25 days until the anniversary

"We told Elena today, that Jonathan cheated on her".

(Y/n) was on the phone with Kenma, telling him about his eventful day. (Y/n) was sitting in his gaming chair, slowly spinning around. The whole day he was excited to finally FaceTime his boyfriend and tell him about his day, which Kenma could very clearly see.

Kenma was laying lazily in his bed. It was only 6 a.m., which means he just woke up and was still tired. Nevertheless, (Y/n) had been waiting for Krnma to finally get up because (Y/n) refused to tell the blonde about his day over text. He wanted to see his reaction to the whole situation. Kenma smiled, thinking about (Y/n) being so cute and excited.

"You did? What did she say?", Kenma asked, interested in the situation. Even if he usually doesn't care about other people's business, the whole Jonathan-is-a-cheater situation is kind of also (Y/n)'s business, and it isn't a crime to care about his boyfriend's business.

"Well, she obviously was very upset about it. She actually loved, or rather loves, Jonathan". Kenma nodded understandingly, even if his boyfriend couldn't see it.

"Well of course, everyone would be, I think. But tell me the whole story! You were talking about these two non-stop for the last few days, now don't even think about letting out the details!", Kenma complained with a smile on his face.

He could hear (Y/n) snickering slightly on the other end of the phone. "Alright alright, I'll tell you the whole story".

"We gotta tell her! Elena is Head over heals for Jonathan, she wouldn't find out what happened, if we won't tell her", Dalia complained loudly. There were currently four people sitting together, eating their lunch. Dalia, Chase, (Y/n), and Kiana, leaving (Y/n) and Kiana in a rather awkward situation.

Even though (Y/n) tried to tell Chase that trying to get him together with Kiana was an absolute waste of time, Chase and Dalia had somehow made it their goal to get their friends together. Kiana was still interested in (Y/n), but she could see that (Y/n) didn't seem interested at all in her, which did hurt her a bit, but she decided to respect that. So, Kiana also tried to convince Chase and Dalia to stop playing matchmaker, but the couple just wouldn't listen, thinking their friends are just a bit embarrassed.

When (Y/n) first sat down at the table with them, Dalia and Chase still tried to get the two closer together, but (Y/n) was able to save himself, by bringing up the Jonathan-Situation. That way, Dalia was immediately distracted from her goal before, now focused on saving her other friend from a cheater.

"And that's the thing", Chase answered with a sigh. "It would be way easier to tell her about what Jonathan did, if she wasn't so in love with him. I doubt she will even listen to us if we tell her".

"So you would suggest we just won't tell her?", Dalia said, dumbfounded, but angry, raising her voice.

Chase immediately shook his head, his eyes wide open in shock, as if he would think "How could you think that?" "No of course not! That's not at all what I meant!", Chase wiggled his hands in a denying way. "I just meant that it's probably harder than you think to make her believe us".

"What about that girl Jonathan cheated on Elena with?", Kiana asked, just now participating in the conversation. The rest of the time she just had eaten her food quietly, watching the other three (or mostly Chase and Dalia) think about a way to tell Elena.

Immediately all eyes were Kiana. "What do you mean?", Chase asked her.

"I mean, first off, does she know that Jonathan is actually in a relationship with Elena? She is new to this school, isn't she? A freshman? I'm just saying that maybe it would be easier to tell her first. We can't just let her think that there's something going on between Jonathan and her, her heart would be broken when she found out the truth. And maybe she could even help us with telling Elena".

And that is how the Quartett of (Y/n), Chase, Dalia and Kiana made their way over to the freshman corridors, trying to find the girl.

Finding her was easier than people would've thought. She was bragging to her friend about how she slept with "a popular upperclassman, and I think there is really something there between us, you know? I think he might actually be the one!".

The freshman was undeniable a very pretty girl. She had short, well-kept black hair and green eyes. Immediately the Quartett could identify the girl, since many boys of their grade have been talking about the pretty girl. Her name was Aaliyah Jones. She was pretty short, probably only 5'2 or 5'3 and a bit more on the curvy side. The thing that made her so stunning, as many boys say, were her darker skin, mixed with her poisonous green eyes. Many boys have already tried to get something going on with her, even if she only had been in their school starting that year, but, other than Jonathan, Aaliyah had rejected every boy that was brave enough to confess to her.

"I'm glad you finally found someone!", one of Aaliyah's friends told her, admiration in her eyes. That girl was also pretty well known, mostly for having a different boyfriend each week.

Dalia decided to go up to Aaliyah, the other three staying behind her. Dalia quickly earned the attention of Aaliyah and her friend. "Hello, You're Aaliyah Jones, Right?", Dalia asked, even if she already knew the answer.

Aaliyah nodded. "I am. And who are you?".

"You can just call me Dalia. Do you maybe have a second? There is something my friends over there and I have to talk to you about. It's pretty serious", Dalia said, quickly making a hand gesture towards the other three, so Aaliyah knows who she is talking about.

Aaliyah seemed confused but nodded anyway. She told her friend that she'll be back, as she made her way to Chase, (Y/n) and Kiana, Dalia right with her.

"It's about Jonathan", Dalia stated as they arrived. Aaliyah probably turned red, her dark skin saving her from anyone noticing though.

"So then you told her about the whole Jonathan situation?", Kenma asked his boyfriend, who had been telling him the story. Kenma had already gotten himself some snacks for the story, such as popcorn and potato-chips.

(Y/n) on the other side of the phone gave his boyfriend a sigh. "Well, we tried, but I guess we kind of underestimated Aaliyah's crush on Jonathan".

"So what you're saying is, is that she also didn't believe you", Kenma stated. (Y/n) gave a nod, fully knowing that his boyfriend couldn't see it.

"Yes, she didn't believe us. But luckily, Kiana still had another plan".

Kenma rolled his eyes at Kiana's name being said. "Why is that Kiana-girl even with you guys?", he whined, still kind of jealous about the date, even if he suggested it.

(Y/n) just laughed quietly at his boyfriend's antics, before continuing on the story.

"Are you sure this isn't a bit cruel, Kiana?", Dalia asked quietly, so that Aaliyah wouldn't hear her.

Kiana gave her a monotone look. "Maybe. But it seems to be the only way".

(Y/n), Chase, Kiana, Dalia and Aaliyah were on their way to the spot Jonathan, Elena and Eito would be, probably eating their lunch and not suspecting anything bad coming their way.

Kiana's Plan was, that Aaliyah simply would go up to Jonathan and his friends, doing whatever her heart desires. Giving her "boyfriend" a kiss, or even just asking about what the night meant to him. That way, Aaliyah would find out the truth and Elena would maybe already suspect something.

"It might be a plan that could actually work out, but it's so cruel", (Y/n) thought, walking behind all of his friends. He was already pitying both, Aaliyah and Elena. Mostly Aaliyah, since she would just get her heart shattered in front of other people. "If I'd be Aaliyah, I'd probably feel so humiliated".

Finally, the five arrived at the rooftop. From afar they could see Jonathan, Eito and Elena happily chatting with each other, Elena and Jonathan giving each other loving glances.

(Y/n) looked at Aaliyah, who suddenly didn't seem so confident that Jonathan loved her. She seemed to be frozen in her place, weaker than before. She seemed scared, thinking about Jonathan having another girl.

"You don't have to go there", (Y/n) tried to tell Aaliyah, but she shook her head.

"No, that girl is probably just a friend, right?.. he said he loved me, he didn't lie", Aaliyah tried to say, getting quieter at the second half or her statement.

(Y/n) could feel his heart shatter slightly, when he saw tears in Aaliyah's eyes, threatening to fall down. Jonathan was probably her first crush, most definitely her first boyfriend, and a 100% her first time. She didn't deserve to be played like that.

A quick glance at Chase, (Y/n) could see that his best friend felt the same way. Aaliyah was just 15, and had already been betrayed like that. Nobody deserves that.

With slow and shaking steps Aaliyah made her way towards the table of the trio. The three still hadn't noticed the girl approaching and we're still chatting happily, seemingly carefree.

Chase, Dalia, (Y/n) and Kiana stayed where they were standing, hoping for the younger girl to just turn around and come back, Belieben the Quartett.

     Sadly, that didn't happen.

"Hey, Jonathan", Aaliyah said quietly as she reached the table, immediately the table went quiet and all eyes were directed at her. Even from afar, the Quartett could see Jonathan slightly panicking.

"You're name was... Aaliyah Jones, right? You're a freshman", Jonathan pretended to not know her.

Immediately Aaliyah's heart shattered into pieces, the tears stung in her eyes, the young girl struggling hard to hold them back. The boy she gave her virginity to was pretending to not know her, his hand interlocked with his real girlfriend.

"Do you need something?", Elena asked in a kind and warm voice, giving the girl a reassuring smile. Elena just thought the girl was shy and was avoiding eye contact because of that.

Aaliyah wanted to just disappear. Maybe it would've been easier for her if Elena would've been mean to her, a total prick. But Elena was nice. Nice and pretty, making Aaliyah even more insecure.

"Nevermind", Aaliyah muttered quietly, nothing more could be said without tears flossing down her face. She needed to leave right now, seeing Jonathan, the person she wanted to see the most just two minutes ago, had become unbearable. Aaliyah walked away quickly, nearly jogging, past the Quartett.

The four friends looked after her, feeling pity for her. "We'll go take care of Elena", Chase said, directed at the girls, before looking at (Y/n). "Maybe you could go look after Aaliyah and try to comfort her?".

(Y/n) just nodded before jogging after the younger girl.

"Damn, I hate Jonathan", Kenma sighed loudly, popcorn in his mouth.

"He has become such a prick".

"Is Aaliyah ok now? From what I heard she did seem pretty sad about the situation"

(Y/n) laughed slightly, even though the situation isn't funny at all. "Sad is an understatement. She was so depressed. I found her crying in an empty classroom".

"Gosh, poor her-", before Kenma could say something else, he could hear the front door unlocking loudly.

"Kenma!", Kuroo screamed through the house. Kenma looked at his clock, before immediately jumping up when he saw the time. "Crap! Sorry (Y/n) but I really have to leave or I'm gonna be late for practice. Talk to you later?", Kenma said, quickly putting on his school backpack.

"Sure, take care! I love you cutie! Bye!", (Y/n) said, giving Kenma only time to say bye back before hanging up.

Kuroo stormed through Kenma's door, startling the younger. "What's talking you so long? We have to go!".

"Yes yes, I'm ready, calm down", Kenma said, now back to his better known, rather calmer personality, pushing past his best friend on his way to the door.

"Aww, have you been talking to your little boyfriend the whole morning?", Kuroo gave him a smirk, trying to tease him. But Kenma was completely unfazed when he answered. "Yes. He was telling me about his friend who's a cheater and broke two girls's heart in one day".

Kuroo walked out of the door right after the blonde, closing the door behind him. "Well, now you gotta tell me the story too!".

And with that, Kenma told Kuroo the story, making them both come late for morning practice.
