Most of us, when there is a teacher or your crush around we behaved well and show our best behavior to give a good lasting impression. We try to tame our beast inside us to avoid judgments, criticism, humiliation, and possible reprimands. We act nicely in public because we feel like we are being observed and try to be humane as society expects us to be. Gazes of someone trigger our intense feelings of shame and anxiety about what we are doing. But even an image of staring human eyes can also do the trick. Psychologists called this the Watching Eye Effect. But not all are affected by this effect. Some can become self-conscious if they are being watched even pictures of creepy staring eyes. They feel like there is a spy behind that image, observing.

Also, this method can be a good action plan in reducing the possibility that drunkards would shamelessly urinate your newly-painted whitewall or some foolish kid vandalizing on it. They might at least feel guilty and would discontinue their intentions if they saw a posted watching eyes. But if it is not effective enough, you might try recording it and publicly shame on social media and destroy their reputation and let that shameless species commit suicide. Just do it for humanity. We do not need those species.

Just kidding. ;)
