Jennie’s Pregnancy

“Good morning baby” I kissed Jennie once she got out of our room, rubbing her eyes with her right hand while the other one combing her messy hair.

“Morning” she replied and seated sluggishly in her chair.

“Where’s Lily?”

“She’s at Irene’s baby”

She nods, I smiled as I put the cooked egg and bacon in her plate. Seating silently in my chair I observe the four months old pregnant Jennie in front of me, still stunning and beautiful.

“What the hell are you looking at?” she snob

I laughed

Did I forget to tell she’s still a dinosaur? But I still love her though, so much. I hope her hormones for today won’t make their comeback or else I will spend again another night either in my hotel room or at Irene’s house, even our seven years old Lily already know how to save herself from seeing her mommy turn into dinosaur by staying the night at Irene’s, that kid.

“Nothing baby, you’re so beautiful” I smiled wide, slicing nervously my egg, praying in silence she won’t throw a damn plate on my face.

“Hmmm I know, I love you” she smiled

Of course baby Jennie in the morning is my favourite.

“Get my massager Lisa, my back hurts” I felt a kick on my side, I avert my eyes from the movie to Jennie on my side, lying flat on my sofa while massaging her baby bump

“Okay baby” I kiss her stomach before getting her massager in our room

“Here”

“Thanks baby” she said and puts the massager on the table, she sits up straight and offered her back on me “Can you massage me?”

“But what about the massager-

“I don’t need it, I want your hands, come on massage me” she groaned

I sighed and obediently massage her back

“Lisa! I want my milk!” I heard her shouted from our room, I stop typing on my laptop and stressfully  massage my head.

“Baby I’m at my office, can you get it yourself please? I have a trial tomorrow! I’m busy!” I continued typing

“Are you getting my milk or do you want to study your case in Irene’s house?!” she yelled

I groaned loud and hurriedly stand up, getting her favourite milk from our kitchen just next to our room. Jennie was lying flat on our bed reading a fashion magazine, face was smiling so wide and it immediately vanish once she see me handling her milk to her

Just when she was about to reach it I intentionally hand it away “Thank you kiss?” I tried

I know she’s a whole fucking mood when it comes to evening, the first three months of her pregnancy were a disaster, god knows how many times I was kick out from our house for not getting her milk, for not answering her call, for forgetting to turn off the lights, for not tucking her to bed

She just rolled her eyes and continued reading the magazine, disregarding her milk. “Forget it Lisa”

I flinched, Lisa

“Lisa! My towel please!”

“Okay!” I gave her her towel

“Have you seen my magazine?”

“Here baby, you forgot it in the bathroom” I gave her her magazine

“Can you massage me please?” I massage her

“Can you cook me pork adobo and Sinigang?”

What the fuck is  pork Adobo and Sinigang?

"Can you dance Yummy? Please? Baby wanted to see you dance"

Fine.

"Baby you look so hot and stupid!"

"Lalisa baby can you sing Into the Unknown?" What? Really?

This is getting stupid, fine. I jut hope Jin won't caught me doing stupid things

“Can you draw me Olaf?”

Is she thinking straight or- Ugh hormones. Fine!

“This looks like a poop Lisa, it’s not Olaf”

“Baby I’m a lawyer, I’m not an artist”

“You’re useless” what the?

I only watch her stomping her way into our room and called Lily “Lily! Bed time!”

Our daughter came running towards her with her teddy bear, she’s scared of her mommy of course, we are scared of her actually

“Lisa where’s my milk?!”

“In the bed table baby!”

“I don’t want it! Come here!”

“Baby I have a case!”

“Well choose then! You’re case or me?!”

I actually didn’t sign up for this, hell

“Yes baby?” I seated beside her, pulling her in my arms and kissing her cheeks, she’s wearing this pouty kid-like face, like wanting something or craving for something.

In her months of being pregnant meaning months of slavery for me,  I don’t care though, I love her and our soon to be little one.

“Can you buy me a mango please?” she pouted even more

I blink, a lot, choosing whether to just nod my head and probably travel the whole world looking for a fucking mango in this late hour of the night or just tell her the truth and be kick out again from my house

“Err baby, you know, eat-ting mango in this hour of the night  may not be good for the baby” I excused and prepared my ears

She pulled away from my embrace “What?” she huffed

God I hate this

I held her arm “Yes baby” I kissed her forehead and caressed her baby bump, I can’t wait for you little one, your pregnant mommy is one hell of a tyrannosaurus so grow up fast please and be born already?

“Is that so?” she scoffed, looking at me like I am somehow growing another head above my head.

“Uhm yes? Didn’t you remember what the doctor said?” I excused and pulled her close to me again.

“Hmm I don’t remember” she buried her face on my chest, I caressed her head and started humming her a song, I know she’ll fall asleep soon.

“I love you” I whispered before I laid her down in our bed.

Six months of being with pregnant Jennie, this emotional Jennie is hell much worse than a dinosaur Jennie

“Baby don’t cry, I’m here I won’t leave please don’t cry” I wipe her tears away, god I hate seeing her cry

“I heard you and Jin talking and you said I’m a dinosaur, do I look like a dinosaur huh? You frog bitch..” she slightly punch my chest, damn Jin, I will kick his ass

"What? I didn't said that"

"I definitely heard you said it! You said you can't go investigate today because your Jennie dinosaur also needs you, don't lie!"

“Baby  you heard me wrong, I was talking about this dinosaur’s fossils the scientist found in Africa and they named it Jenny, okay? It’s Jenny, not Jennie. Baby you are too beautiful to be a dinosaur” I lied

Me, Attorney Lalisa Manoban who vowed to the court to tell the truth and only the truth, started to learn how to lie for the sake of my wife, I laughed, oh the things I can do for her damn it.

“What’s funny?” she pulled away and stared at me

“Nothing baby” I kiss her nose, down to her lips. Jennie tasted sweet and I love it, it was just supposed to be a quick peck but she pulls my nape and started to deepen the kiss and wraps her arms around my neck

“Is Lily already asleep?” I cup her cheeks

She nods slightly and started to unbuckle my belt,
I smiled.

I'm lying a while ago, this is actually my favourite side of preggy Jennie

I laid her down and started kissing every part of her.

“Lisa wake up! The baby is kicking!” Jennie suddenly squealed and gets my hand to placed it on her bump “Feel it?” she asked, eyes sparkling and face smiling, while I probably look like a tired lion who just woke up from her deep sleep

I smiled wide and placed my ears against her belly “Hi baby Louis good morning, are you kicking because you’re mommy is so loud last night? I’m sorry”

“Yah” she push my shoulders and glared at me

Oh no Lisa stop, you might trigger the hormones

“Kidding baby, how’s your sleep?”  I kiss her lips

“Fine, I’m good” she caress her belly

“Good morning mommy and daddy!” Lily went inside our room and sandwiched herself between Jennie and me, she kissed her mommy first before me, then seated on my lap and kiss her little brother “Good morning baby Louis, oh! Mommy he is kicking!” she squealed

Jennie laughed and caress her brown hair, I really love waking up every morning seeing this sight, I will probably never get tired of it, I will never get tired loving this two woman of my life, and of course our upcoming little man

“Oh my god Lisa!!!” Jennie shriek out of nowhere

I sprinted fast from my office into our room, disregarding the tragic fall of Jennie’s favourite vase across the kitchen. My eyes widened when I saw Jennie sitting on our bed, holding her lower back and hurriedly she points the thing on the floor

I froze

“My water just broke!! Call an ambulance! Or a doctor! Or the hospital!”

“Wh-what?”

“Just fucking god damn it Lisa you are so useless! Aww! It hurts!” she stands up and grabs the phone herself from the table

I run into her “Wa-it baby calm down and just sit!”

“You fucking sit! Call Jisoo unnie and Chaeyoung! And mom and dad, then Hanbin and Irene! Then get our things!”

Despite panicking I get our things, carried Jennie to my car and let Matthew drove to the hospital and called each person whoever it is was save in my contacts

“Hey Jennie’s gonna blow! Come to the hospital imme-Awww!” I grab my hand from Jennie’s tight grip, god she’s killing me

“What are you saying I’m gonna blow!? I am giving birth to your son Lisa! I’m not blowin- aslkajakkjhkjskdhksh!!!” she cussed in indefinite words and finally broke my hand

“Hey baby calm down, this will be okay, you will be okay” I wipe her sweat and tears and hug her, ordering Matthew to drove faster to the hospital

When we get inside my family was already there, Lily with her grandma and grandpa, Hanbin and Irene along with Jisoo and Chaeyoung –and Jin?

“Ma’am you can’t go inside, you have to wait here” the nurse stops me, seeing Jennie being laid in a stretcher disappeared from my sight.

“Lis she’ll be alright, you have to calm your ass” Hanbin taps my shoulder

“Oh my god what happened to your hand?!” Irene caught my hand, probably broken and murdered hand

“It’s nothing, Jin what are you doing here?” I ask Jin

“Uh boss you called? Saying Jennie’s gonna blow?”

I scratch my nape and seated worriedly in the benches where Irish and Danniel were sitting, along with my daughter who hurriedly got out from her grandpa’s lap and seated on mine.

“Will mommy be okay and baby Louis, daddy?” she ask worried

I nod and took a deep breath, “It’s okay baby, mommy will be okay and baby Louis”  I kiss her lips

“Thank you for watching her this night mom”

“It’s okay Lis and you should stop panicking, Jennie will be alright” she holds my hand

As soon as the doctor came out I hurriedly went inside to check on Jennie, lying on her bed while holding our little man in her arms

“Come and see” she said soft

Carrying our Lily in my arms I placed her next to her mommy and seated on the chair next to her bed,  then look at my tiny little man “He’s so tiny, and hairy and he exactly looks like you baby” I kissed her forehead

God he’s beautiful

“You want to hold him?”

“No I’m scared, I might break him or something”

“Don’t be a pussy baby, hold him” before I could react, Jennie placed little Louis already in my arms.

“He’s so cute daddy!” Lily squeaked, Jennie laughed and hug her, both eyes were on me. I can’t take my eyes off on the little one sleeping peacefully in my arms.

“Aww he’s so cute, he has your nose Jen  and oh! He also has your lips!” Jisoo peaked a head from my back, Chaeyoung was on her side then Irene and Hanbin stading beside them, Irish and Danniel were talking to the doctor, Jin was taking a picture at the corner.

“You’re right Jisoo! He also looks like me!” Irene shrieked, “Can I also hold the baby Lis?”

“No Irene! Me first! Right Rj?”Hanbin

“Can I also hold him?” Jisoo

“Me too!” Chaeyoung

“Okay okay that’s enough! Jennie and the baby will have a rest for tonight, the doctor said we all can return tomorrow morning” Irish butt in and smiled, and kiss her daughter in her head and told her to rest.

I handed baby Louis to the nurse before getting Lily on Jennie’s chest, it was already midnight and she already fell asleep along with her exhausted mommy

“We can take Lily to my house Lis, you stay here to look for Jennie” Irene got her from my arms, I nod and kiss her forehead before letting them go home.

“Is my wife will be alright?” I ask the nurse

“Yes she will be fine ma’am, she just needs rest for tonight”

“Okay, thank you” I seated and held Jennie’s hand. Watching her sleeping so peacefully for the rest of the night, I smiled

Another chapter of our life will begin again.

And so after we got home

"Oh my god Lisa what happened to my vase?!!"
