It seems like December came way too soon. With it all these holidays, but also winter break. Finally after all that studying we have a few weeks to spend the way we like. And we'll spend them together, at my house.

Trevor, Elliot and I visited April and Lisa a few more times since the first time and we even went to Elliot's place. When we were at Trevor's the topic of Christmas came up and at the end we decided to all gather and spend it together. The three of us, April, Lisa and my mom.

When we went to Elliot's his parents weren't home, so we hung out with his sister, who by the way is one of the coolest people I've met. She's super nice and unlike Elliot she's more mature. She knows when to have fun and when to be serious. That's why we decided to invite her to spend Christmas with us too. It would've been even better if their parents could come too but apparently they're out of the country for work and won't be back for the holidays. But Emilia was more than happy to come at my house.

Today is the first day of winter break and the three of us are heading to my house. We'll stay there all throughout the break, while the others come only for Christmas Eve. We pack everything we'll need and woth excitement we hop on the bus. My house is a little bit further than theirs but my mom volunteered to pick us up halfway so we don't need to ride busses all day.

"Hello Rene." Elliot greets my mom first when we sit in her car. She ignores him for a bit to give me a peck on the cheek and looks at the two boys through the rearview mirror.

"Hey boys. You look cold. Should I turn the heater on?"

"Mmm, yes, if you don't mind." Trevor says as he touches his cold cheeks.

"How have you been? Anything new?" My mom asks. We weren't able to see her at all these last few months due to her being too busy with work and I haven't had the chance to tell her about Trevor and I. Last I saw her was the week when I first met Trevor's moms. I didn't want to tell her through text or call, it was better to wait to tell her in person. And now the time came.

"I don't know if the timing is right and I don't wanna wait until we get home, so I'll just tell you now." Just get it over with Ash. Take a deep breath and...

"Trevor and I are in a relationship." I rush out. I glance at her and am happy to see her smiling from ear to ear.

"I'm driving now Ash and I can't start jumping, but if I could I'd do that. I'm so so so happy for you." She reaches over and squeezes my hand.

"How long have you been dating?"

"Umm, well, since September." Trevor says and I nod.

"Oh wow. Why didn't you tell me on the phone?"

"Well, I didn't want to break the news like that." I awkwardly scratch my head.

"It's alright. As long as you've been happy and you tell me now I'm glad. Some kids don't tell their moms anything." Well mom I haven't told you things in the past either. But I want to change that and be open with you.

"We'll talk more when we arrive home. We'll tell you everything that happened at school." I promise you that at least.

My house isn't anything like Trevor's or Elliot's. It's far more smaller, extremely simple, on one story and the front and back yard are as small as they come. My family has never been too financially stable, but my mom makes sure my life is the best she can offer. I love her for that and I'll be forever grateful she gives her all for me. I'm the only one she has left and she's always showered me with all her love. One day, when I have a life on my own I can promise that I'll repay her for all she's done.

We enter the house and I tell the guys to follow me to my room to leave our luggage.

"It looks just like I expected." Trevor says, looking around my room. It's nothing special. Just a single bed in the middle, a desk, wardrobe and a window next to it. The walls are white and blue, all plastered with posters of all kinds. The desk is still as messy as I left it, but I see the bed has fresh sheets.

"You have a lot of posters." Elliot looks at them on the walls and read the writing on some of them.

"Some of them I made myself. The ones with writing."

"Damn Ash. This is good." He says.

"Are all of these board games?" Trevor asks from his kneeling position next to my desk.

"Yeah. My mom loves those so she bought one whenever she could and we played a lot." It was sort of a tradition to play one on every holiday and/or birthday party. She made me like playing them too.

"We have to play one on Christmas then. Bring back the tradition to life." He says as he stands up.

"We will. We'll do anything you like."

We spent the couple of days before Christmas in going around the neighborhood, me telling them stories about my childhood and my mom showing them pictures. We laughed and had a good time in the Christmas spirit.

When the day before Christmas came Emilia did too. We told her directions and she easily found my house. Together with her, on the same day the first snow of the year fell and it was Elliot's bright idea for all of us to go and play. My mom even joined us. We didn't care that night came and it was colder, we had snow fights and made cheery memories. The snow kept falling all night and filled the spots we emptied. My mom left us to make dinner and we decided to make a little competition, the siblings versus the boyfriends. We hid away and attacked when we'd see a player of the opposite team and at the end the mischievous and sneaky twins beat us. But the winning didn't matter because we laughed and had the most fun ever. Ever since I met this bunch I haven't had a dull moment. They brought back all the happiness I needed in my life.

On Christmas morning we were awoken by the arrival of April and Lisa. Unsurprisingly my mom got along with them amazingly, they made cookies and cakes and lots of delicious food for us to enjoy later on in the night. Of course as Trevor promised we played board games and  my mom and I won round after round without sparing and mercy to the others.

"Ayyy, this must be jigged. There is no way in the world you win every time." Elliot had enough of the losing and started whining. His sister openly laughed in his face even though she lost too, just in spite of him.

"You're my sister, defend me!"

"Nah, I'm enjoying it more when you whine like a baby." She giggles.

"Sibling rivalry. It never gets old." My mom says towards April and Lisa as they all laugh and start a conversation of their own.

"Hey guys. I have presents to give you." Trevor unexpectedly announces.

"What? Are you serious? I do too." Elliot chimes in.

"Me too..." I say with a surprised look on my face.

"Oh don't worry, I bought you something too." Emilia states proudly.

"Mom, don't tell me you do too?" I ask.

"The present from us moms is the dinner. And all the sweet treats of course." Lisa tells us.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's go open them up." Elliot motions with his hands for us to move. We all take the presents from our hiding places and gather in the living room.

Our moms are sat down at the side and us, the kids, are all on the ground next to the small Christmas tree.

"I wanna start." Emilia says. She hands all of us our presents and we tear them open.

"Emilia! Yes, thank you!" Elliot yells and hugs his sister. He has a soft and fluffy looking gray blanket in his hands. "I mentioned I liked yours and you bought me one too, if that isn't goals..." He ruffles her hair.

"Thanks Emilia. How did you manage to get this?" Trevor says pointing to the autographed picture of a basketball player that he mentioned he loved, but I forgot his name. Sue me, I can't remember all the names of those guys he tells me.

I haven't even fully opened mine being too caught up with the others'. I take the present out of the little bag and see that it's 5 metal rings.

"Thank you so much. I love these." I really like wearing rings and these look awesome. I exchange places with my old rings right away.

"Me now." Elliot gives us the presents. He's bought Emilia a beautiful silver necklace with a shiny diamond hanging off it. She hugs him as a thank you.

I open mine and see a thick, black notebook inside. "Did you notice mine was near the end?" I ask.

"Yeah. You wouldn't have where to write your poems if I didn't."

"Thank you."

Trevor opens his and screams from happiness. "Elliot, thank you man!!!" He flings the two caps around in his hands.

"Aren't those merch from that band you like?" I ask.

"Yes! I wanted to buy these since forever. Thank you bro." They fist bump.

"Can I go now?" Trevor places his presents before us.

"Aw, look at this." Emilia gushes when she sees her little pink teddy bear that Trevor gave her. "Thanks Trevor, it's so cute."

"I got you both the same thing. Open them." He says to Elliot and I. We do as he said and I smile when I see he got us the same keychain that he has on his backpack. It's a shimmering rainbow. The rainbow warriors. Ah, he's gonna make me cry.

"Thank you." I take his hand and kiss it quickly.

"This is by far the coolest gift ever. No offense sis." Elliot says.

"None taken. This really is a great gift idea."

"Finally my presents." I give them and wait for their reactions.

"Ash...is this...it is!!!" Emilia jumps up and down when she sees hers. I bought her a CD of her favorite girl group. She once said that she couldn't find this album anywhere but I knew just where to find it.

"Dude...I'll kill you. This was freaking expensive! Why did you buy it?!" Elliot basically screams at me. Oops.

"It doesn't matter. As long as you like it." He kept nagging about how he wanted to buy this one golden earring but his parents didn't give him the money for it, so me being the good friend I am, with a little pleading to my mom for some money was able to buy it.

"I love it." He exaggerates a crying face.

"Ash..." Trevor opens his only to find a piece of paper in it folded in half.

"Um, can we go in my room so you can read it?" It's too much of a personal letter to be read in front of everyone. I look at everyone to see if they're okay with it and they all nod.

"Go on boys. We'll just prepare the dinner table." My mom says. Trevor and I go into my room and he sits down and opens the letter while I stand in front of him.

"Dear Trevor, thank you. Because of you I've been able to have the best time of my life. Here's a couple of reasons why I am thankful and why I love you:
1. Because of your endless love and understanding.
2. Because you are able to make me feel loved.
3. Because you make me smile and make me happy.
4. Because of your cuddles when I feel sad.
5. Because when I'm with you I can be myself.
6. Because you know me best.
7. Because you buy me lunch. ^v^
8. Because I can trust you.
9. Because I can help you as much as you help me.
10. Because you're always by my side.
11. Because you give your all for me.
12. Because you're funny.
13. Because your smile brightens up my day.
14. Because when you look at me I forget everything else.
15. Because I see all my future spent with you.
16. Because you look cute when you sleep. *heart eyes*
And last but not least...
17. Because without you I feel empty, you are not the other half that fits with me, you are a whole that stands beside me, wherever I go.
I love you and I will endlessly.
Yours, Ash."
By the end of it his eyes are filled with tears that are slowly gliding against his cheeks. His hands are shaking as he holds the piece of paper.

"Ash..." He sobs and jumps up to throw himself in my arms. This is where I couldn't hold it in anymore as I start crying too. We embrace until both of us have stopped sobbing, when he says, "I love you so much. So much." We share a kiss that brings out all the emotions in me, I give my all in it, trying to once again show him how much he means to me. The world. Everything. He is my everything.
