We just got back from Jackie's graduation ceremony. Damn, it's really been a year since we graduated. That also means I need to find my purpose in life.
"I'm so glad I graduated high school," Jackie sighed out, "You know, it is such a relief to finally know everything."
Oh, Jackie, you don't know everything yet
"I can't believe I graduated a year ago." Eric said.
"I know, now I need to go to college or something." I frowned.
"I feel like I've done nothing," Eric looked at me and I nodded at him, "Man, time really flies when you take two naps a day."
"Well, I mean, I wouldn't say you've done nothing. I mean, you've...." Donna trails off as she thinks of what Eric has done, which is nothing, "Wow, you've really sat on your ass."
"Yep, Forman, we've all passed you by. I'm running a record store, Donna's a DJ, Penny's starting a family, Kelso's a cop. Even Fez has a job now. What is it again, man? Shower girl? Makeup lady?" Hyde slaps Fez's shoulder.
"Shampoo boy!" Fez exclaims.
"Yeah, I was close." Hyde said and walked off. I sat in a chair as Kelso sat on the floor in front of me. I played with his hair.
We've been kind of distant lately, but I honestly don't know if Michael thinks anything of it. I mean, maybe he just thinks it's the hormones or something. I don't know.
The group talks randomly, mainly about how Eric is now the so-called loser of the group. They imagine how he will be like in 10 years. Eric starts to freak out and he runs upstairs. We all chuckled together.
~~
"So, you got anything yet?" Steven asked me as he sneaked up to the kitchen.
"No, I have my next appointment in another week or so. Then Kitty said it'll be most accurate." I told him and he nodded.
"I just don't want you to be really scared about this." Hyde shook his head.
"Steven, how can I not be scared? If it's yours, how am I going to tell Michael? It would break his heart." I groaned as I covered my face.
"It'll be okay, Kelso will be fine." Hyde shook his head.
"And then if it's not yours, things are good, right?" I questioned him and he shrugged.
"Yeah, I guess." Hyde said.
"Well, the baby is gonna be a summer baby." I smiled as Hyde did too. I can tell he enjoys the thought of possibly being a dad.
"Well, do you have a plan for college?" Hyde asked and I shrugged slightly.
"I don't know. I want to go to UW but Michael is buying an apartment here and then I'd have to buy an apartment in Madison. Which Michael won't want me to move to Madison due to crime and he wants to see the baby." I explained to him and he nodded.
"Do you have anything you wanna do?" Hyde asked me.
"I'm thinking an elementary school teacher. But who knows." I shrugged slightly.
"You'd be a great teacher." Hyde smiled before walking out.
~~
Jackie walked into my room and smiled, "Hey, I just wanted to remind you about my graduation dinner party tomorrow night. It starts at 6:00 with a champagne toast."
"Ok, Michael and I will be there. Obviously I want have any champagne." I chuckled and so did Jackie.
"So, hows the...baby?" Jackie asked.
"Good. It's good. Kicking a lot. It's like this baby wants out already. It's making me stay in bed a lot more than I did before." I laughed as Jackie nodded.
"Yeah, well, I suppose I should go inform the rest of the gang about my dinner party. I'll see you there." Jackie smiled at me and walked out.
~~
"How was apartment hunting?" I asked Kelso as he walked in my room and then proceeded to flop on my bed, face first.
"Horrible." Kelso pouted.
"Aww, why?" I asked him.
"We found a good apartment, but Fez has a feud with the landlord." Kelso explained and I nodded.
"Ahh, I see. But I'm sure there will be better apartments out there." I told him and he smiled at me lightly.
"Are you really planning to go to UW?" Kelso looked over at me sadly.
"Yeah, I think it's what's best for me and my future." I nodded and Kelso sighed out.
"I know, but what about the baby? I won't be able to see it." Kelso frowned.
"I'll come home every weekend with the baby, don't worry." I smiled lightly at him and caressed his face.
"Okay." Kelso smiled lightly as well.
"Okay."
~~
I was sitting in the basement with Eric, Hyde, and crooked neck Donna. Poor Eric tried his chiropractor moves on her and now her head is tilted.
"How you doing, my little buttercup?" Eric asked as he got a grape popsicle.
"Great," Donna smiles sarcastically and turns her body to look at him, "The Brady Bunch is so much funnier sideways."
Jackie comes in and immediately starts talking, like always, "Okay, so, at my party tonight, I want everyone to give heartfelt speeches about me, okay? So here they are."
Jackie hands out notecards and I sigh, scanning over mine. I scrunch my face at the words, "been my best friend since I came from the crazy land in California.".
"I don't think I can make it to your party." Donna says slowly.
"Wait, but, Donna, you have to." Jackie says.
"I'm afraid I'm out, too. I gotta tend to my crooked little flower here." Eric explains.
"You know, Eric, calling me cute little nicknames doesn't make up for what you did." Donna says and stands up.
"Okay, hey, whatever you say, my little crazy straw." Eric says and follows her out of the basement.
They leave and Jackie looks at me, "Can you come, at least?"
"I can try. Just as long as the baby growing in my stomach stops kicking me every damn minute." I said as I sighed out.
"Okay, well, at least that's a maybe." Jackie smiles.
"And I know Kelso is coming I think. Unless if he's still apartment searching." I shrugged and Jackie nodded.
"Okay, another maybe," Jackie breathes out as she paces behind the couch, "I can't believe, like, everyone bailed out on me. Tonight is really important to me."
She sits down by Hyde and he looks unenthusiastic, "Jackie, you look like you really need to talk this through, huh? I'll go get Mrs. Forman."
"Steven." I scold him and he just shrugs before going upstairs.
Jackie just flips through the speech cards and I lean back in my chair.
~~
I made Kelso go to Jackie's party with me. I knew none of the gang was coming, and for some reason Hyde wasn't coming either. Kelso and Fez got the apartment and got home a tad early, so he just work a nice dress shirt and some jeans. I just wore a long dress.
The party wasn't all that interesting, and Jackie seemed to be down that no one else came. Kelso and I tried cheering her up a bit, which kind of worked. She decided after her party, she would go see what the gang was doing. She suspected they weren't actually all that busy. Kelso and I just went to my house and listened to random records.
I played some Queen and Kelso was randomly dancing to it. I just smiled at him. I felt a pit in my stomach because in a week, I'd find out if the baby was Hyde's or Kelso's.

I have my pros and cons of each, it's just decision making. I think I have almost a pretty solid answer, but that's a secret!
Love you all! Thanks for the support as always!!!
(Also I'm sorry for slow updating. I've been working a lot and taking care of my piggies!)
