Jungkook didn't leave his dorm after the breakup for a week. After the week was up and he decided to go out, he wasn't the Jungkook everyone knew. Instead of stylish clothes, he wore a baggy hoodie and sweats. Instead of a happy mood and cheerful smile, he wore dried tearstains and an emotionless look. If there was every emotion, it was sadness. Instead of being the social butterfly everyone knew him to be, he was silent and never spoke more than a few words, and that was only if he had to.

Everyone pitied the broken boy, especially Taehyung. When people questioned Jungkook or Siwon on the breakup, Jungkook wouldn't reply and Siwon just said that someone tried to come between them and he couldn't take the stress. Therefore, they pitied Jungkook more than Siwon, knowing Jungkook never wanted to end this.

Taehyung hadn't had it the easiest either. He hated himself for causing Jungkook this much pain and Jenny was clinging to him like a koala, and not the cute kind. It's hard to think up how to apologize when your girlfriend is clinging to you and being needy. Taehyung knew it was probably because Jenny sensed their inevitable breakup coming and wanted to try to save it.

It wasn't possibly, they both knew that, but she was still trying.

Jungkook hadn't eaten lunch in the lunch room when he was on his week off, and when he finally came back, he was never without Lisa. At least, not until today. Lisa had to make up a test she failed, leaving Jungkook at lunch alone.

He just sat at the lunch table with his head rested on his crossed arms, his hood up. Everyone was too nervous to say anything, so they didn't. Jungkook's table was one away from Taehyung's and Taehyung felt even worse seeing the younger like this.

Jenny was currently on Taehyung's lap, kissing his cheek, trying to get him to kiss her, but Taehyung was just staring at Jungkook. Jenny grinded down on Tae's lap and nipped at his neck, desperately trying to get some reaction out of him, but to no avail. She huffed and sat up straight.

"What the fuck is up with you? You've been unresponsive for weeks? You should be paying attention to me, not whatever is on your mind! I'm more important asshole!", Jenny almost yelled, drawing some attention from people, including Jungkook. Taehyung took a deep breath and let out a grim chuckle.

"You know what Jenny, you're the biggest attention whore I've ever met", Taehyung said.

"Excuse me?", She scoffed.

"You're so concerned with the fact that I've been paying less attention to you and say that the stuff on my mind isn't important, that you haven't even asked me what the hell is on my mind!", Taehyung said," You haven't even tried, you're just concerned about me fucking you and pampering you and making sure you feel good, you don't even bother to ask about my problems! But god forbid when you have one, tiny, small, insignificant problem, all hell breaks loose, and I have to hear you go on and on and on about it for hours!"

"Why are you being like this?", Jenny practically yelled.

"Because I've been trying to think of how to apologize to my best friend for ending his fucking relationship and all you're concerned with is getting me into bed! Lay the fuck off Jenny!", Taehyung yelled before getting up, making Jenny fall off his lap. He walked over to Jungkook and pulled him to stand up," I'm sorry, I'm really fucking sorry and I hate myself for making you this miserable"

"Taehyung-", Jungkook whispered. He was cut off by Taehyung cupping one of his cheeks, grabbing his waist, pulling him close, and kissing him gently. It was a slow, soft, meaningful kiss that conveyed every emotion. Kissing the other felt like being home and finally getting comfort after being away for weeks.

The kiss was perfect.

Taehyung was terrified he made the wrong choice, when Jungkook kissed him back, a little deeper even. Taehyung wasn't pulling away.

And Jungkook wasn't stopping it yet either.
