Dylan's POV

"Biiiiitch get the fuck uppp. Bitch, get the fuck uppp."

I sing loudly into Alex's ear, using the tune of the Star Wars theme song as my pitch got higher and higher after each word. He only groans and turns around in discontentment.

"Alex get the fuck up. We have school today, incase you forgot."

I remind with crossed arms, tapping my foot on the wooden floor.

"Five more minutes."

He pleads, groaning tiredly while clasping a pillow between his strong arms. Um I meant- oh forget it.

"No Alex, we only have about an hour to get ready and be at school."

What I said went through one ear and out the other as he continued to doze off and wake up again. I let out a loud frustrated moan and attempt to drag him off the bed by gripping his wrist and pulling. Key word, attempt. He quickly switches our roles and gasps my wrist, yanking me down onto the bed in one swift movement. I grunt in surprise at the action causing Alex to laugh.

"You're comfy."

He affirms unexpectedly making me smile cheekily, even though my stomach was currently being squished by his upper half.

"So I've been told."

I agree with a smug grin, laughing as he snorted and rolled his eyes.

"Somebody's feeling cocky."

"Maybe"

He waves his hand dismissively before getting up and walking into the bathroom. Probably to brush his teeth and stuff. I hop up from the bed, trudging towards his closet and grabbing a simple outfit. 'He won't mind' I think to myself, walking into the main bathroom upstairs that's located a single door down from Nicholas' and DDs' room.

I turn the water in the shower on, removing my clothes and stepping in. Gradually, I begin to wash my body of all the dirtiness that can accumulate over a couple days. A knock on the door unwillingly brings me out of my precious thoughts, following the sound of Alex's loud voice.

"Dylan!"

He yells ear-piercingly over the noisy water clashing against the shower floor.

"What?"

I shout back, straining my ears to hear what he had knocked on the door for.

"I left my [incoherent] in there!"

"What?!"

He repeats his statement again but I still fail to hear what he was talking about. Instead of answering back I turn the water off and exit the shower, leisurely wrapping a towel around my waist. I twist the door knob, opening it with a sigh and coming face to face with my best friend.

"What Alex? What's so important that you had to interrupt my relaxing morning shower?"

I question, annoyance laced in my still slightly groggy morning voice.

"My toothbrush is in there."

He replies quickly. I resentfully let him in with crossed arms, shutting the door right after he left. Today's gonna be a long day, I can feel it.

"So guys, how's yalls twos days goin'."

Maya questions Alex and I smiling, her improper grammar infuriating my nerves. Before we get a chance to answer, I see Rachel walk in. Her wide smile making me scowl to myself. How is it that one person is that annoying, and why the hell is he still dating her?

"Look who's here."

Claire points out to Alex with a smirk, looking directly at Rachel as she walked over here. We all make no attempt to move nor help Alex, seeming it was now the time for him to face his problems instead of running away like a little bitch. He was going to break up with her today even if I had to do it myself.

It's just because she's annoying. That's all.

Alexander's POV

Anthony, Claire , Maya, Joey and Dylan just sit silently and say nothing with sly smirks on their face as Rachel reaches the table. With a huge smile of course. Those jerks.

"Hey babe!!"

She coos before forcefully sliding Dylan over and setting herself down next to me. He glares at Rachel and slowly lifts his hand up. I immediately mouth for him to 'calm the fuck down', resulting in his arm returning back to his side.

"Hi Rachel."

I say with an inauthentic smile that she mistakes for a genuine one. Before Rachel gets to speak, she's caught off by Claire sighing obnoxiously loud.

"Is there a problem Claire?"

Rachel questions with a smug smirk, wrapping an arm around my broad shoulders. I could tell that that pissed Claire off. That's something she absolutely does not mix well with. Girls who piss her off on purpose.

"You didn't answer. I said is there a-"

"Actually there is."

She responds promptly, cutting her off.

"First off, Alex doesn't like you. You're a big stupid, annoying fucker who acts 'nice' but is actually a crazy little bitch at heart. How do you not get the hints that he gives. We. Do. Not. Like. You. You're not welcome here. So do all of us a favor and leave. Alex does not and never will want you."

She finishes with a glare, now completely out of breath.

"All he needs is Dylan."

Maya jokingly chimes in quietly. I roll my eyes at her comment.

"Yeah"

My best friend agrees. Rachel looked at us all, shocked and utterly speechless. Well more specifically, me. Her eyes water which causes me to immediately regret what just happened while their faces showed no remorse at all. I go to explain but I'm cut off by her small hand connecting with the side of my face. The sting only lasted for a few seconds before fading as though it was never there. Rachel gets up and strides away before my friends got the chance to tell her off for slapping me.

"You're just gonna let her do that?"

Joey asked, shocked.

"Eh, I probably deserved it anyway. Shouldn't have let this go on for so long."

I respond with a slight shrug. Maya scoffs and crosses her arms.

"She fucking had it coming to her. Fake bitch."

"Hey hey now, that's not necessary."

Anthony directs towards Maya. She only rolls her eyes in response, taking a sip of her water. I begin picking at my lunch food, sighing remorsefully. Not per say because I hurt her feelings but because, since when the fuck do I actually care about someone's feelings?! What's happening to me?

"Look on the bright side dude. Now you can go back to hoeing around."

Dylan sympathizes jokingly, wrapping an arm around my shoulders. I instantly shrug them off and continue to pick at my food.

"What crawled up his ass?"

Joseph whispers to Dylan, cautious of not being overheard.

"First off, nothing crawled into my ass so shut the fuck up."

"Nothing except this dic-"

Maya slaps Dylan's arm with a thunderous laugh at his comment, the others soon joining in after.

"Pfft. I fucking love you dude."

Claire praises, referring to his idiotic statement. I give them all an angry stare before getting up and walking off.

"Where are you going?"

Maya questions curiously, the others murmuring in agreement.

"Away"

Is all I say before walking out the cafeteria doors, my footsteps echoing throughout the wide and mostly empty hallway. It took only a few minutes before I made it to the spot at school where Dylan and I would always use to meet in when we first came here. When we were freshmen there was never a day when we wouldn't come here and meet up to chill.

I had found it when I had got lost going to class one day (When I was a lower class man). Back then we would sit and talk about things. Like how annoying the teachers and seniors were. They act as though they were never in ninth grade once. Now, I've done a lot of things in high school but picking on younger kids was not one. No matter how much of a jock I may seem.

But now, we pretty much never come here anymore. The last time either of us were here, together, was probably about seven months ago. Seems like a pretty long time to me. I was partly hoping that he'd remember this place and come here to make sure I was okay. But to be honest I didn't even know what was wrong. Guess it's just one of those days. Thirty minutes past and I continue to wait for him.

But he never came.

Dylan's POV

"Well do you know where the hell he is? He has missed more than an hour and a half of school."

Anthony says in a raised voice.

"Well there is one more place I could check but if he's not there that means he left. I've tried to call him multiple times but they all go to voicemail."

I inform him, shaking my head disappointedly. He sighs before giving a quick 'okay' and walking off towards class. Now, time to find Alex. I take the route to our 'secret hideout' as fast as possible. At least I think it's this way. Who knows the last time I've been there. Disregarding that thought, I continue to make my way towards our little hide out in hope to find Alex there.

"One last. . .turn."

I walk into the small area and, sadly, come face to face with an empty spot. Dammit. He's not here. I take a seat on the small wooden bench that Alex and I used to share all our secrets on, sighing daintily as I recall some of them. Like the day he told me he had punched this kid named Bryan in the face while walking home because the dude was being a dumb prick and beating up a little kid.

I smile slightly at the memory. We just haven't seemed to be the same lately and I can't tell if I'm mad. Or not. My thoughts are soon interrupted by the feeling of a presence beside me. I grin widely with my eyes still closed, knowing exactly who it was.

"What's got you so happy?"

He questions leisurely, making my eyes open slowly. He was rubbing his wet hands on his pants indicating he'd just came from the bathroom. I shrug and smile cheekily at his query, letting the airy breeze blow past my face. This place was really something close to my heart and I'm glum that we let it fade away so easily as we got older.

"Nothing. Just thinking about all the memories we've made here."

"I'm surprised you remembered this place."

He responds truthfully, resting an arm behind me on the bench. I chuckle at his miniature insult.

"Not gonna lie, almost forgot my way here."

Alex smiles at my honest statement and shakes his head with a soft chuckle. Our laughter dies down, turning into a short sigh as it fades. We sit in silence for a long while, looking out at the world through the second floors' balcony, I guess you can call it.

"Oh come'r you."

I sling an arm around Alex's shoulders and bring him down, rubbing my knuckles through his hair.

"Hey! You're messing my hair up! Stop it!"

He whines half heartedly and I release my hold on him, instead resting my head on his shoulder. He gingerly wraps an arm around me and I laugh faintly.

"Two dudes sitting on a bench zero feet away because they're gay."

I say jokingly.

"Dylan shut up. No we're not."

"I know, it was a joke. Of course we're not."

Definitely,

Not?
