You were a simple cat from a simple town living with your mother and father.

You lived a seemingly normal life, completely unaware of your father's past.

In your eyes, your father was a simple man whom you admired for his hardworking nature and love for you all.

One night however, you were awoken  by a the sounds of swords clashing.

When you woke your mother ran in and immediately pulled you out of bed and carried you out of your home which was also burning.

As your mother ran with you into the night you saw your father battling against an odd and terrifying figure.

Ibuki Douji:

All you could do was cry and scream as you watched this woman sever your father's head.

The girl then seemingly seemed to notice you looking at her and grinned letting her sharp teeth shine and that grin had become the source of many Nightmares from that day.

You and your mother made your way to some kind of temple ran by a friend of your father's who was an experienced Swordsman.

There the man revealed that he and your father were once partners and worked as guards for an emperor.

Your father retired and moved away to live a normal life with a family.

Unfortunately your father made a lot of enemies and while most of them were dead at this point apparently one was still alive and wanted revenge as far as anyone knew.

Your father was hoping he'd be able to avoid something like this happening and just live out the rest of his days, but just in case he couldn't he had a plan to send his wife and child to this temple.

You were shocked to hear this and immediately wanted to take up sword fighting in order to better protect those you cared about.

Your father's friend agreed unaware that your true intent was revenge against the woman who killed your father.

As you grew up and became better, you crafted your own blade.

Older you with your sword:

Your mother got sick and died eventually and you decided to head off on your own.

Now you could search for the woman known as Ibuki Douji as well as something else interesting.

You had heard of the "Wishing Star" something that could grant any wish.

So you decided to find that as well, you will wish for Ibuki to have never existed so that way you could have your family back.

Unaware that a man named "Big Jack Horner" had hired this Oni to track down the Wishing Star as well.
