["i like you" game (2)]

"Hey, Kim."

The said Kim looked up, pulling her gaze from the paper in hand which she'd been absentmindedly drawing on and looked up to meet Honda Hitomi's eyes staring down at you. Her face was a mask of annoyance, hands on her chest and she was bent forward just a tiny bit as she narrowed her eyes.

Chaewon looked around, like she were trying to say "who, me?" but it didn't get far when the bread-loving gal whacked her upside the head. She let out a low whine, "Geez, Hiichan! What was that for?"

"For acting dumb!" Hitomi snapped like it explained everything good and bad within this realm of living. Like it was her universe and Chaewon was merely a speck just living in it. "I wanted you to come and eat some cream buns with me. It's lunch time, pabo."

Chaewon was intrigued, pulled in by this offer as she looked up at Hitomi and then stood up from her seat, placing her hands own hands on her hips and smirked ever so slightly down at Hitomi who stood not too tall from her. A little teasing won't hurt, right? "Hmmkay, just hope you won't space out and eat mine after you finish yours, yeah?"

"Shut up!" Hitomi snapped but seemed pleased the radish princess chose to hang out with her as they both walked across the classroom where Hitomi's desk stood.

Chaewon slid an empty seat beside Hitomi's and patiently waited for the younger to pull out her lunch from her peach-colored bag. Once she got ahold of a transparent container, she carefully opened the lid and out came the faint smell of pastries.

Chaewon giggled softly as Hitomi rummaged through her bag once again, if by chance she finds something to hold the cream buns with, before she lightly poked Hitomi's shoulder making the younger face her with her slightly pouting lips.

"I got a roll of tissues here," Chaewon kindly offered her to tear some.

Hitomi muttered something she couldn't quite hear, but tore a piece of tissue from the roll nonetheless. "Put that away, here's yours," she handed Chaewon a cream bun with the tissue she tore from the roll. "This one's less fluffier than the others."

"Yah, Honda!" Chaewon snapped, offended then looked down at the cream bun, pouting softly. "You're simply just gonna give me a stale cream bun?"

She stared at her own cream bun a moment longer before Hitomi wordlessly dunked hers into your palm and went to grab herself another one. Chaewon blinked, then after a while she didn't realize there was a slight smile making its way to her lips.

This side of Hitomi wasn't liked or disliked by Kim Chaewon. She acted like a tsundere often in public than in private.

Although she wasn't bothered by this, because even if she gets too aggressive at certain times, she knew already about how much of a big marshmallow Honda Hitomi truly was.

It was silent, Chaewon reading next to Hitomi so close and yet not close enough it felt.

She'd recently been having certain thoughts about Hitomi. Like what she wanted to be, what her ultimate favorite thing to do in her free time was, what her hair would feel like sliding through her fingers, her body tugging closer to hers until there was no space and her lips were inches from touching hers- holy shit what?!

Chaewon blinked feverlishly, realizing she had been staring at the cream bun and not absorbing one thing at all. Her face heated up.

What was she thinking? Those just came out of nowhere! What the hell!

Shit, she's gay panicking again.

Because of Honda Hitomi, again!

Chaewon shifted to stand up when Hitomi who'd been so absorbed in her second cream bun, looked up with a flash of concern then put on a grumpy face.

"The heck's wrong with you?" Hitomi snapped at you again with irritation coloring her face and eyes perfectly.

Chaewon stuttered, internally of course, then rushed to her desk by the classroom's door. Were they really the only ones there? The cafeteria wasn't too faraway from their homeroom, so she knew their classmates would not hesitate to dash over there as soon as the bell rings.

This gave her an idea. "That's your second cream bun, aren't you thirsty?" she asked, her voice raised a bit so Hitomi would hear her as she waved her wallet in the air, indicating this will be her treat.

Whatever you're thinking, Kim Chaewon, this needs to stop. She mumbled to herself walking up to a vending machine. She chose a cranberry and it clanked out loudly, squatting and opening it with a pop and a hiss.

Hitomi has long been back in their classroom as soon as she grabbed her own drink. Chaewon failed to see what she chose, but she didn't give too mich thought into it. All that matters is that she has paid Hitomi back for her kindless in offering her lunch to her.

She took her time walking back to the classroom. She then took a gulp of her drink when she noticed Hitomi looking to the side opposite Chaewon who was by the doorway, idly playing with her blonde locks.

How and why was she close with such goddess, again?

Hitomi met Chaewon's eyes, side eyed her was more like it. She took another gulp before reclaiming her seat minutes after she had gay panicked. There she felt Hitomi's hands place themselves on her desk.

Chaewon noticed Minju and Hyewon were murmuring by the window, talking about their project that was due days ago no doubt. They were quite too close for comfort, if Chaewon would have had placed herself in either their place. They may be discussing more than schoolwork, who knows what's going on in those visuals' heads?

When Chaewon looked over to Hitomi, sighing when her expression screamed that she still had her head high in the clouds. She decided to sit down across from her, locking their fingers together and resting her chin on the joint hands, staring up at Hitomi who snapped out of her dazed state in an instant and squinted down at Chaewon. Hard.

Again, Hitomi wasn't exactly a fan of public display of affection.

"Hey, Hiichan, wanna play a game?" Chaewon finally asked curiously.

Hitomi blinked away her squint, her pretty brown irises seeming to glimmer slightly at the idea of a game.

"What kinda game?" She asked trying to look serious but that glimmer, interest at a game, still remained in her bright irises and Chaewon's heart couldn't help but leap with joy at the sight. She was like a little kid when candy was presented before her. She was just so cute!

Chaewon grinned happily and leaned back, arms curling over her chest. She looked at the younger in a way she was sure she must have  looked like some kind of satisfied tyrant. "The"i like you" game."

"Oh." She looked down flipping through her notepad and seemed to lose all interest in this so suddenly.

Chaewon blinked. What the hell just happened? It was like all the interest just died like water being thrown at a crackling fire.

"Eh? Why don't you wanna play all of a sudden?" She asked leaning forward making the desk squeak then Hitomi looked up, her face and eyes portraying boredom, and Chaewon blinked for the thousandth time that day. Deliberately.

Hitomi rolled her eyes, closing her notes and looked at the older girl as if she was already done with whatever was going on. She didn't stare back at Chaewon, with her head facing away from her and her eyes shooting daggers somewhere else.

"Because I already played that game with Nako-chan the other day. It's stupid and pointless." She said in a dismissive way.

Chaewon let out a small huff, letting her arms fold, resting her chin on top of them, attempting to give Hitomi her puppy dog eyes.

"And you can cut that out 'cause I'm not doing it."

"Come onnnnnn.." Chaewon whined then lightly tapped her feet on the floor softly, widening her eyes at Hitomi. She she rolled her eyes, tsk-ed softly and went back to reading.

What is even the point? We're done with everything for this quarter!

"Please? Pretty please? I really want to play it with you, Hiichannn."

Hitomi slammed her notepad down, looking irritated, her sharp eyes like flickering flames. "If I do it will you shut the heck up?" She questioned with so much demand Chaewon wanted to snicker at how it sounded and fought down the urge to go do that and bit the inside of her cheek.

Ah gosh that's hot

inner gay thought omg shut up

Suddenly, Hitomi flicked her forehead making the latter whine loudly. "Let's just get this over with. I go first." She cleared her throat gently then locked her fingers together on the desk top closing her eyes as if thinking of a starter.

The silence stretched on for some moments, her lashes dark against the pale smoothness of her cheeks.

Is it really that hard to make someone blush?

Chaewon eventually felt a tiny prick of concern and she lightly leaned forward in her own seat, brows pulling together tight. "Um are you alright Hiichan?" She finally asked gently like she was asleep. Hitomi must have picked up on this, for she snapped her eyes open only to see Chaewon's shining concerned eyes.. and face inches away from her.

"I like your, your  . . . your eyes!" She finally stuttered out pointing a finger towards hereyes making you blink and squint softly. "Th-The color of them, yeah.."

Chaewon felt no urge to blush, however she did feel strangely.....pleased that she found her eyes to be likeable when she always thought they were just as bland as dark coffee.

"Pft, thanks, Hiichan," She warmly smiled at her as Hitomi rolled her eyes but rested her chin on her hand raising her brows like 'give it your best'

Chaewon cleared her throat and grinned. "I like you so much, Hiichan. I feel like kissing your cheeks right now." She had an amused expression on her face while watching Hitomi struggle for several minutes, her eyes closing in concentration and her brows kept pulling together then smoothing them together repeatedly.

Hitomi soon tilted her head to the right and Chaewon could clearly see the red flush in her neck, burning there and her desperate attempts to keep it from crawling up to her face.

She finally let out a breath and grinned at Chaewon, even if that red tint was still in her neck. "I like your stupid smile. A lot."

Aight. Kim, admit it. You nearly did blush. Chaewon coughed into her fist, which she suddenly formed under the desk that separated them.

Hitomi continued to grin, until Chaewon reached out to poke her squishy cheeks. "I like that cute, wide eyed look you get when you're taken by surprise," She whispered lovingly, making her target's eyes widen, now clearly portraying the expression she was talking about. Problem is, it just lacked that bright blush Chaewon longed to see. God, what would it take to make her blush?

And uh oh, Hitomi seemed to see the older's distress. She took this chance to flash her toothy smile, holding her arms out like she was expecting a hug then she beamed brightly, her eyes so gorgeously sparkling.

"I love you!" She proclaimed once Chaewon finally looked up. She knew how to dazzle Kim Chaewon, doesn't she?

This instantly caused Chaewon's breath to get caught up in her throat as her mouth opened, and before she could stop it, a hot blush rose into her cheeks staining them the bright red she knew they'd be eventually.

The cons of being whipped, amirite?

She then jumped out of her seat, laughing happily and it gained Minju and Hyewon's, and half of the class's attention.

When'd they get there?

Hitomi began doing a little silly dance, her hands on her hips swinging them back and forth before throwing her hands over her head. "I win! I win I win I win!"

"Oh, shut up you," Chaewon mumbled crossing her arms over her chest leaning back in her seat, cheeks hot as a furnace.

Meanwhile Hitomi kept doing that dance and laughing joyfully, singing she won and her cheeks dimpled with her joy.

This girl was honestly adorable and though she wanted to whack her up the head, she smiled at her blissful state. Soon, she sat down across from you again, smiling widely and viciously with her victory.

Stupid and pointless, my ass.

Then Chaewon got an idea. "Ne, ne, Hiichan."

"What, loser?" She taunted, looking so proud of herself.

Chaewon grab hold of Hitomi's arm, her grip gentle, then she quickly yanked her down to her level.

She pressed her lips against Hitomi's cheek, so close to her mouth, and right after she sat back down, Hitomi's face had ripped into flames.

Chaewon smirked, crossing her ankles under the table and leaned back, arms curled over her chest again. Mischief glinted in her eyes as she watched that hot flame of red in Hitomi's cheeks flare up to a much more deeper shade.

"Oopsies~ I win!" Chaewon smiled in delight as Hitomi once did minutes ago. Hitomi glared and huffed angrily.

"I hate you!" She snapped, her cheeks still that cute bright red as she attempted to resume her reading. With her face behind her notepad, Kim Chaewon could only smile stupidly at the sight of a flushed Honda Hitomi.

Just when she was about to stand up and go back to her own desk, Hitomi still had something to say.

"You're dead when we get home, Kim!" Few seconds passed, Chaewon unfroze from her spot and took a step, but Hitomi then wanted to add, "I still hate you. And your stupid smile!"

Chaewon chuckled to herself. She knew. She knew, even if Hitomi said that a thousand times, those three words she proudly proclaimed at getting her to blush said a whole new story.

She knew Hitomi felt exactly the opposite rather than hate, and it made her stomach burst with thousands of butterflies.

The things you do to me, Honda Hitomi.
