At 3 am you got a call from one of Nakiri Azami’s loyal pawn. You were now outside the private area and waiting for announcements.

You heard someone laughing.

“Who’s there?” you asked while leaning on the wall.

“Why don’t you stop being stubborn and join Central?” a familiar voice said. It was Nakiri Azami.

“I told you I’ll think about it, right? Besides I would rather choose to be neutral.” you replied which made him laugh more.

“Why don’t we have a deal? If you beat one of my handpicked soldiers, I won’t bother you anymore nor expel you.” Azami said so your ears perked up.

“Sure, and if I lose?” you asked.

“You’ll join Central.” Azami said which made you frown. “Very well I shall take my leave and wait for the results.” Azami said then left.

“Isn’t that a win-win situation for you?” you heard someone said. You squinted your eyes to properly saw who it was. “I’m so honored to fight the Yamaguchi (Reader)-sama.”

He had a spiky orange but yellowish hair. His eyes were scarlet, and he had a piercing on his right brow. He also had a tattoo on his cheek.

“What? Who are you?” you asked raising a brow; though you already know who he is.

You saw Tsukasa Eishi, Kobayashi Rindo and Dojima Gin too.

“He’ll be one of the new Elite Ten soon, as well as you.” Eishi said.

“Kusunoki Rentaro at your service.” the guy said as he bowed his head.

“When do we start?” you asked then they looked at you.

“Right now!” Rentaro yelled.

“The official winner of this fight is Yamaguchi (Reader).” Gin announced which made you smile.

“Damn it, I lost!” Kusonoki Rentaro said while kneeling on the ground.

“Gomen, well Ei-senpai, Rin-senpai and Gin-san please send my regards to Azami-dono.” you said then smiled.

“(Reader)-chan why don’t you join us in Central?” Eishi asked.

“Yeah, let’s have fun together!” Rindo added so you smiled and shook your head.

“I’d love to but I disagree.” you said then smiled as you took your leave.

“Wait!” Rentaro yelled; You looked at him who was now tugging your shirt.

“What? You look like a dog right now Senpai.” you said laughing.

“Shut up! I lost to you and I consider that you’re someone not on the same level as me.” he replied while looking at the floor.

“Hah? You mean I’m on the lower level as you?” you asked raising a brow.

“What?! No!! I mean... I now respect you; I know I’m older than you but can I call you Master?” he asked. You stared at him frozen.

Rindo came to your side and laughed at Rentaro. “Are you begging (Nickname) to take you in as her dog?” Rindo said laughing.

“I’m not!!” Rentaro said as he grabbed Rindo’s collar.

“H-hey no fighting! Don’t fight please!” Eishi said as he comes rushing to you.

“Rentaro-senpai.” you called then he looked at you surprised. “I don’t mind you, calling me Master but it’s a bit embarrassing, just (Reader) is fine.”

Rentaro smiled and bowed to the floor. “Thank you Master (Reader)!”

“Ah no need to bow down! Stand up please.” you said which he did. “I have to go before anyone else find that I’m missing.” you said.

“Bye you all.”

“She’s too friendly.” Eishi said as he looked at (Reader)’s back.

“I agree! She’s kind too!” Rindo said while waving at (Reader).

“She’s cool too! If she was older than me, I’d definitely court her.” Rentaro said smirking.

Rindo then poked Rentaro’s side teasing him about courting (Reader).

Eishi felt discomfort and somehow angered. He didn’t like the thought of having someone court (Reader).

‘Why am I angry? Why am I feeling this way?’ the white-haired guy asked himself confusedly.

Dojima Gin was watching the teens while smiling.

‘Yamaguchi and Yukihira are probably the key to change Totsuki.’ he thought and smiled wider.
