*JIMIN POV*

the ravenette defenselessly plummeted to the ground as jimin towered over him. his right cheek stung with sharp pain due to jimin's repeated slaps out of anger.

"i'll fucking kill you!" the small male screamed. his piercing, high voice made jungkook recoil.

jungkook wanted to retaliate with a punch so badly, but it just seemed unfair. jimin was measured below his shoulders, meaning it would be equivalent to brawling with a child.

"why do you keep slapping me?!" jungkook furrowed his brows. "i did nothing!"

"nothing, huh?" jimin let out a scoff full of pure wickedness. there was nothing more he desired to do than murder and bury jungkook with his bare hands.

he kicked jungkook's body to the wall with a mighty amount of force. "taehyung wasn't lying about anything, you worthless piece of shit."

"c-could we just talk this out like mature adults?" jungkook winced in unease.

considering the fact that the ravenette just had a tattoo done, this was probably the most inconvenient time to fight.

jimin lifted the younger up, carelessly throwing him on the couch. he spat on jungkook's eye and growled at how resistant he was.

"god! if you're gonna hurt my best friend at least put up a fucking fight."

jungkook attempted to catch his breath. "i-i didn't hurt him."

"yes, you fucking did!" jimin's arms tensed up and his muscles greatly bulged. he smashed his fist into the nearest glass table. hundreds of shards fell on the floor with the softest of tinkling.

the ravenette trembled at his doing. "that table cost my parents eight thousand dollars..."

jimin cracked his knuckles as he eyed the newly destructed table. "and i'll do it again."

jungkook sighed. he was going nowhere with the elder.

the blonde male leaned back on the wall. anger drooled with silent precision from his lips. nothing could overpower the rage he had towards the ravenette.

"taehyung didn't lie...not even once."

jimin brought his head down in second-hand embarrassment. jungkook was truly a joke.

he didn't deserve taehyung.

"but that's an empty statement. you say stuff like that, yet can't show proof?" jungkook asked. "dokyeom would never do that."

a maniacal expression smeared onto jimin's face. he was completely devoid from conscious now. all he wanted was for jungkook to hurt.

his fist connected with jungkook's already wounded cheek. a chipped piece of his tooth flew out from jimin's force.

"you want proof?!" he yelled. "you want to see the fucking text messages between us?! the text messages where i was begging him to tell you about what dokyeom was doing?!"

"jimin, listen—"

"what's going on?" a small voice spoke.

the two men sensed a small presence from behind their backs. jungkook sighed in relief at the sight of his younger brother.

"channie, what are you doing up this late?" he kneeled down in front of the child.

jimin scoffed at the change of his demeanor. it was astonishing how his nasty ways went away when it came to this little kid.

"you have a kid too?" jimin inquired. "damn, you are truly a train wreck."

"he's my little brother."

jimin gave channie a slight smile. although he was related to the spawn of satan, that didn't cancel out his strong fondness for children.

"i heard noise. who are you?" channie questioned jimin with wide, innocent eyes. "are you jungkook's new boyfriend?"

the blonde patted channie's shoulder. "no, sweetie. i'd rather get hit by a car."

jungkook shook his head in annoyance.

the child nodded, understanding. "where's taehyung? he didn't make me my lunch today."

jimin released a petty laugh at his statement. "oh, that's a great question—"

jungkook lifted his hand up, signaling for jimin to refrain from speaking.

"he had to go. it was for the best."

channie shrugged. "yeah. it really was."

"what?" the ravenette's eyes wandered from his brother to jimin. he blinked, refocusing his confused eyes on channie.

"chan, what do you mean by that?"

channie looked down at his halloween-themed socks. he stayed wordless but his nervous guise put all his thoughts on display.

jungkook murmured his words at a slower pace. "what did you mean by that?"

his younger brother glanced up at a curious jimin. the blonde left his input out of this, but he was still just as interested as jungkook.

"it's just, dokyeom had been acting really scary towards him."

jungkook's heart dropped to his feet. "what?"

"yeah," channie proceeded. "a few weeks ago i caught him taking a bunch of pictures of taehyung naked. it was so weird."

the ravenette became serious-faced. his body was too much in shock to assert any control.

"h-he was?"

jimin took advantage of jungkook's shock to laugh directly in his face.

"why does a toddler have more common sense than you?"

channie's words squeezed at jungkook's brain, obliterating the thinking he needed to do. the regret and guilt sat not only on his chest but inside his brain.

the ravenette gulped before making eye contact with the blonde who was proudly smirking.

taehyung was telling the truth all this time.

the vein in the ravenette's neck protruded. "i am such a fucking dumbass."

"and you have a pimple on your forehead," jimin pointed out.

stress ran through jungkook as if his mind was a set of train tracks. there were way too many insights on the situation to process at once.

"i am so sorry," he muttered to jimin.

the merciless glint in jimin's eyes glimmered.

"i don't forgive you. shut up," he answered. "either way, it's not my apology to accept. i'm not taehyung."

jungkook nodded. "so you want me to find taehyung?"

jimin sighed. "yes."

how did this dude pass the third grade?

channie sat himself down on the edge of the couch, swinging his legs back and forth. "does that mean i'll get to come with you guys?"

"no, you have school tomorrow. i'll have to get seokjin to babysit you," jungkook ordered.

jimin stepped in. "but doesn't dokyeom live with you guys?"

"yes?"

"look. i know i just met this channie kid, but i seriously don't want dokyeom to have any contact with him. i'm not helping you find taehyung unless you kick him out."

the ravenette's breath hitched. that was a sudden ultimatum.

"alright, i'll get seokjin to do it tomorrow. he knows how to deal with people," the ravenette assured. "we just need to find taehyung. now."

"then it's been decided," jimin complied. "you're driving."

jungkook huffed. "but my gas tank is almost
empty—"

three booming knocks hit the front door. it was a blatant sign of irritation.

"who the hell is that?" jimin inquired.

the ravenette approached the door with no hesitation, whooshing it open to reveal a half-asleep, agitated male.

jungkook snickered. he forgot yoongi was his next-door-neighbor.

yoongi was slumped as he entered the home. "you guys are being so fucking loud, and for what? i have a threesome scheduled for this morning."

"who even are you?" jimin spoke up.

yoongi looked to his left.

the two gazed in each other's eyes, not a word being uttered by either of them. yoongi was lost within a breathless paradise.

he leaned in closer, lifting up jimin's chin with his index finger. "and who's this cutie?"

"he's nowhere near cute," jungkook grunted. "he is pure evil reincarnated."

jimin smacked yoongi's finger away from under his chin before turning away in nervousness. a tint of pink was smeared across his cheeks. it was a foreign feeling.

"w-we have to go," he muttered.

yoongi chuckled at his shyness. he could already tell jimin was an interesting one.

"where are you guys off to?"

jungkook threw his rain jacket back on. the temperature was progressively dropping, so he needed to avoid any precautions.

"we're gonna go find taehyung."

"i'll drive!" yoongi blurted out.

"don't you have some dick appointment tomorrow?" jungkook reminded the elder.

yoongi brought his attention back to jimin. the blonde had his legs crossed, trembling at the elder's unforeseen confidence. yoongi laughed.

"i think i'll cancel."
