Alexander's POV

"Where's Joseph?"

Dylan asks curiously when we had walked into the building and up to our friends. Minus Joey. They all avoid our gaze for a few seconds before Anthony finally decided to open his mouth and speak.

"We don't exactly know. When he walked into the school, he rushed right past us."

He answers lowly, slipping both his hands into his pocket while the girls looked anywhere but our faces. I bite down hard on the inside of my cheek and attempt to contain the somber fury surging throughout me. It was hard to believe that Joey actually started ignoring us because of what happened yesterday, but he was in fact disregarding our presence. Dylan voices out a vanquished "oh" and silently looks down at his feet.

"Well who cares,"

I say with a grin, all of them looking up at me as I sling an arm around Dylan's shoulder.

"If he wants to leave, then let him."

Anthony nods his head in agreement and gives a tight smile, the rest of them nodding theirs afterwards. The warning bell rings before any of us had the chance to say anything else, Dylan and I parting ways with our friends. My arm was still resting on his shoulders and I could feel him sigh.

"What's the matter?"

"Nothing"

He tries to reassure, keeping quiet prior to his reply as we made it to Mr.Gibbs' class. I remove my arm and follow Dylan into the room, taking a seat next to him right in back of the class-deciding to ignore my uneasiness regarding his response. A smile tugs at his lips when I wrap an arm around his neck and pull him close, nothing our classmates weren't used to by now. But of course they took it just as a friendly love, having no idea that it was way more than that.

"I love you."

I whisper into his ear, grinning just as Dylan was. He was incomparable to other people in my eyes and I wouldn't prefer anybody other than him.

"So, who takes it up the ass?"

Maya questions us casually, innocently placing her chin in the palm of her hands while her elbows rested on the lunch table. Dylan chokes on his gum at her query which causes Anthony, who wasn't previously listening, to quickly look up from his phone in concern. Claire giggles and stares at the two of us, clearly engrossed in this topic since her eyes were practically glistening with curiosity and excitement.

"C'mon c'mon I wanna know."

Maya presses eagerly, slightly jumping up and down in her seat.

"Know what?" Tony asks, now intrigued. I just rest a hand on my cheek and stay quiet while they conversed.

"Nothi-"

"Who takes it up the ass."

Claire answers, cutting off Dylan's chance to lie. Our blonde haired friend laughs and shakes his head, looking back down at his phone after suggesting the girls to leave us alone. Of course, Maya and Claire did the complete opposite.

"Tell us."

"Yeah Dylan, tell them who takes it up the ass."

I smirk teasingly, his face turning a light shade of crimson red as he hits my stomach. The pair gasps simultaneously while I groan from the impact of my boyfriend's hit.

"I knew it, I knew it! Dylan's to little of a bitch to be a Dom."

The brunette states proudly, causing Claire to burst into a spasm of giggles. I stifle a laugh when Anthony snorts, indicating he had been listening to our conversation. Dylan glares at all of us before hiding his heated face in both his hands. I purse my lips together to refrain from laughing as I pull him into a comforting hug.

"It's okay baby, don't listen to them."

"You guys are assholes."

He mumbles just before we felt a presence behind us. I turn around to find Aaron looking at me with a beaming smile.

"Oh hey, wassup dude. How you doing?"

I greet, standing up from my seat so we could do a little bro handshake. Aaron was the person Dylan and I had to share rooms with during the trip to Tennessee for the championship. He's also the only other person who knows about us, aside from our friends.

"Pretty good, what about you two?"

I sit back down and motion for him to take a seat across from me before answering. Tony, Claire, and Maya were looking at us strangely, due to the fact that they had no idea who Aaron was and why I had just invited him to sit down.

"We're doing okay. Dylan's still as jealous as always."

I chuckle, referring to the time when he was skeptical about the blonde haired boy being around me. Dylan looks up from his hands at my statement and gives me 'a look'. A look that said 'don't make me bring up what happened yesterday'. Well, I guess I can get a tad bit jealous. Just a tad.

"Wait, he knows about you two? Since when?"

Claire asks offendedly, crossing her arms and narrowing her eyes at us. Aaron looks around awkwardly and stands up, patting Dylan and I's shoulders.

"That's my cue to leave. Good talking to you guys."

He says before walking away from our table. I turn to the three faces that were currently looking for an explanation from us, rolling my eyes with a sigh.

"Come on guys. He had found out just as you guys did. We didn't exactly want to tell anybody yet but you guys and Aaron, the one who just walked off, ended up finding out. He's a good friend."

I shrug, purposely leaving out the him being gay part since he asked me not to tell anyone. Dylan nods his head in agreement and they mumble out 'fine', going back to doing what they were doing before. Maya was having a conversation with Claire while Anthony was on his phone once again. I suddenly have the urge to be touching Dylan, any part of him, so I lace his fingers with mine under the table.

Much better.

He glances at me and fails to suppress his grin in to which I smile at, letting it fade as I feel someone staring at me. Out of curiosity, I look around the cafeteria and find Joseph peering over at us from the table he was sitting at. To my surprise, he was seated at the table with Brad and most of the football players-something that totally wasn't him. Joey quickly looks away when I catch him in the act and I furrow my brows, wondering why the fuck he was looking over here for.

"What's the matter?" Dylan asks me, looking around the lunch room just as I had.

"It's nothing babe."

But was it really?

~*~

"Fuck I'm tired."

I let out a yawn, setting my backpack down in a corner of the room and stripping down to my underwear. Dylan doesn't make an attempt to take his clothes off and lays down as I grab a pair of shorts, slipping them on before joining him on my bed.

"Take your clothes off. I have some joggers if you need them."

He lazily slips his clothing off and tosses the joggers I give him on to the floor, instead, climbing back onto my bed in just his boxers and sliding under the covers. I took notice of his glum expression and the frown currently tugging at his lips.

"Awe, what's wrong?"

He doesn't answer but scoots closer to me and clasps his hand in mine, my free fingers reaching up to run themselves through his hair.  The rustling of the sheets halt as he stops moving on the bed and I silently wait for him to speak.

"I wish my parents weren't so stubborn."

Dylan says with a heavy sigh before pushing himself to me as close as he could before continuing.

"And the situation with Joey makes it worse."

"Don't worry, things will work out. I promise."

Promise is a strong word, yes, I'm fully aware of that. But I think that I'll be able to keep this promise. As they say, love always triumphs in the end.
