{3rd Person's Point of View}

"I hope there are no snakes around or bears or-" you stopped when Soma laughed and repeatedly pat your shoulder.

"Don't worry (Reader)-chan, I'm going to protect you from them!" Soma replied.

"No, I will protect (Nickname)!" Kurokiba yelled as the both of them glared at each other.

"I will be the one to protect (Nickname). But anyway, you're both idiots. It's impossible to find snakes or bears here." Hayama replied.

"Oh right." Kurokiba mumbled.

"Yeah you're right. But if there's a snake you can count on me to protect you (Reader). Maybe we can even kill the snake and cook it." Soma replied laughing smugly.

"Uh no. I bet you're going to make something disgusting as what Joichiro-san did." you replied while picking some apples on a tree.

"What? How did you know?" Soma asked surprised.

"Soma, you're too obvious you know." you replied laughing.

"Though you're the only one who can read me." Soma mumbled which Hayama and Kurokiba heard.

"Hey!" / "Bastard!" both Hayama and Kurokiba yelled.

"What was that?" you asked while eating an apple.

"Nothing- Oh? Where'd you get that?" Soma asked while looking at the apples on your arms.

"On a tree? Here, it's sweet." you replied and gave each of them an apple.

"Oh thanks!" / "Thank you (Nickname)." / "Mharnkchu (Thank you.)" they said in unison, while Kurokiba was already eating it.

"This is nice, it looks like you can find this and that up here in the mountains. And with the fishing rods we borrowed from the old man, how about having a cooking showdown here?" Soma asked.

"It's my guaranteed to win then." Kurokiba replied.

"(Nickname)'s going to be the judge then." Hayama replied as they all agreed.

"Great! Food~ Food is life~" you said in a sing-song tune which made them smile.

"Apparently there's this 'River Master.' So, whoever hooks the fish first gets 10 points!" Soma replied. Kurokiba gave you his bandana, so you went behind him and tied the bandana on his head.

"What kind of rule is that?!" Hayama replied.

"My win is surely set in stone!" Kurokiba yelled. "I'm on a whole new level then you guys! For example, what do you call this?" Kurokiba asked while holding a some-sort of fishing net.

"Eh? A net?" Soma asked.

"A fishing net or fishing scoop?" you asked confused.

"It's a brailing scoop!" Kurokiba yelled at Soma before giving you a pat.

"Huh?" / "Eh?" / "What?" the three of you said. (Soma, Hayama and you)

"What about this?" Kurokiba asked while holding a rod.

"A fishing rod?" you and Soma asked in unison.

"An extended pole!" Kurokiba yelled at Soma and pat your head again.

"This is just a quiz. You can't tell our fishing skills like this." Hayama replied getting annoyed at Kurokiba.

"Grrrr...." Kurokiba growled while glaring at them before removing his bandana. "Well you're right about that." Kurokiba said lazily.

"That's what you're honest about?" Hayama asked.

Soma laughed, "You guys sure are weird." he said which made you choke on your apple.

"Don't compare me to you." Hayama said while patting your back.

Kurokiba gave you water while patting your head. "Like you can talk." he told Soma.

"Eh?" Soma asked confused. The four of you continued walking down the slope until you all reached the river.

"All right~ Start! I'm going to stay here and pick some edible plants." you replied smiling.

"Take care on your way." Hayama said.

"Of course." you replied and went roaming around; not far away from them though. An hour had passed but they still haven't talked to each other.

"I'm getting hungry..." you cried out and sat on the ground.

"Ah, that's a pretty tiny one." Soma said out of nowhere making you stand up. But you squinted your eyes and saw a really tiny fish.

"It's like the size of a worm Aki!" you cried out.

"Fishing is a Man's Battlefield! If you don't have the guts, you're just a snack to a fish!" Kurokiba yelled while wearing his bandana.

You rolled your eyes. "Excuse me, Kuro you haven't even caught a fish yet." you replied.

Kurokiba then removed his bandana, "It is my first time, fishing here in a river." he lazily said.

"I can't find a comeback for this." Hayama mumbled.

"Isn't it tiring to take your bandana off and on all the time?" Soma asked and stopped when his rod moved. "Looks like something good took bait!" he said and pulled the rod.

Soma then got pulled by the fish; and also because of the river's current. "Be careful, Yukihira!" Hayama yelled and rushed to pull Soma by the waist which made you squeak.

"Oh, Hayama Sorry! Hey could this one be..." Soma said as a big fish jumped out from the water then went back. "The River's Master!!"

"Kurokiba! Stop looking and help us!" Hayama yelled.

"Grab the net!" Soma yelled.

"Net? Oh, you mean the brailing scoop?" Kurokiba replied nonchalantly which made you laugh.

"Before that put on your bandana!!!" Soma and Hayama yelled in unison. Kurokiba went to pull Soma by the waist, and you on the other hand tried pulling them by their shirts.

Soma was pulling the rod; Kurokiba and Hayama pulling Soma and you pulling them back. "Don't waver!!" Kurokiba yelled.

"My arms can't anymore!" Soma yelled.

"Don't waver yet Yukihira!" Hayama replied.

"Not enough yet!" Kurokiba yelled.

"We can't! This is impossible!" you yelled still pulling them.

"(N-Nickname)! Pull harder!" Hayama groaned.

"I-I'm trying!" you yelled but you all stopped when the River's Master jumped causing you all to lose grip as the water current washed all of you down to the waterfalls.

"Crap." you muttered out while standing. "What do we do now?" you asked them as they all stared at each other before sighing.

"This is pointless, let's go back." Hayama said as all of you agreed.

"But... Do you know how to get back?" Soma asked.

Silence overcame the four of you before you burst into laughter. "I know a way out." you replied while squeezing the water out of your clothes.

"Guh. We haven't caught anything." Kurokiba said while following you.

"And I'm hungry!!" you whined.

"Ya-hoo! It's fall!" you heard Yuki cheered.

"This gets me fired up!" Ikumi yelled. As Soma went through the bushes.

"(Reader)-chan? Yukihira?! Kurokiba-kun and Hayama-kun too?"

"Now that I think about it, the four of you weren't around this whole time!" Yuki exclaimed.

"Oh, it's Nikumi." Soma said while staring up.

"Yo!" you greeted them.

"Y-You! W-What were you doing until now?" Ikumi asked embarrassed and covered herself.

"The River's Master was pretty hard opponent." Soma said.

"And in the end, it got away." you replied.

"Hah?" / "That sounds rough." / "Are you an idiot?"

You were heading to the ladies' hot spring but you got pulled by Alice once she saw you.

"(Reader)-chan, let's go try the hot springs there!" Alice said pointing out of nowhere.

"No, it's the boys' turn in that spring." you replied pulling her back.

"You mustn't Miss!" Hisako said pulling you and Alice.

"Let me go! Don't drag me into this mess! W-Wait! Your towel's slipping! HEY ALICE!" you yelled when she left her towel behind and pulled you with her.

You got dragged inside the spring as your eyes feaste- I mean...

You got dragged inside the spring and everyone inside froze, Alice on the other hand didn't mind and soaked into the spring. "Uhm... Hi?" you waved at them.

"(Reader)-chan why are you just standing there?" Alice asked. "Ahh~ This feels nice! Come join me (Reader)-chan!"

"Ojo... It's the boys' turn right now." Kurokiba said while eyeing you.

"Ahem... What are you doing here (Nickname)?" Hayama asked blushing.

"Oh! (Reader)-chan! Are you going to join us for a bath?" Soma smugly asked so Hayama and Kurokiba hit his head.

"Uh- No I just got dragged here! I didn't see anything if you're going to ask that. Anyways- I'm going now." you said and turned around. But before you could slide the door open, Alice dragged you into the spring.

"What- Alice!" You yelled while she giggled from behind and tied your hair up into a bun. "Let's go to the other bath." you said and got out of the bath.

But because Author is a sly rock, you slipped on her. You were about to fall backwards but stopped when you bumped into three rocky chests. { ( •̀ .̫ •́ )✧ }

"You didn't twist your ankle, right?" Hayama asked worriedly while holding you by your left hand.

"You smell nice." Kurokiba said while holding your right hand.

"Are you alright (Reader)-chan?" Soma asked while his left arm was wrapped on your waist and the other supporting your back.

"Fufufufu~" Alice giggled by the side.

"Ahm... Yes." you replied before fainting.

"(Reader)-chan?!" / "(Nickname)!?" they yelled.
