• At some certain parts of each Chapter, there will be scenes where you'd need to listen to background music while reading to match/get into the mood of the current situation.

• It isn't necessarily needed, but it's recommended for I believe that music strengthens our imagination. So if you have the time/it is possible on your device, kindly play the song while reading. I chose every song carefully so it matches the mood I want to represent and show. I will admit that I'm quite horrible at writing emotions, so I rely on music to speak the words I cannot comprehend.

• “Y/n” is portrayed and seen as a “horrible lady” by others, so don't expect her to be the generally nice Y/n you get to read in other fanfictions. I'm sorry if her personality doesn't suit your taste, or you may get irritated by her at certain times, but please don't criticize me for writing her this way. I'm trying to maintain and follow what I had originally planned for her character to be for this fanfic, “A lady who was poorly misunderstood, resulting to a horrible reputation and a personality that is unacceptable to society” type of saga.

• The same goes for Scaramouche, please do not criticize me for not writing him “correctly” or making him ooc. His personality revolves around my Headcanons for him, so he may come off as someone persistent and darkly humoured. But despite his currently rude demeanor, he is a blunt and carefree person, also quite a bit of a tease. Of course, this will change by the time his real personality has been revealed, but if the readers still like it by then, it will stay that way.

• I have noticed that in a lot of fanfictions that the readers are sometimes taller than the Character they are being paired up with. So in this book, I have decided that whatever height you may be, short or not, Scaramouche is still taller than you. This idea has already been used by the author of “Lay your head on me”, (another Scaramouche × reader fanfic) so credits go to them solely because they said it first.

• I am still a student and I have a life just like everybody else, therefore I am busy with maintaining a decent grade and taking care of personal matters behind the screen. Updates would be quite slow, so please be patient with me. I'll try to make each chapter long so it would be worth the wait, and I'll try to make it as interesting as possible.

• I don't allow criticism, whether it's constructive or not. I just can't handle it, I'm sorry.

• Please don't judge my writing style. I'm not very fluent in English, and it's not my first language. So expect a few or more grammatical errors throughout the book. Don't be afraid to point it out though, I want to patch up my mistakes as soon as possible!
