{3rd Person's Point of View}

After Soma and Megumi's encounter with Hayama, everyone went busy preparing for the prelims. It was 5 in the morning, and you were currently in kitchen; trying the different spice the system was telling you.

"(Reader)?" a soft voice called out. You turned around and saw it was Ibusaki Shun, carrying a box of; you assumed chips of woods.

"Shun, Good morning! You're up so early!" You replied smiling.

"Yes, I went to the back yard to take some chips." Shun replied. "Am I bothering you?"

"Eh! No, are you also going to use the kitchen?" you asked and stopped when you saw that the table was filled with different bowls. "Ah! Wait, I'm going to clean up!" you informed and started taking all your stuffs.

"Thank you." Shun replied so you gave him a smile.

While he was arranging the tools he'll use, you proceeded in making some tea for him as you made coffee for yourself.

"Shun, here." You called out and gave him the cup of tea. He was surprised at first before accepting it and thanking you.

"(Reader) Have you decided on what curry dish you will make?" Shun asked out of nowhere.

"I haven't, I'm still testing out what I should use for spice." You replied before taking a sip of your coffee. "What about you Shun?"

"I'm also testing my dish. Won't you mind if I ask you to help me?" Shun asked.

"Taste testing? Of course, you can count on me!" you beamed. It was for a short moment but Shun smiled at you.

The two of you helped each other out, and it was your first-time hearing Shun talk a lot.

'I can't focus... What were we talking about again?' Shun thought while staring at you. You didn't notice this because, first of all his bangs were covering his eyes. Second, you were focused on what you were doing.

"So, Shun, did you get what I said?" you asked after pointing out what you thought about his smoking process.

"Hmm?" Shun hummed but stopped.

"Hey? Are you alright?" you asked and stopped to check up on him. He didn't respond so you leaned closer while waving your hand in front of him. "Shun? Earth to Shun?"

'Too close!!' Shun thought and blushed. You noticed that his face was red so you brought your right hand on his forehead and your left hand on yours.

"You're not sick. Ah! Are you hungry? Maybe I should cook something." You beamed. You stopped when you noticed how close you two were, you got curious on how Shun's eyes looks like.

You lift his hair up as you both stared at each other, Shun was a blushing mess and all he could think about was, 'I wish someone would walk through that door. This is embarrassing.'

"So pretty~" you squeaked out. "Your eyes are pretty Shun!" you added smiling.

At that moment, Shun's cheeks turned redder that Soma's. "Your eyes are prettier than mine (Reader)."

"Aww~ Thanks!" you replied before packing up your things.

"I love them." Shun mumbled.

"Excuse me, what was that?" you asked Shun. Shun tore his gaze away from you and pretended to be busy.

"Huh?" Shun hummed blushing.

"Ah never mind, I thought you said something." You replied smiling.

The two of you spent the whole day together teaching each other and talking about random things; which you weren't expecting.

"Let me help you." Shun said. You were about to refuse but he had already taken your stuffs.

"Thank you." You replied as he nodded. Shun accompanied you on your way to your room. He gave you your stuffs after you unlocked your door. "Thanks, Shun!"

"You're welcome. Are you going to the kitchen again tomorrow?" Shun asked. You were surprised at first before smiling.

"Yep. See you tomorrow." You beamed and Shun let out a small smile.

"Okay, good night (Reader)." Shun said.

"Good night Shun." You smiled before he paced his way to his room.
