UNKNOWN POV

*A few weeks earlier*

"So did you kill the boy?" The boss asks me, expectantly.

I hang my head in shame.

"The bullet didn't hit the target properly" I whisper, absolutely terrified.

"What the fuck do you mean by that?!" The boss asks, slamming his hand down on the table.

The glass if what I assume from the strong smell, to be whiskey, jumps and falls off of the table smashing into several pieces

I try not to flinch away in fear.

The boss is now standing up and is right in front me, towering over me.

"I thought I told you to finish him off before I had to!" He fumes.

He backs me up into a wall.

"But can you even fucking do that right! No!" He says balling his fist and punching the wall behind me that I am cornered in, his fist far too close to my face.

I make every attempt and fail not to make a sound.

"Oh, dear..." He starts, caressing my face gently and the tucking a rebellious strand of hair behind my ear.

I feel my body tense even more.

He grabs my jaw, almost crushing it in his grip and forces me to look directly at him, his eyes bore into mine.

"I hope you are not going to trade in my loyalty for this fucking boy, are you?" He asks.

I want to scream at him and tell him that I'm in love said 'fucking boy'...

But after the look I saw in his eyes when they met mine, it won't ever work.

"No..." I whisper.

He suddenly wraps a hand around my throat and lifts my small body off of the ground.

I immediately start trying to gulp down some air and breath.

The attempts to breathe are made futile when his vice-like grip tightens.

"No, what?" He asks menacingly.

I can feel the blood start to drain from me and black spots start to cloud my vision, one by one, showing sign that I am close to passing out.

"No...sir!" I strain out.

He suddenly drops me, letting go of me letting my body crash into the wooden floor harshly.

I choke and splutter, feeling tears spring to my eyes.

He turns on his heel and advances to the door.

"Since you can't be trusted with such a task, I will have to make other plans.

"Do I make myself clear?" He asks.

And before I can respond, he walks out of the study and slams the door after him.

"Yes... Father". I say to myself as well held back tear drops hit the polished wooden floor.

I can't let them find out.

Not anybody ever.
