could you?! That'd be great" she says. I nod and grab my phone out of my bag. I open a text to Christian.

Hello, it's Jasmin Hall. I was wondering if I could bring a friend this weekend ? If not, I completely understand. Hope to hear from you soon. -Jasmin

I send the text and hope for the best. Rose and I walk to class, but I can't really concentrate. How amazing would it be if Rose could come. She could finally meet Max and some other drivers. I could show her around and show her the garage and my work place. My new work place. My phone buzzes and the teacher doesn't notice, so I quickly check it.

Hello Jasmin. Yes, you could! You're allowed to always take one person (as that person can always sleep in your room and it doesn't costs us anything). I'll make sure that we book a bigger room, so she can sleep with you and Max in a room. If you ever want to take 2 or more people (like your parents) than give me a notice. I'll make sure there will be a plane ticket ready and a VIP pass. Can I have her full name please ? -Christian

I smile and nudge Rose, who is next to me. I show her the text and her eyes widen. She wants to squeal, but she can't.

I giggle and put my phone away. 10 minutes later, the bell rings and we're off to lunch. Rose finally gets to scream, yell and be excited. I decide to text Max.

Me : hey!

Me : principal agreed! it's official, team mate ;)

Max <3 : i'm so happy!

Me : me too!!

Max <3 : how's school ? :(

Me : kind of better than I thought. i have a surprise!

Max <3 : is it a surprise that I can know now or ????

Me : I am taking Rose this weekend :D

Max <3 : awesome! can't wait to meet her ;)

Me : she can't wait to meet you either

Max <3 : i can imagine ;)

Me : dick...

Me : i have classes, i'll talk to you later ! xxxx

I put my phone away and look at Rose, who is smiling like an idiot. Megan and Jacky join us and they frown when they look at Rose.

"What's up with that idiot?" Megan asks.

"I'm taking her to Silverstone this weekend" I tell them. They both widen their eyes. Right. They don't know yet.

"You're going?" Jacky asks. Then Rose unfreezes.

"She's in the fucking Red Bull Racing team! She's a freaking staff member" Rose says. Both Megan and Jacky stare at me, eyes wide, mouth hanging open.

"Yeah, that might be true" I start and tell the whole story again.
