Chapter 11

Brooke's POV

Finally! It was Saturday, which means it's movie night. After placing The Lion King into the DVD player I sat down onto the sofa with my Eeyore blanket and a bowl of popcorn. Just as Timon and Pumba were going to start singing Hukuna Matata, the door bell rang. Frowning, I got up to open the door.

Adam's POV

Brooke opened the door wearing a pair of spandex shorts and a plain T-shirt. D*mn I thought as I stole a glance at her long toned legs.

"Uh, aren't you supposed to be ready for the party today?" I asked looking her up and down.

"What party?!"

"The one that I told you about,"

"You never told me about any party!"

"Well, uh, surprise! Get dressed we're going to a party,"

"Do I have to go?"

"Yes, yes you do," I said stepping into her house.

"But, I was watching a movie," She complained.

"The Lion King?" I raised an eyebrow, "Well, too bad now get dressed or I will dress you,"

"Nah, I'll just sit right here and watch the rest of my movie," She replied as she flopped onto the couch.

"Someone really wants me to undress them," I waggled my eyebrows as I picked her up bridal style and headed towards the stairs.

"You suck," Brooke pouted as I climbed up the stairs. Ha! She can't kick me in the balls now can she!

Once we got to her room I lightly dropped her onto her bed. "Ok, go pick out a dress or something to wear."

"I'm feeling a little sleepy now," She faked a yawn and began to close her eyes. D*mn, she's stubborn as h*ll.

I rolled my eyes and walked to her closet and grabbed the first dress I saw. I threw the dress at her, but she didn't move. Either she's asleep or she's ignoring me.

"Brooke! Wake up!" I yelled.

"No," She mumbled. Yup, she was ignoring me.

I smirked as I came over to the bed where Brooke was lounging and felt her back for a bra clasp. Good thing she had a bra on or else my plan wouldn't work. I then held the bottom of her shirt and gradually moved it higher.

"HEY! What are you doing!" Brooke yelled as she swatted my hands away.

"I said that I would dress you if you didn't get dressed," I grinned.

She scowled, picked up the dress, and walked to the bathroom to change. Maybe it would be a good idea to turn off that movie I thought as I turned towards the stairs.

After a few minutes Brooke tumbled down the stairs.

"I'm ready now," She grumbled. Hey, I pick really good dresses. The dress is navy and silver, and hugged her in all the right places.

"Alrighty then," I smirked, "Well, I'm pretty sure the party is just starting, good thing I came here early,"

                                      --------------------------------------------------------------

Brooke's POV

Ugh. I can't believe I let Adam drag into this. Adam parked his car a block away from the party.

"Come on out, or do I have to carry you?" He called.

"I don't want go to this party," I pouted stubbornly.

"Why not?" Adam asked patiently.

" 'Cause I'm probably not going to know anyone but you there," I sighed.

"Ok well, I promise to stay with you ok?" He said biting his lip. Geez why is this boy so sexy? Did I really just think that?

"Ok, pinky promise?" I asked holding out my pinky.

"Pinky promise. Hey weren't you supposed to tell me what happened to you first boyfriend?" Adam said.

"Oh! Don't we need to get to a party?" I said quickly as I stepped out of the car.

As we walked through the door the first thing I noticed was the beer. "Adam! You didn't tell me there was gonna be beer!" I yelled over the music.

"You never asked," He yelled back.

"But you're supposed to tell me these things. Gimme your keys I'm gonna go sit in you car again," I cried.

"Well, you're already here, might as well have fun; you only live once you know," He declared.

"Well, I'm probably going to sit in a corner with some cats the whole time, anyway," I groaned.

"But you have me so come on let's dance or something," He said dragging me towards a large group of people grinding against each other.

"I don't dance," I said looking at my silver flats, "Why don't you go, I don't wanna ruin your fun,"

"Um, ok," He said as he disappeared into the crowd.

I sighed as I wandered towards the kitchen and sat down on one of the bar stools but, as soon as I did a muscular guy with broad shoulders came up to me.

"Hey, can I get you a drink," He gesturing to the booze behind me.

"No, I don't drink," I said shaking my head.

"Well, what's a pretty girl doin' here all alone," He asked.

"I dunno," I said nonchalantly. Peering closer I saw his brown hair and instantly thought of that old saying; tall, dark and handsome, 'cause this guy was the exact definition of it.

"Do you want to dance?" He asked.

"I don't even know your name, why would I want to dance?" I ranted.

"Oh, I thought you knew who I am," He said.

"Cocky much?" I rolled my eyes.

"Feisty, huh?" He retorted.

"I still don't know your name," I huffed.

"Blake Crawford. You?" He stated.

"Brooke Speir," I responded.

"So, would you like to dance now? Oh, and can I have your number?" He asked persistently.

"I would love to except I can't dance, and sure," I said shrugging. It wouldn't hurt to give him my number.

"Well, I can teach you," He said.

"I have a boyfriend," I swiftly said.

"And I have a math test on Monday," He retorted.

"What does that have to do with this?" I asked, obviously confused.

"Oh, I thought we were listing things that we could cheat on," He laughed.

"My boyfriend's right behind you," I said awkwardly.

Blake turned around and muttered, "Adam,"

"Blake," Adam seethed.

"You guys know each other?" I asked after giving Adam a quick peck.

"Yeah. Blake's on the football team for Westmont," Adam said mentioning our rival school.

"So, this is your boyfriend? I'm pretty sure you can do better," Blake smirked.

"Why are you talking to my girlfriend anyway, Crawford?" Adam demanded as he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"Just wondering if she wanted to dance," Blake grinned.

"She will never dance with you," Adam almost yelled.

"Hey, well here's my number just 'cause," Blake smirked, handing me a piece of paper.

"Hey! We need three more people for spin the bottle wanna play? Well too bad," A random guy said as he pulled all three of us towards a different room.

"Ok you all know how to play right?" A blonde haired girl with super short shorts asked. A few people shook their heads and she sighed. "OK. When you spin the bottle, you have to kiss the person that it points to if it's the opposite gender, if it's the same gender, you can spin again."

"I'll start!" squeaked a petite girl sitting next to the blonde as she reached for the empty bottle in the middle of the circle.

I sighed as it landed on the guy next to Adam. She blushed as he gave her a short kiss and the game played on. Luckily, the bottle never reached me, yet. It was now Blake's turn. He smiled at me after he spun the bottle. Soon the bottle stopped. On me.

"Aw h*ll no!" Adam yelled pushing me away from him.

"That's the rules," Blake smirked.

"You can't kiss my girlfriend" Adam frowned.

"It's the rules," Blake grinned.

"Dude, just let him kiss her. It's only one kiss," Some random guy with ocean blue eyes called.

"Ok, just one kiss," Adam grimaced.

Blake smirked and leaned in giving me a long slow kiss, probably just to rub it into Adam's face.

"Come on, we need to go now," Adam says calmly.

"Ok, uh bye Blake," I called to him.

"Bye, oh and I'm glad you came," Blake smiled.

"Hey! What was that about?" I asked Adam once we were back inside his car.

"Nothing," He dismissed me as my phone rang.

"Wait I gotta get this," I said as I took my phone out of my purse.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hey," a suave voice called out.

"Who is this?" I asked again.

"You don't recognize me?" He said.

"Nope, so why don't you tell me?" I frowned.

"Fiesty, huh?" He said and suddenly I recognized this person.

"Blake?" I questioned the caller.

"Yup," He said and I could almost imagine his killer smile.

"Ok, well why are you calling me?" I said.

"I wanted to see if you gave me the right number," He replied.

"Well, you got your answer and I gotta go," I smiled into the phone.

"Why, is Adam with you?" He asked.

"Yea, so bye," I said before hanging up on him.

"Who was that?" Adam asked raising an eybrow. Dang, that boy looks so sexy when he does that.

"No one," I said.

"It was Blake, wasn't it," He accused.

"Why do you care?" I muttered to myself.

Apparently he heard, "Because he's a douche,"

"Hey, you didn't tell me why you were being so mean to him at the party," I said.

"It's nothing," He sighed.

"It's something," I sang.

"It's nothing," He grunted.

"Tell me-e," I sang again stretching the ending of 'me'.

"No," He frowned.

"Yes!" I smiled.

"No,"

"Yes,"

"No,"

"Yes,"

"No,"

"Yes,"

"Ok! I'll tell you," He cried out.

"Yay! Ok, start talking pretty boy," I chuckled as he groaned playfully.

"Ok uh, well he's on the football team at Westmont, and he's a player so stay away from him," He said.

"I know that and so are you. Why do you despise him so much?" I asked impatiently.

"The whole team hates him. Do you remember last year when Chase broke his wrist during the game? Blake did that, but he didn't get suspended because they didn't have enough evidence that it was him," Adam sighed.

"So that's why you hate him?" I asked quietly.

"Yeah," He mumbled, but some part of me knew that there was more to the story.

OK well this was an uneventful chapter.... sorry =/

I thought Blake would look something like Josh Hutcherson so... there's a picture ----->

Do you like Blake? Should I include him a little more in another chapter?
