Tyler is coming. I'm so happy. Though he said he'll come in the weekend which is like, four days later.

I can't wait. It's been so long since I last met him. I am excited.

"Hey, Xandra. What's the answer to the eighth question?" Ryder asked me.

"Its--wait, do it yourself," I said, rolling my eyes at him.

Ryder sucks at maths. He, after requesting a lot to me, suggested that we should do our Maths homework together since we share the same class.

I wasn't sure though since I knew that he would only copy mine, so I declined his offer.

But when he suggested a deal which I couldn't resist, I had to agree to help him.

The deal wa--

"Please Xandra, I would get a zero if you didn't help me. Please?" He pouted.

I sighed.

"Go get me something to eat, and I'll think about it," I said, completing my homework.

He muttered something along the lines like, "bossy as fuck." As he left the room.

I closed all my books and stood up, as I walked around his room.

Ryder had a pretty decent room, his theme color is orange and white.

What I found the cutest was all the photo frames of him hanging everywhere in the room.

I stared at the first photo, it was of like, two years ago.

I spotted Ryder looking great with Cole, Blake, Brody, and Jessica at the beach.

As I looked closely, my eyes widened.

I saw Antony, Travis and ...And...

James Cage looking a lot younger then what he is now.

There was one more person there, whom I didn't recognize, though he looked similar like Ryder.

But my mind was still stuck on the fact that Cole, Ryder, Blake, and Brody already knew James.

This makes sense of how Antony knows James as well.

What is the connection between them? God, I'm scared.

This means, that I escaped James only to come back at his hell hole.

James will get me. I'm dead. Oh God, I'm dead. This is all my fault. I shouldn't have come to Riverside.

"You look like you saw the ghost in my washroom." Ryder laughed as he walked in the room, with two buckets of ice-creams.

Act calm Xandra. Don't let him find out anything. Got it?

"Uh, no, that's not true," I said, giving him a small smile.

"Let's eat ice-cream then. I brought your favorite flavor." He said, smirking at me.

"D-do you mind if I ask you something?" I asked him.

"You just did." He said, taking a spoon of his chocolate ice-cream.

"Please, it's important," I said, keeping my ice-cream tub aside.

"Okay, okay." He said, taking another spoon.

How much does he eat?

"That photo, uh, there are some people who shouldn't be there and some of them are not known to me. Mind telling me about it?" I asked, pointing at the photo frame I just saw.

He stopped eating. Did I say something wrong?

"Come on." He said, pulling me up from his bed, by my wrist.

I, now, stood in front of that god-awful- photo frame, with Ryder standing beside me.

He pointed a finger at the boy who looked similar to Ryder.

"This was Christian, my brother." He said.

"Was?" I couldn't help but ask.

"He's dead," Ryder said, shortly.

I didn't ask him about his brother any further. It would spoil his mood.

"Why are Antony and Travis in the photo too?" I asked, changing the topic.

"We were friends two years ago. But everything changed after Christian passed away. These were the first ones who ditched me. I guess they weren't my true friends." Ryder said, shrugging his shoulders.

His mood didn't lighten up, though.

What was wrong?

"An-and who's this one?" I asked, pointing a shaking finger at James.

"That's James Cage, Antony's stepbrother, and the murderer of Christian," Ryder said, so quietly that I could hear a pin drop.

Hearing those words, made my breath get stuck in my throat.
