GOING 78 MILES PER HOUR IS COMPLETED.

Now, let me explain.

The ending was not planned. I had about three more chapters before I wanted to end the story, but I felt that it was necessary for me to close this book. Not that I didn't like it—but because there's so much more that I want to explore and I'm prepared to explore them.

When I was writing this novel, I did not expect this many to be touched, to sympathized, to love it as they did. I thought it would be a couple of readers, a couple of comments. I never thought I would reach #4 on Teen Fiction.

Dahlia and Harlow's stories are very personal to me, and from writing them, I knew I didn't do them as much justice as I should've. I never thought I would love them as much as I did—and I never thought y'all would love them as much as I did. There was so much I didn't account for, and I want to do them justice.

The original outline for this novel was flimsy, outdated and did not accompanied the changes in their arcs and development. Reason being—I didn't know their development and arcs. I wrote a rigid outline and followed through with it, before recognizing the minor missteps and things I needed to change. By then, it was too late. I was almost finished with the novel.

Now, knowing my characters—knowing better of Dahlia Gray and Reid Harlow—I know what they need and what I need to do. I have been planning a new outline; figuring out the necessary chapters I need to include, the plot and subplots, the character arcs. I know (majority) of it all, and it's more redefined, polished and so much better. I love these characters so much, I want to do them justice.

However, I needed to finish this first draft before I dedicate my time to giving them justice. While the ending may be unsatisfying to some, it was enough closure for me to move onto my next project. Which is the published version of G78MPH.

Surprise! I have been planning the published version. My mind has been consumed with making this new version the best version it can be—creating more moments between Dahlia & Harlow, give more insights and equal screen-time to both MCs, and redefining fan-favorite chapters. I have been putting my heart and soul into this published version, and I hope you will be there to experience it with me.

It's completely understandable that you are done with G78MPH. It is a completed novel—but I'm not. I'm not writing for anyone else, I'm writing for me. I'm writing to have my own story—this story—in my hands one day. I don't care if anyone buys it, reads it, or doesn't. I just want to see my babies come to life.

But, I will say, the new version will be completely different. There will be more moments between Dahlia and Harlow, where you can see them falling in love, you can explore more of Harlow and his relationships with his foster family and birth family, and you will see much more of the themes(!) within this story. It will be new—but the same—if that makes sense?

So, while technically, this novel is completed on Wattpad, it is not completed for me. I have much more to do, and much more to say. Dahlia and Harlow holds a piece of my heart, and I won't rest until I do them justice.

I hole you will experience this journey with me. If not—that's perfectly fine. Thank you so much for reading, I'm so happy to be apart of your life for however long it took you to pick up this novel. You've been such an amazing, beautiful and kind crowd. I love you all very much!
