"Steven, Steven, Steven!" I yelled as I ran in the basement and I saw him drinking a soda in his white chair, watching sports.

"What, hun?" Hyde asked, looking over at me.

"Okay, I have good news and bad news. Which one first?" I asked.

"Always start with bad, so bad." Hyde nodded.

"Midge left Bob!" I exclaimed, Hyde pulling me on his lap.

"What? Are you sure?" Hyde scrunched his eyebrows.

"Yeah! I heard from Kitty that she said she's not coming back." I explained.

"Wow- I mean... wow." Hyde said.

"Anyways, good news, I'm pregnant!" I smiled.

"What?" Hyde asked and immediately sat up straight.

"I'm kidding!" I laughed and slapped my knee.

"Oh my god, don't scare me like that." Hyde put a hand to his chest.

"So Midge just, took off?" Kelso asked.

"Ah, poor Donna." Fez shook his head.

"Yeah, this is really bad." Eric sighed.

"Yeah, not only did Donna lose her mom we all lost Midge's sweet, uptown rack." Hyde said as I looked at him warningly.

"Oh, good God, man, what a marvelous set of kittens," Fez nodded his head lightly, "Remember that sweater?"

"Oh, remember that other sweater?" Kelso added.

"Yeah. Remember that time she ran up to us in a sweater?" Eric asked.

"Remember the week she took up jump rope? In a sweater?" Hyde smirked as I rolled my eyes and huffed.

The boys all thought for a long time.

"You guys are pigs!" I yelled as they still thought and Kitty walked downstairs.

"Eric!" Kitty yelled and they snapped out of their daze, "What are you guys thinking about so hard?"

"They're disgusting." I said and walked out of the basement and went over to my house.

I opened the door to my home and saw my mom sitting at the table in the kitchen. I sighed as I grabbed an apple and took a bite of it.

"So, Penny, I got your report card in the mail today. Now, can you explain to me why you got 2 F's?" My mom tapped her foot, putting down the newspaper.

"Oh, um, I've been distracted." I said and pulled the stem off of the apple by twisting it repeatedly.

"By what, exactly?" My mom asked another question and sighed out.

"Well, I hang out with Steven-"

"That's it! Your boyfriend is a bad influence. He's not even aloud in our house! And for good reasons! He probably does drugs and goes out partying every weekend and I don't need you to plummet and go sinking into the ground because of that boy." My mom lectured me.

"Mom! I'm fine. I'll take my work seriously." I said and sighed.

"Yes, you will, because you have to breakup with him."

~~~~
"How could it break? It is invincible." Fez said as I opened the door to the basement and stomped over to Hyde before dragging him outside.
"What?" Hyde asked.
"We need to breakup." I looked at the ground.
"What do you mean? We're doing good right now, at least I thought. Did I miss something?" Hyde asked and held one of my hands but I flinched and pulled it back.
"I-I need to focus more on homework and not relationships. I'm sorry, Steven. I really am, but if I continue to fail I have to go to a new school." I frowned as a tear slid down my cheek.
"Honey, we don't have to do this." Hyde said, touching my cheek but I swatted it away.
"Yes, we do, Steven. I'm sorry." I said as tears streamed down my face and I ran home.
~~~~

"You guys are through?" Jackie asked, raising an eyebrow in disbelief.

"Yeah. My mom found out I had 2 F's and blamed it on Steven so she told me I had to break up with him." I explained and sighed while laying in my bed.

Jackie laid next to me, "Wow, that's harsh. But you guys are like, perfect for each other."

"Yeah, well my parents don't think so." I rolled my eyes.

"It shouldn't matter what your parents think." Jackie pointed out.

"I know, but I kinda have to listen to them." I shook my head while examining my nails.

"Yeah I get that. Did you tell Steven your parents told you to?" Jackie asked, smoothing out her blouse.

"No, I know he would've said 'screw them' but I can't lie to my parents and disrespect them. But, now Steven is gonna think I'm weird because I dumped him to do homework." I groaned.

"Oh, it's not weird. I understand, you wanna respect your parents and you're doing the right thing." Jackie nodded, looking over at me.

"Thanks, Jackie, you're the biggest help right now. I can't thank you enough." I smiled.

"Anytime, after all, what are friends for?" Jackie smiled brightly.

"I'm glad we've become friends again." I continued to smile and stare at my ceiling.

"Me too." Jackie returned her gaze to the ceiling as well.

*a week later*

Steven and I haven't spoke a single word to each other. Word not only spread to the gang quickly, but to the school. I talked to a few new people in school who were actually really nice. Most of them were either cheerleaders or dancers and that brought me back to my old days(when I lived in California) when I danced. I was in Ballet and I was still good at it.
