[how many months has it been since i last published my first satzu? too tired to find out tbh]

[oneshot where i pretend i know college students :'>]

[trust fall]

Chou Tzuyu was your typical college student. Dark circles, shades of black under her eyes, and an empty wallet in her pockets. Broke as ever.

She wasn't one to get invited to those parties and hang outs to be the beaming one. Sure, her visuals were just as ethereal as any goddess out there, could easily turn anyone's heads in her direction- in the good way. But she didn't like that kind of attention that much.

She just thinks of herself as someone who's.. well, who's just right there.

Despite the admiration from strangers, she has never been in a relationship. Among her group of friends, she was the only single pringle.

She didn't know if she should be proud of that fact, or be disappointed she's more lonelier than she ever was after Dahyun had finally gotten herself a boyfriend last week.

Though if she was to choose, she'd favor (or not) the latter more than the former.

"Yooo, Tzuyoda!"

Yoo Jeongyeon, one of Tzuyu's friends called out, ran up to the puppy and began to pat her back several times.

Through these past four years, Tzuyu has basically grown to just bear with most of her close friends' touchy habits and not give a damn about them.

The group were taking a small stroll on the streets in a steaming afternoon, with empty stomachs. It was lunchtime, but none of them having lunch, for some odd reason.

However, Tzuyu's eyes brimmed with a little bit of curiousity, turning her eyes to Jeongyeon. "Something the matter?"

Jeongyeon laughed. Oh no, what is she up to this time? "Do you want free lunch?"

Being the purest and naive, and youngest of them all, Tzuyu's eyes beamed. "Yes," she replied in her normal flat tone, but it was fairly obvious she'd do anything for free food.

Chaeyoung and Momo, a pair from their own circle of friends, stared with curiousity, interested with the next upcoming events.

"Alright," Jeongyeon raised her index finger, "but on one condition."

Tzuyu instantly felt her stomach twist.

Jeongyeon's dares were awfully strange and embarrassing, but the rewards she gives are worth it, she was sure of it. Maybe that's why the ostrich was often invited to house parties back in their high school days. She was one damn party animal, according to her not so secret girlfriend, Im Nayeon.

"Aight so, you gotta do a trust fall on every stranger you see, but before that, you have to say 'I trust you', then fall!"

Tzuyu felt her soul leave her body, literally. This caused Jeongyeon to laugh while clutching her stomach.

"..Really, unnie?"

Jeongyeon chuckled, "Come on, we'll get pizza!!"

"Chew, you sure about this? You might actually ruin your, your uhhh, your reputation!" Chaeyoung interjected. She heard her stomach growl everytime food is mentioned, but she cared for her tall friend's feelings, too.

"B-But.. pizza," Momo interrupted, leaning closer to Tzuyu with her most adorable puppy eyes and pouting lips. This goes unnoticed by the maknae.

"I can always ask Mina to treat us!"

"Shut up Chaeng. But this time, it's free!" Jeongyeon held Tzuyu's shoulders and gave her a nod. "you gotta do it, Chew!"

"Who cares if it's free!"

"I do!"

Chaeyoung and Momo began to playfully debate till Tzuyu decided to stop them.

"C-Calm down.." She hesitantly said, then released a long, defeated sigh. "I'll be doing the dare, if we could get free pizza, s-so-"

"AYE, LEZGEDDIT!!"

"I trust you."

The guy with an oversized red shirt walked pass Tzuyu as she fell down.

"Grr.." She groaned in pain, clutching her side as she got up. She could hear her friends' quiet giggles and chuckles in the bushes nearby, with the exception of Son Chaeyoung, who only crossed her little arms and give pitiful stares towards the poor puppy.

That was the fifth person that rejected her, but Chou Tzuyu was determined to get her prize, while the others get half of the whole pizza. She got up and dusted her jogging pants.

She scanned her surroundings. She looked tired and frustrated, but all he could think is pizza, the reward after his task.

She let out a heavy sigh as her feet led her to a group of boys.

"I trust you."

"Yah!" The girls shrieked, but did not catch Tzuyu as she fell upon the ground for the sixth time now.

They gossiped among themselves, most likely talking about the beautiful girl that approached them.

Could her day get any worse than this?

"One.. *sigh* one more," Tzuyu muttered to herself, stretching her back. She promised to do at least fifteen, and just minutes ago she fell, for the fourteenth time.

Pizza here I come.

She approached a random lady, who was standing there, waiting for something perhaps. The lady was slightly shorter than Tzuyu, but she bet her wallet she was lighter than her, so she'd most likely won't have any trouble catching Tzuyu.

That is, if she does catch her.

Tzuyu spread her arms, forming a 't' shape with her body. She could feel already feel the lady's perplexed eyes on him.

"I trust you."

She braced herself for impact, shutting her eyes and waiting for the concrete to meet her face.

But, suddenly, all she felt were warm hands surrounding her arms.

"Woah," a giggle so sweet, "are you alright?"

Her soft, tad bit high voice enchanted her. It was gentle and caring, a song from an absolute angel.

She slowly opened her eyes and lifted her head to meet eyes with the chocolate orbs of the young lady. Her hair fell, dangling from her ears and roots.

The lady laughed at her dumbfounded face, noticing the red shade that spread across her cheeks.

She's . . . She's so pretty.

Tzuyu got up immediately. "S-Sorry. Uhm, I'm sorry," she apologized, her body tensing every second that passed.

The young lady giggled. "It's alright. I bet you already did that for a dare," She smirked.

Tzuyu's eyes widened.

She looks hot now, fruck.

"How'd you know I'm doing this for a dare?"

"I don't get why people would do that for fun," She placed her hands on her hips, "and you don't seem like the type to just go up to people and say something and fall." She shook her head multiple times, making a 'tsk, tsk' sound with her playful, beautiful, smirk.

"Ah!" Tzuyu flinched at the shiba inu's yell, before gulping at the stretched out hand before her. "I'm Minatozaki Sana by the way, what's your name, gorgeous?" She winked.

Tzuyu had a blush paint her cheeks immediately. "Oh, uhm, uhh. . . Chou Tzuyu. Nice to m-meet y-you," She forced an awkward smile.

Sana laughed. "I like your name, Tzuyu-ah," She smiled.

Tzuyu looked back at Sana. "M-me too!" she exclaimed, forcing a smile.

Her smile then fell, and her blush turned a darker shade. "I-I mean, I like your name, too. Not mine, o-of course..! Like- arghh.." She buried her face in embarrassment. "Mian.. I don't talk much to other people aside from my friends.."

Sana laughed. Cute.

"Don't worry," She chuckled.

Tzuyu took a peek from behind her hands, meeting Sana's eyes.

"I can't talk to goddesses such as yourself properly anyway," She said, a teasing smirk slowly making its way to her lips.

Instead of getting more flushed, Tzuyu became immersed with her pretty brown eyes. They were shining with sweetness and a little bit of playfullness. But she looked more adorable than outright beautiful.

"Uhm, sorry if that.. er, suddenly came out," Sana said, her own blush coating her cheeks.

Tzuyu yelped lightly. "No, no its alright! I like listening to you."

Not even a second passed, her face beamed with cherry red once again. "M-Mianhe. That, oh my gosh, that must have sounded creepy.." She had already brought her long arms on her sides again, her head bowing again.

A honey-like laugh reached her ears. It was soft and gentle, almost reassuring and not mocking.

"It's not at all. I like listening to you too, Tzuyu-ah," Sana sent another wink to Tzuyu. "Anyway, would you like to have lunch with me?"

"Err, I don't have money with me, though.." Tzuyu replied, shame drenched her voice, and an awkward smile was on her face.

"Me neither," Sana laughed again. "All I have is this credit card that I got from a dare."

"W-Wait . . .what?"

Sana grinned like a kid in a candy store. "My friends dared me to do some questionable things, and with one being quite wealthy, they gave me a credit card and some cash as reward," She paused as she shrugged, "I'm surprised too, but I obviously didn't reject it."

[ hint, hint : Myoui Mina ]

"I guess we're both victims of awful dares..?"

"Mhm, guess we are!" Sana agreed with Tzuyu, giggling.

There was a brief moment of silence.

"So . . . meal or no deal?"

Tzuyu's response was as quick as Usain Bolt, "Meal."

She looked at the bushes, seeing Jeongyeon's expectant eyes.

Tzuyu smirked at the older before boldly grabbing hold of Sana's hand and walking away with her.

"Confident all of a sudden, Chou?"

She didn't know where the sudden boost of confidence came from but she let out spew out as boldly as possible.

"Walking with someone so utterly gorgeous, I doubt anyone would not feel over the stars."

Maybe her days of being single will end here.

"If you stop it with the cringy comebacks, I might just be your girlfriend, Chou."

"Sounds perfect."
