"i wouldn't pay a single dollar."

jungkook answered, his face serious. he stared at the chat for a while before sighing. "i don't want to be in a relationship where money is involved. i prefer a relationship where both parties have neutral admiration and respect."

unbeknownst to him, minjee was standing outside the door when she heard those words coming out of his lips. her respect for jeon jungkook increased as she clutched her coffee tightly. she stood there for a few seconds before entering and spotted the male seated comfortably on the gaming chair. she placed the coffee on the table and stared at him.

jungkook flashed her a small smile before standing up, about to go back to his original place if it wasn't for her to suddenly hug him out of the blue. her arms wrapped around his torso as she rested her head on his chest. the male was stunned. he was about to return the hug but she pulled away and sat on the chair, acting as if nothing happened.

jungkook was utterly confused by her behavior but he won't deny that it made him happy to receive a hug. if staying with choi minjee meant getting random hugs every day then he could get used to it.

jeon jungkook is whipped.
whipper than the whip cream on the kitchen shelf.

"what are your plans after this?" he asked.

"i was streaming before you visited so i got nothing to do later, why?" she replied, taking a sip of the warm coffee she made before scrunching her nose at the bitter taste. maybe she put in too little sugar. "i should've made moch-a instead," she muttered.

"what?"

"hm?"

"say whatever you just said again."

"i was streaming before—"

"no, the one after that."

"i should have made moch-a instead?"

hearing this, jungkook chuckled. the way she pronounced 'mocha' was so endearing and adorable. her pronunciation for certain words was incorrect but the girl made it amusing and silly.

"why are you laughing?" she scowled, a small pout making its way to her lips and the male was sure she was unaware. he shook his head and waved her off, "nothing. it's just the way you pronounce things."

"what's wrong with the way i pronounce things?" she inquired, her attention now on jungkook who sat on the bed with his elbow propped on his thigh and chin resting on the palm of his hand, gazing at the pleasing sight of a puzzled choi minjee.

he took his phone out of his pockets and opened the notes app, typing in the said word before showing it to her. the girl blinked as she innocently read the word out loud. "moch-a?"

jungkook snickered again, increasing her confusion even more. "it's mocha. mo-ka," he corrected.

minjee furrowed her eyebrows as she stared at the male in disagreement. how was she wrong? the way she said it should be correct considering there were similar words to mocha she could debate with. "then what about mochi? or macha? why is moch-a incorrect?"

he shrugged, "whoever invented the word said so probably."

a moment of silence occurred as minjee started to think about something that was bothering her mind. she wanted to ask jungkook about it but was also quite reluctant because there was a chance he won't know the answer to her problem. nonetheless, she will just say what was on her mind.

"hey kook?"

the boy's heart skipped a beat hearing his nickname coming out of her lips. "yeah?"

"have you ever wondered how language was invented? like... who invented the alphabet and spread them worldwide? how did the people communicate back then? and if they were teaching them... how did they teach when they don't understand what you're saying? how do they make a dictionary and know how to differentiate it if it is in another langua—" her rant was cut off when jungkook turned her seat around to shut her up with a kiss on the corner of her lips.

minjee froze, registering what happened as she stared at him. from the corner of her eye she can see the chat spamming with a bunch of capital letters on the screen. she assumed were screams from her viewers.

the girl's mouth opened and closed, attempting to get a word out but to no avail as she was still frozen about his doing. "w-what—"

"you were rambling. and i don't even know the answers to your questions," he flushed, scratching the back of his neck in embarrassment and looked away. shit, i aimed for the cheek but why did she turn her head in the last second?! he thought.

the awkward atmosphere was shattered when a robotic voice started talking and it came from the stream. the duo turned their heads simultaneously at the computer screen to see a donation appearing at the corner. "i will give you seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven seven—"

the never-ending sevens resounded from the speakers as they kept staring at the stream. both minjee and jungkook listened to the robotic voice before glancing at each other.

the girl moved her chair forward to read who the donation was from so she could thank them, "uh... thank you jimochi for— wait, jimochi?— JIMIN?" she covered her mouth and froze for a couple of seconds before sliding down her gaming chair and out of frame.

"jimin-ssi?" jungkook nervously uttered, biting his bottom lip.

the robot still won't shut up.

"how many sevens did you input for this robot to not stop talking?" minjee queried, furrowing her eyebrows as the never-ending sevens won't cease. at the same time, her phone buzzed indicating a new message from someone.

JIMIN:
maybe around 2000+ lmao.

should end anytime soon.

JIMIN:
also i saw what jungkook did
to you SJAIHSJSZ I SHIP NOW
BGHAHAHA BYE

JIMIN went offline.

"—seven seven seven seven seven seven hundred and seventy seven subs if you say jungkook's name with an accent," the robot finished.

jeon jungkook blinked as he processed the words inside his head whereas minjee had this weird expression plastered on her face as if she was judging park jimin who had requested such a thing.
