Extremely short chapter, but I'm stuck on a road block in the middle of this story. The rest is finished I just have to get these next few parts together!

Enjoy!

To her surprise Monday afternoon after he second class Bambi was met by Nate leaning against her car.

"Hi" she said sounding as if she was asking a question.

"So happy you're excited to see me" Nate said sarcastically.

"My bad I'm just shocked; how did you even find my car?" She switched her books from one arm to the other and looked up at him.

"coincidence and I remember you telling me your Monday schedule so" he shrugged.

"Your memory is A1 but anyways how can I help you?"

"I'm hungry" he said nonchalantly.

"Nate I'm not going back to the Waffle House, I don't even like breakfast food like that" he looked genuinely disappointed.

"Okay let's get wing stop, everybody likes chicken"

"That's sounds good but why do you want to hang out with me"

"I like looking at you" Nate said with a shrug like that was something normal to say.

"that's weird but whatever you're driving"

"you got gas money?"

The look she gave him was priceless and Nate burst out laughing "I was playing damn, come on."

Bambi put her books into her car before following Nate over to his black red challenger which was parked not too far from her.

"Look at you big money" Bambi walked around the car looking at the paint job and rims.

"Just slight work"

"slight work my ass" Bambi got into the car and watched as Nate started it up. Usually she would have had a real problem with a nigga not opening the door but for some reason she didn't even think twice about it with Nate.

"I'm surprised you didn't slice a nigga throat for not opening the door" he looked over at her as they pulled out of the student parking lot.

"I didn't even think about it"

"well you should, any nigga you encounter needs to open every door for you. I should have done it" Bambi had to look at him twice.

She was not used to this. The only door Flip would ever open was his bedroom door.

"Look at you being all chivalrous"

"Only when I want to" they locked eyes for a brief second and Bambi was blushing like a little girl.

It took about fifteen minutes for them to reach Wingstop, they ordered and took a seat next to the window. They stayed there for nearly three hours talking, long after they finished their wings.

Bambi had put a little extra into her appearance on Wednesday morning, she wasn't really dressed up but she looked much better than she had the rest of the week.

Taking Bria's advice, she was going to attempt to ask Nate to come bowling. She had been nervous the entire morning and it didn't get any better when she walked into class. She looked around and saw that he hadn't showed up yet, which eased the nerves just a little.

Bambi thought that the time they had spent on Monday and the hours long phone  conversation on Tuesday would help but it didn't.

She took the seat the first seat in the class which was usually his.

"No respect" she heard making her look up from her phone. Bambi laughed and watched him take the seat next to her.

"You mad?"

"hell yeah that's Nate seat, the whole class knows that" Bambi laughed until tears came to her eyes. He looked so serious.

"You wanna switch?"

"No the shit gone be all warm now" she laughed once again. Professor Wright walked in wearing a pair of joggers, a hoodie and Jordans.

"He play too much with his fine ass" the girl behind Bambi said.

"Hell yeah" another girl added.

"You lusting over him too?" Nate asked.

"Not really, I mean he's cute but I think he likes the attention"

"you be lusting over me?" he smirked.

"Nate don't flatter yourself baby"

"shit you aint gotta lie I been fantasizing about your ass since I saw you" he said making Bambi rolled her eyes.

"You're lying"

"but I'm not though" Bambi didn't even look at him knowing he would only make her melt. Instead she put her attention on Professor Wright.

"You look good" Nate complimented as they walked out of the classroom. She was a little ahead of him so she had her suspicions on why he said she looked good.

"Thanks, you have class after this?"

He nodded "yeah in like five minutes"

Bambi nodded and scratched her head as she rocked back and forth on her heals. Nate stared at her as a smile came to his face, it was obvious she was nervous about something.

"You tryna ask me something Bambi" he folded his arms across his chest and leaned against the wall.

"Well, Bria and I were going ummm" she couldn't even get it out "Never mind I'll see you Nate" she quickly turned and walked away.

"Bambi" Nate called out after her not moving from his spot.

"Yeah" she turned around.

"Whatever it is the answer is yes" she tried not to smile so hard but she couldn't help it.

"So I'll see you at the bowling alley on Saturday?"

"yep, was it that hard"

"it sure was. I'll let you know the time"

"see you" she waved and exited the building. Bambi damn near broke out into a skip as she left the building.

"He said yes" she yelled as she approached Bria.

"I knew he would"

"I'm on ten bitch" Bambi began to dance.

"It's not even a real date" Bria said shutting Bambi down.

"Hater" was all Bambi said as she began to walk towards the parking lot.

"You mad?" She heard Bria yell, and the only response she received was a middle finger.
