Trevor came back late last night and I was already in bed so I didn't even bother to talk to him.
This morning I brush my teeth together with him in our bathroom. In one sink. I guess I'm not the only early riser. I get dressed in my new wonderful uniform, which was the opposite of wonderful actually. The fit was good but it just wasn't my style. A white shirt and beige pants with a red tie? What era do we live in? I don't even know how to tie a tie. Ugh.

"What's your first class?" Trevor asks me before he heads out.

"English."

"Good. We're in the same class. Come on I'll be your guide." Did he just forget our argument last night?
I follow him either way. He explains a couple of things on our way to the classroom building like where the bathrooms are and closets and the gym.

"This is us." We enter a classroom half filled with boys. I notice a small group of guys at the near back and I see Trevor heading to them. I decide to sit in the opposite side at the far back, away from them and everyone else. I take glances their way and I notice they keep looking my way. Especially that one blonde guy that has that 'perfect high school jock' look.

"Hey Ash!" Trevor calls me and I slowly turn his way. All the others are looking at me too but I remain looking unbothered. "Come here." No way in hell am I willingly going to go near them. I can smell the douche from here and I don't want to get contaminated.

"Nah. I'm good." I just say and get back to doodling in my notebook.

Thankfully the bell rings before this can go on. The classroom is now filled with students and last comes in the teacher. It's an old man that reminds me a lot of Shakespeare with his mustache. Ironically, he's also an English teacher.
"Good morning. Some of you know me already, some don't, so for our new student joining us, hello, I'm Mr. Spear. Before you think about it, yes I do look like Shakespeare and yes, my surname is similar to his name. It's a coincidence." Hmm, cool guy.

"Now, if you'll allow me, I'd like to start." I do like to write and all but I find every single school subject boring. That includes English. So, as Mr. Spear talks on and on I zone out and scribble in my notebook all throughout class. The bell rings and with it the dreadful Math class. I find all the subjects boring as I said but when it comes to Math, I have no good word for it. I hate it from the bottom of my heart to the top of my brain.

I find the classroom without Trevor's help now, since he was still with his friends and again I sit at the back. But, sadly for me, the desks are for two people and someone decides to sit next to me. I pray it's Trevor since that's the least bad it can be but when I turn to look at him I see two hazel eyes looking back.

"Hey." He smiles with blinding pearly white teeth. I ignore him and turn back to my doodles.

"My name's Elliot." Get the jist Elliot, I don't wanna talk.

"I was wondering if you wanna come to my little party at my dorm tonight. Since you're new and all you could use the friends."

I roll my eyes, turn at him and say, "No." And I turn back.

"My dorm number is 069." He decides to leave me after that. I guess the seat next to me is going to be vacant. Cool. I can do nothing in peace.

Math was as boring as I anticipated it to be and as hard too. I didn't understand a word our teacher Miss Owens said. Thankfully now I have lunch so I won't be worrying about anyone bothering me. I can just go at some corner and sit peacefully while listening to some music. Or so I thought up until I am met with, how many now...one, two, Trevor, four. Four boys standing in front of me.

"Hey Ash. Wanna eat with us?" Trevor throws a lopsided smile.

"No thanks."

"Oh, come on...I'll buy you lunch." That's an offer I may have to take.

"You will?" I look up at him with a suspicious face.

"Cross my heart. Come on." I take one last look at the four boys and start walking in front of them.

"What do you want?" Trevor asks from beside me at the lunchroom.
"This...this, this and this...oh and a juice too." He puts everything I tell him on the tray and goes at the end of the line to pay.

"I wasted all my weekly allowance on you, asshole." He grumbles as he hands me my tray.

"My friendship is expensive, what can I say?" I will make you not want to be my friend.

"Ass. Follow me." I do as he says and follow him to a table at which sit none other than the three other guys from earlier. Well, two other guys and Elliot.

"Big appetite you got there Ash." Elliot comments looking me up and down. I sit down and don't bother to greet anyone else before I begin eating. The others do the same except for poor Trevor that has no money left to buy something for himself.

"Here." I put my wrapped sandwich in front of him.

"What? No, I bought it for you." He tries to put it back in my tray but I grab his hand and place it back down on the table.

"You're not eating." Ugh, I hate when I feel bad. Just stop feeling Ash.

"Thanks."

"What a nice guy." Of course Mister I Give The Best Comments Ever talks again.

"I know right." I say.

"And narcissistic."

"Far from it dude." I hate myself.

"So, are you gonna come to the party tonight?" Trevor asks me.

"No. Not a party type."

"Okay then." I see from the corner of my eye the look Trevor gives to Elliot. And Elliot looks...disappointed?

"What if I  buy you lunch tomorrow? Will you come then?" Elliot asks now. Ah, sweet bribery. Never ceases to amaze me.

"Deal." Don't judge. I just like free stuff, k?

"Room 069. Not gonna miss it." The bell rings at that moment. All of us stand up and go to classes. Which unfortunately, I share with them.
