One week. That's how long it took me to finally leave my house, and process all the chaos as well.

How many problems do I have in life?

None, if you exclude the fact that I have a betrayer of a best friend, and also the fact that there is a psychopath after me, and that all my friends are planing a revenge against the psychopath.

Sam.

I haven't confronted her yet. She, not only vandalized my locker, but also was responsible for my accident.

Well, indirectly.

Why did she leave my hand?

Why did she vandalize my locker?

I have no idea.

This might be the last chance, I am giving Sam, if she does anything which is not normal, then it won't take me a second exposing her.

As for the revenge plan, I don't know how I'll execute it.

Tyler just told us to befriend Antony. He didn't explain why.

It will be a hard job to do that, but if we overlook the fact that, I am responsible for his brother's mental stage, then it is an easy piece of cake.

Plus, I already punched him in the face once.

I don't know what or how to do it. But Cole reassured me, that he will be supporting me, through thin and thick.

And since I have to befriend Antony, I need to be friends with Bethany, Kylie and Travis as well.

So much work to.

I don't exactly know when James is coming, but I have a feeling, it's soon.

I can't wait to meet him, I'm gonna show it to him, that even after getting shot, I'm alive and living happily.

I've missed so much school work.

All because of a fucking prank.

Nevermind, Cole told me not to worry about my schoolwork, he said, he'll give me the notes.

Speaking of Cole, he has been checking up on me, since the day I've fallen.

Like, he was the one who pranked me, and now he's worrying as if I'm going to die.

I don't understand. It's just that...Cole is like a BTS song, I might not understand the lyrics very well, but I'm addicted to them.

Addicted. Attracted. Amazed.

I don't know what to do, or feel anymore.

"We're here." Peter's annoying voice broke me out of my trance.

"Bye." I muttered stepping out of the car.

I don't wanted to see his ugly face for more than a minute.

"Yo! Looking hot Xandra." I heard Ryder shout, as I turned around and saw him making his way towards me.

I flew a kiss at him.

As soon as he reached near me, he crushed me into a hug.

"I've missed you. I haven't been able to steal Jessica's or Sam's fries." I heard him mutter under his breath.

I rolled my eyes, as he pulled away.

"I guess you'll be eating my fries today." I said, causing him to smile widely.

"Wait, what's the catch?" He asked me.

Damn. He's smart.

"I need you to keep an eye on someone."

$$$

Mrs. Springs, my English teacher, was absent today.

Any guesses who the substitute teacher is?

My favourite, Mr. Harts.

He seems to have taken an unreasonable dislike for me.

Well, even I don't like him.

Do you wanna know the best part?

Bethany shares this class with me.

So, my amazing sir thought it would be a great idea, if he shifted my seat (which was beside Jay) to the seat next to Bethany.

Jay was a cute guy in my class, whom I had befriended.

Now, I'm stuck sitting next to Bethany who was doing nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

I have to do something. I need to befriend her.

How?

I have no idea how.

I sighed loudly as I pulled out my IPhone from my pocket.

I scrolled through instagram.

I heard Mr. Harts clear his throat.

I looked up at him.

He was standing infront of my desk.

I felt Bethany's eyes boring into my side head.

"Are you allowed to use phones in your English class, Miss Black?" He asked me.

Stay calm.

"Why, yes." I said, shrugging my shoulders slightly.

"Really? Does Mrs. Springs allow that?" He furthered questioned me.

"Not all the time. But sometimes when we need to make assignments for some author, we need to do basic research you see." I explained.

Please don't seize my phone.

"Very well then, since she is absent today, and I'm taking your class, I won't allow any of my students to use thier phones." He said, as he walked off to his desk.

Phew.

I quickly stuffed my phone in my pocket.

"I hate him." I heard Bethany mutter beside me.

"Who doesn't?" I muttered back.

"That confidence though." She said, as she gave me an impressed look.

"What can I say? I'm experienced." I smirked at her.

I didn't know it would be this easy to start a discussion with her.

The discussion is about: Our teacher sucks.

We talked about how much we hate this teacher.

I told her about my first chemistry class with him, and how much he scolded me for coming late.

"He asked for excuses, and when I started giving him one, he said..." I trailed off.

"Save your silly excuses." Bethany completed for me.

I smiled at her, as she giggled lightly.

Bethany told me about her first experience with him.

Apparently, she was in the chemistry lab, doing some chemistry shit I don't know about.

So, she mistakenly dropped an empty glass beaker, and it broke.

Mr. Harts was angry at her.

"And, he still hates me." She said, finishing her story.

I laughed slightly.

"Uhm, how's your head now?" She asked me, and that question made me raise an eyebrow.

I don't remember telling her about my accident.

"It's okay I guess, but how do you know?" I asked her.

"Know what?"

"That I injured my head?"

"Oh, I overheard Kylie talking to her cousin about it."

Why the hell would Kylie talk about my injury to her cousin?

Who is her cousin?

"I don't know her well, but doesn't she hang out with you and Jessica?" Bethany said, and I understood who she was talking about.

"You mean, Samantha?" I asked her, for a double check.

"Yeah. That blonde girl." She assured me.

God Damn it. What...how...why...

I finally understand everything.

Sam is doing all this, on Kylie's instructions.

But, from what I remember, Sam was gushing about how I stood up from Kylie, as though she hated Kylie.

"But...she never told me that." I said, still unsure.

"Yeah, Kylie never told me either, but I found out only a few days before, like probably a month before." She said, trying to remember something.

I'll confront Sam today.

"Uhm, I had to ask you something." I said, as she stopped thinking and looked at me.

"Go ahead."

"Remember the other day, you told me that whatever James, Christian and Cole did for you was...for a bet. Do you mind telling me the whole story? I mean your side of story?" I asked her, but as soon as the words left my mouth, I regretted it.

Her bright blue eyes turned dark, as her smile dissappeared.

"But, you don't have to." I said, but she shook her head.

"But I want to." She insisted.

I shrugged my shoulders.

"They played with me." She said, her voice filled with sadness.

"But, Cole really liked you." I said, but she shook her head.

"Not really. They all were playing with me. Nobody liked me." She said, looking at her hands.

"But Cole said..."

"Of course he would lie to you. He doesn't want you to know the whole truth. Which boyfriend would ever want his girlfriend to know about his bad deeds." She said, angrily to herself.

"He isn't my boyfriend." I said, seriously.

Why do people assume that anyways?

"Who are you kidding?"

"But I-"

"You should've seen the look on his face, during this past week when you weren't present. It was like, he didn't want to be here."

He was here only because I asked him to bring me the notes from school.

"See. That's my point, Xandra. He likes you. Everyone can see that. Stop being so obvious." She said, as I realized that I had voiced my thought.

"I know he does." I mumbled, looking at my hands.

"Really? You aren't doing anything about it?"

"Well, he confessed one day and I..."

"You what?"

"I slapped him."

Bethany burst out laughing loudly as she took a hold of her stomach.

I tried shushing her, but It was too late as Mr. Harts kicked us out of his class.

I playfully glared at her, but she just winked at me.

"Why exactly did you slap him?" She asked, as we roamed around the empty corridor.

"Because I wasn't sure of my feelings, and Antony lied to me."

She stopped smiling as she turned her head to face me. She was serious.

"What did he lie about?" She asked me, looking at me, dead in the eyes.

"He said that Cole was playing with me."

She was quiet for a while.

"He wanted to teach Cole a lesson."

"What..."

"Antony was the one who told me about James, Cole and Christian betting on me."

"Are you serious?"

"Antony wasn't a bad guy, as you all think. He is a good person, who has gone through a tough time."

"Tough time?"

"I can't tell you about that. That's Antony's story to tell."

With that, she walked off.

I stared at her retreating figure.

I must say,

She has a nice ass.
