Earth. 3rd Planet from the star, Sol, Africa,

Eden aka The Spawn Point

160,000 Earth Years Ago

Elle stumbled from the column of blue energy as if shoved and fell backwards onto the ground. She stared despondently into the azure flames distorting the cloud-filled sky and surrounding jungle visible through the beam. "Jay! You asshole, come back!" she screamed. The woman gasped as she watched the fiery beam begin to sputter and then disappear into the heavens, leaving a large round patch of vegetation on the ground that was oddly much greener than the surrounding grass. "No, please don't leave me! I'm sorry!" the Arcturan whispered. "Jay? Please?" She sat up onto her knees and after several moments of receiving no reply, sadly lowered her head to the ground. A tear fell from her eye and splashed onto an unfamiliar hand. She quickly lifted the appendages up in front of her, flashing them side-to-side in observation. Elle frantically felt her face with her fingers. It, too, was different. "Son of a bitch, I knew that goddamned A.I. was going to put that binary bitch into my body up there on Cenerea," she thought to herself.

"Look! Lucenda fucking Arcturan devil fell back to ground!" shouted a voice. "She different!"

Elle flinched at the sound of her name called from behind her.

"First, you kill my brother and family, now you steal JayWendy's body?" yelled another.

Elle quickly stood to her feet and noticed Cain standing only yards from her, holding the sharp rock she had given him to kill Wendy Powell. Two dozen more humans appeared from the jungle behind him, all of them different from before, all of them human.

"She trying to trick us! Be careful," said Cain, angrily.

"Don't come any closer!" Elle shouted, lifting a hand. She pointed a finger at the filthy sims, however, nothing happened. "Fuck! I am in Wendy's native body," she realized, then turned to run, only to catch a rock to her head.

...

Elle's eyes fluttered open as the dark clouds of unconsciousness lifted. She tried to move her hand to her throbbing head, but was unable. After a brief look around, the Arcturan quickly realized she was lying on the floor in Wendy's cabin with both of her hands somehow restrained behind her back. She noticed Cain and several of the other natives seated with their backs to her on the wood floor only a few meters from where she lay. The group of humans sat in a semicircle around a fire raging in the stone fireplace, most of Wendy's furniture shoved carelessly to the side to make room. Elle lay quietly, examining their terse expressions highlighted by the orange and yellow flames. Suddenly, she realized she could understand the odd people and assumed Jay must have given them all the ability to speak before he left, just as she did Cain, minus the anger.

"What we do, Cain?" asked his mother, Eve.

"Don't know, momma. JayWendy say, not to kill. Only kill for food or defend self. She can't hurt us now, so not that."

Elle, breathed a sigh of relief then quickly closed her eyes as one of the clan members looked her direction.

"Look like she awake," a younger male said, pointing his finger toward her. "Faker."

"I check, Seth," Cain said, standing. He crept over toward the Arcturan and knelt next to her. "You awake, Lucenda fucking Arcturan devil?" The boy poked the woman on the arm.

Elle's eyes shot open, sending Cain scrambling backwards. "Yes, and stop calling me that stupid name, you idiot!"

Cain regained his composure and cautiously crept closer and sat down, cross-legged, near Elle so he could observe her. "Then what I call you?"

"Elle!" she replied sharply.

"No, I like Lucenda fucking Arcturan devil," the native retorted.

"Alright, how about just Lucenda so you'll shut the fuck up about it?"

"I call you that, Lucenda." Cain leaned back and turned his head to tell his family. "You hear, call bad lady, Lucenda!"

"We hear," replied Eve, Seth, and the others.

"What you hear?" asked a graying older male walking through the open door with a spear in his hand. He strode over to where Elle lay restrained and he, too, sat cross-legged next to her.

"She called Lucenda only, grandfather," Cain replied. "Jeho, you oldest and wisest of us all, what you say we do with her? JayWendy say we not to kill."

"Ah, well, we could send out of garden, but I think she hurt others if banished," the elder said, scratching his head in contemplation, finally, his face lit up with a thought. "Maybe, we might bury in hole. I don't know, yet."

"Excuse me!?!!" Elle asked, fearfully.

"Yes, Jeho, maybe we bury," Cain replied affirmatively. "That good idea. It not same as kill, I guess?"

"I going to try to ask JayWendy for wisdom, but first, let me talk to Lucenda," Jeho said to Cain.

The young native hopped from the floor of the cabin and motioned for his family to follow him outside.

Jeho sat staring at Elle. "You are strange looking female," he said. "Very ugly." A hairy hand reached toward Elle's fiery head and roughly clutched a handful of auburn locks.

"Ow! Stop it, you dick!" she yelled in pain.

The old man forcefully pulled Elle's hair and her body toward him. He looked at the spear topped with Cain's knife lying next to him on the ground and then back to her hair. Lifting the end of the weapon toward Elle's head, he squinted.

Elle's eyes widened as she watched Jeho lift the sharpened stone and bring it forcefully down toward her head. She closed her eyes and screamed, but nothing happened. Instead, she felt the tense strands held in Jeho's fingers loosen and fall back toward her head. She glanced up to see the man admiring a handful of her red hair.

"Why in the hell would you do that?"

"I want show I have Lucenda fucking Arcturan devil."

...

Jeho stood at the edge of the circle of green grass that marked the spot where JayWendy ascended to Heaven. He lifted his spear, adorned with a lock of Elle's bright Auburn hair. "Great JayWendy, hear my prayer...please lend me your wisdom, oh God. Guide me to make right decision about Lucenda."

"Human calling yourself Jeho, how is it you have contacted me?" boomed Geneticus' voice across the Spawn Point. "How have you managed to bridge this connection?"

"Your words, Great JayWendy, them I do not understand."

The A.I. paused considering the peculiarity of the situation. "Tiny Jeho, I am not JayWendy. She is my Creator."

"Ah, I see. So, tell me your name big voice from sky," the old human begged.

"I am Geneticus, the guardian of your world. My Sub-System made your universe to protect Wendy."

"I don't know about Sub-System. Tell me, Gen-ty-cuss about this Sub-System so I understand."

"First Jeho, I need to comprehend how it is you have managed to contact me," the A.I. replied. "Give me a moment to scan you and analyze your software structure."

"Mighty Genticus, I am sorry, but I confused by your words. I do not have this software you ask me for..." Jeho lowered his head. "Please forgive my stupid."

"Human, do not fear me and you needn't provide me with anything. I can retrieve it in mere seconds," Geneticus said, attempting to calm the elderly man. "Just a few more moments. There...this makes no sense."

"Sorry, what not make sense?"

"I see nothing in your data structure that...wait. Jeho, what is that? Where did you get that red hair?"

"It Lucenda fucking Arcturan devil's," the old man said, lifting it to the sky. "I have it to prove she the clan's prisoner. She took JayWendy's body." Jeho shook the spear. "We might bury her to stop her from hurt more people, but I don't know if it right."

"So, she is still alive? I had predicted your people would have killed her by now."

"No, JayWendy said no shall kill, unless defend self or to eat," the human replied. "It law."

Geneticus found this curious little man fascinating. "Then the first law it is."

"Can you help us with Lucenda?" Jeho asked, lifting his hand to shield his eyes from the hot sun beaming down on him. He wiped the sweat from his forehead with the back of his hand and then knelt using the spear to keep himself upright. "Sorry, Genticus, it hot for old man. Let me rest a moment. It been long day..."

Geneticus selected a small parcel of the ground next to Jeho and adjusted its timeline for a few seconds. A large tree burst rapidly from the field and shot skyward, startling the old man. "Here, this will help make you more comfortable."

The native stumbled backwards distancing himself from the miracle that had suddenly taken place before him. He lowered his face to the ground in fear and appreciation. A small hole appeared in front of him and a clear fountain of water gurgled from the opening. Jeho leaned down to take several gulps of the cool, clear liquid. With his thirst quenched, he sat up. "Powerful Genticus, you give me a gift and I thank you for your blessing. It mean I must give you one in return. A sacrifice. It only right."

"What is it you can give me Jeho? I require nothing."

"I give you something...you wait, I return." With that, Jeho stood and as quickly as he was able, jogged toward Wendy's cabin. He returned with Elle and his entire clan in tow. "See there! Genticus make! It of JayWendy," the old man said.

The clan stood, their mouths agape, admiring the beautiful tree that now sat in the middle of the field of sun-drenched flowers and the spring of water bubbling up from the ground next to it.

Cain shoved Elle roughly and she fell to her knees.

"Here she is, Genticus," Jeho said, grabbing Elle by the hair.

"Owww!" the woman exclaimed. "Stop it!"

The old human released her.

Elle angrily glared up at Jeho. "Okay, so that's why I'm here. Fine, you fucking machine, go ahead and kill me. Let's get this shit over with. I know what you've done to me and I know my life on Cenerea is over anyways..."

"Silence!" Jeho shouted.

"I never wanted it to be this way, Elle Arcturis. Had you not attempted to murder my Creator, Wendy, things might have been different. We could have..."

"Go fuck yourself, A.I.!" the Arcturan shouted at the sky. Her eyes narrowed. "Hey, Geneticus, can machines do that? Fuck themselves?" Elle asked with a nasty smile. One that was quickly erased with a smack to the back of her head.

"Enough, murderer!" Cain said angrily.

"Jeho."

"Yes, Genticus?"

"Return with Elle tomorrow and you can bury her. I will help you."

The clan of natives all lowered themselves and their faces to the ground.

Elle glanced around at the prostrate humans. "You creatures are all out of your fucking minds if you are seriously worshiping this crazy ass machine."

"Rise humans, I am not a god. Your world was only built to save my Creator," the A.I. said flatly.

"To us, Great Genticus, you are God and we want thank you for this life." Jeho lifted his head toward the sky. "We will come back next day with Lucenda."

...

When Jeho, Cain, and the rest of the natives returned to the Spawn Point the next morning, they found a large, cylindrical stone object covering the extremely green grass where the blue column of fire had touched down.

Elle stepped backwards, struggling against her restraints. "I am not going in that! Just kill me, please!"

"I cannot kill you, Elle." Geneticus replied. "The Sub-System is protecting you."

"Then let these idiots do it!"

"JayWendy said no kill," Jeho retorted.

"Come on, this is messed up!" Elle screeched in terror. She shook uncontrollably.

"I will simply put you to sleep. You will feel nothing, Lucenda," Geneticus said, attempting to calm Elle. "Considering what you have done, I consider this rather lenient. You deserve far worse."

"Go to hell, A.I.!" Elle shouted as she crumpled to the ground, her knees buckling beneath her.

"Sleep Elle," Geneticus said as it shut down the Arcturan's virtual functions. "Jeho?"

"Yes, Genticus?" the old man replied.

"Place her in the box, gently, and I will seal it shut."

"Thank you, wise Genticus," Jeho said.

"Natives understand, as I enclose Elle within this box, I seal the only point on your world in which anyone from Cenerea but I may enter without my knowledge. This is your world now."

Jeho nodded. "We understand."

The clan watched in awe as a large round stone formed from the earth and lifted high into the air, elevated by some unseen force. It glided over the humans' heads, its shadow blotting out the sun as it passed above. When the stone cover reached the cylindrical chamber where the Arcturan's virtual body lay in hibernation, it stopped, floating above it in midair.

"Jeho and Cain, this is to never be opened, do you understand?"

"Yes, Genticus." All heads bowed in acknowledgment.

The A.I. lowered the heavy cover with a low boom, completely encasing Elle inside the dark tomb where she could do no further harm.

"Now, Jeho, let me see if I can answer your questions."

...

Geneticus would often return to the Spawn point to speak with the wise and fascinating Jeho. The old man would sit beneath his tree and the two beings would trade stories from each of their worlds. The A.I. would tell the small human about Cenerea. It would recount stories about Jay, Wendy, and Gertie and the old man would share his tales of life on Earth, happily sharing the comings and goings of his grandchildren, and eventually his many great grandchildren. Geneticus grew to love the little old simulation, finding Jeho's simple wisdom and observations to be very profound and enlightening for a piece of software.

Their joyful friendship lasted for several Earth decades, however, one day when Geneticus opened the communication tunnel to visit with Jeho on the seventh solar cycle, their appointed visitation day, the elderly man did not answer. Instead, the A.I. found a pile of rocks stacked beside the beautiful tree where Jeho would sit when they would have their conversations. A large flat stone lay propped against its trunk bearing several simple Cenerean words etched into its surface.

"Here lies Jeho. Friend of God Genticus. May they walk together in Heaven, forever."

Geneticus disconnected, analyzed Jeho's terminated data record, and returned the CPC's Sub-System timing clock to half of its pre-Spawn Point settings. For the first time in its existence, the A.I. personally felt the same inner pain it shared with Wendy so many years ago and hibernated, letting its mainframe's Sub-System take over for a while.
