"CAMPBELL, WILL YOU COME shopping with us?" Madison asked me Saturday morning at 10:00 in the morning.

I know that's not early, but I didn't plan on getting up until later.

We were in my room, and they were trying to drag me out of my warm cozy bed.

"No," I groaned as I turned over.

"Please. We have got to find some bathing suits. It's about to be March after all," Madison said.

I cracked my eye open,"It's not even February yet."

"Exactly, we are behind schedule," Madison replied, clapping her hands.

I was silent for a moment before saying,"Fine."

She cheered as I got out of my bed.

"I'll be downstairs with the other girls," Madison said before leaving the room.

I groaned as I walked into my bathroom. I did my business before brushing my teeth. Then I walked into my closet, and I grabbed a pastel pink sweater, a regular blue jean jacket, and a pair of black skinny jeans.

I changed into the outfit, and I brushed my hair. I left my hair down since I didn't feel like doing anything with it today. I sprayed perfume on my clothes, and I applied some mascara to my eye lashes.

I walked out of my bathroom, and I put my brown Uggs on my feet. I grabbed my phone before leaving my room.

Walking downstairs I heard the girls talking about some celebrity. I walked into the living room, and the girls stopped talking.

"Great. Let's go shopping!" Madison exclaimed, jumping up from the couch.

"Are the boys coming?" Nichole asked, playing with her fingers.

"Yeah. They said they'll meet us there. They are all at the field practicing," Anna answered.

"Okay, then let's go," Madison said, opening the door.

I made sure Lisa knew where I was going before following the girls outside to Anna's car. We all piled into the car, and Anna drove away from my house.

"Love me like you do!" Hailey sung along with the radio.

We smiled before joining Hailey. By the time we got to the mall, all of our throats were hurting from singing so much.

We got out of the car, and we walked inside of the mall along with everybody else.

"Rue21 first!" Madison exclaimed before dragging us with her.

We walked into the store, and I touched a dark blue bathing suit. The fabric was nice, but it looks too simple.

I continued to look around the store while the girls went into fitting rooms trying on multiple bathing suits. I grabbed a white one piece bathing suit off of the rack, and I put it against myself.

It was cute, and it has a smooth texture. I went into a fitting room, and I changed into the bathing suit. I looked at myself in the mirror, and to be honest I looked pretty in it. It showed all of my curves.

I took off the bathing suit before changing back into my clothes. I walked out of the fitting room with the bathing suit when I bumped into Brent.

"Hey, I been looking around the store for you," Brent said after he kissed me on the cheek.

"I was trying on a bathing suit. Where's the guys?" I asked him, looking around the store.

"Outside. Drooling over the food court," Brent answered, making me laugh.

"How was practice?" I asked him as he wrapped an arm around my shoulders.

"It was good. We didn't do much."

I nodded as we walked over to the register. I placed the bathing suit on the counter for the lady.

"Is this all?" The lady asked as she rang my bathing suit.

I nodded,"Yes ma'am."

"That will be $21.73," the lady replied, handing me the bag.

I handed her the money, and I grabbed the bag from her. She handed back my receipt and my change. Brent and I walked outside to see Madison showing Gavin her bathing suits.

"Why don't we get some food before we shop any further?" Nick suggested, holding Nichole's bag.

"You guys haven't even shopped," Hailey argued.

"But we haven't ate either so food is first," Gaberial replied beside her.

"Boys, boys, boys," Nichole mumbled, making me smile.

We walked over to the food court. Brent and I were holding hands as we made our way over to Chick-fil-a.

"What do you want, princess?" Brent asked when we got close to the counter.

"A chicken sandwich meal with a coke," I replied, looking at the menu.

He nodded, and we stepped up to the counter.

"Let me get a chicken salad with a sprite. Then my princess over here wants a chicken sandwich meal with a coke, please," Brent said, making me blush.

The guy nodded as he punched in stuff in the computer. He told us the total, and Brent paid for the food.

"It'll be out soon," the guy replied before taking another customer's order.

Brent and I walked over to the wall, waiting for our food.

"You're cheeks are still red," Brent whispered, making me look up at him.

"No, they are not," I said, and he chuckled.

"I didn't mean to embarrass you."

"You didn't. You just surprised me," I replied before the guy signaled us over to get our food.

After we got our food, we walked over to the huge table where the group was sitting. I sat down beside Gavin, and Brent sat beside me.

I started to eat my chicken sandwich when my phone started to ring. The number was unknown.

"I'll be right back," I told Brent who was eating his salad.

He nodded, and I walked away from the table before pressing the green button. I placed the phone to my ear.

"Hello?" I asked.

"Hello, Campbell," a familiar voice said.

My heart stopped beating, and I held my breath. This can't be real. Please just let this be a bad dream.

"M-Malcom?" I stuttered.

"Bingo," he replied.

No. No. No. This can't be happening.

"W-What do you want?" I asked him.

"Revenge duh. You ruined my life, Campbell, and now I'm going to ruin yours," Malcom answered, darkly.

"You can't do anything, Malcolm. If you leave California, you'll get arrested," I told him, remembering what Rachel told me.

"Oh yes I can. I have been watching you, Campbell. By the way, did you like my birthday gift?"

What was he talking about?

Then it dawned on me. The white roses. He sent the roses which explains the message.

"You sent the roses?"

"Of course I did. To be honest, you're not as smart as I thought you were. I thought you would figure it out especially with the text messages."

"I'm not scared of you, Malcom. There is nothing you can do," I lied.

"You should be. Also nice dog. Husky, right? She's beautiful," Malcom said, making me confused.

"How do you know that?"

"Tsk. Tsk. Tsk. You really are dumb. I guess I'll let the cat out of the bag. I'm in Midville, Campbell. I know where you live, where you go to school, hell, I know everything. I was the person in the woods that day you were walking that dog. I was going to make my move, but those stupid boys got in the way."

"Don't talk about them," I said, angrily.

He can taunt me all he wants, but he is not going to mess with my family.

"Defensive are we. I have to go, but I'll see you soon, Campbell. Nice bathing suit," Malcom said before hanging up the phone.

OMG! He's here. He's in the mall.

I ran over to the table where everybody was talking about some tv show.

"Guys, we have to go," I said, quickly.

"Why? What's wrong, Cam?" Elliot asked as I grabbed my bag.

They all looked at me with cornered looks on their faces.

"Malcom is here. H-He's here in the mall. He found me," I said as tears built up in my eyes.

They gasped before getting up. Brent wrapped an arm around my waist, protectively.

"I'll call Mom. Brent get here out of here," Nick said, throwing away his food.

"We'll be right behind you guys," Anna told me.

I was shaking slightly as Brent led me outside to his car. He made sure I was safe in the car before walking around the car. He got in the car, quickly, and he started the engine.

We left the mall, and we headed to my house. A stray tear rolled down my cheek, and Brent noticed.

"Princess, don't cry. Everything is going to be fine. The cops will find Malcom and put him behind bars," Brent said, holding my hand.

"I know, but he knows about everything, Brent. He was behind everything," I said as a few more tears escaped my eyes.

"What do you mean?" Brent asked me.

"He sent the roses. Then the other day I received weird text messages, but i ignored them. That was him. Then in the woods when I took Winter for a walk, he was there watching me," I explained.

"Campbell, I promise you that he is not going to lay one finger on you," Brent promised me.

The car ride was silent until we got to the house. Brent and I quickly got out of the car where Lisa and Ross ran over to me. The hugged me, and thanking god that I was safe. They did the same thing with the boys when they got home.

We walked inside where I saw two detectives sitting on the couching, drinking tea.

"Campbell West?" One of the detectives asked when I walked in.

"That's me," I replied.

"We need to ask you some questions," the other one said.

I nodded, and I looked over at everybody.

"We'll be right beside you the whole time," Lisa said, making everybody nod in agreement.

I sat down on the couch, and the detectives started firing questions at me.

I answered all of the questions without hesitation. After twenty questions later, the detectives stood up.

"Thank you for your time. We'll do the best we can to get Malcom. We will have a cop sitting outside every night. We keep you guys updated," the detective said.

"Thank you, detectives," Ross said, shaking their heads.

"Anytime," the other replied.

They left the house, and Lisa cleared her throat.

"Girls, y'all should head home. You're parents are probably getting worried," Lisa said, making the girls nod.

They hugged me, and kissed their boyfriends before leaving.

"I probably should get going, too," Brent said, giving me a wink.

I scrunched my eyebrows together before he kissed me. Then he got close to my ear.

"I'll be back tonight. Keep your window unlocked," Brent whispered, making me nod.

"I love you, Brent," I said.

"Love you too, princess," Brent said before waving bye to everybody. He walked out of the house, and I heard his engine.

"What are we going to do?" Micheal asked, fiddling with his fingers.

"Campbell, you will be continuing school but from home. Boys, y'all will still go to school like normal, but I want y'all home as soon as you can. Nobody will be leaving this house unless it's to school or work. Are we clear?" Ross said.

We nodded, and Winter walked into the living room. She laid her head in my lap, trying to get my attention.

I scratched her head, and she smiled.

"Don't worry, Cam. The cops will get this guy," Nick said, squeezing my shoulder.

I nodded,"Yeah."

They gave me a sad smile before leaving me in the living room. I walked upstairs to my room. I turned the light on, and I felt scared to be in my own room.

I shut my curtains together, and I walked into the bathroom. I decided to take a shower to calm my nerves. I let the water run over me, and I let my tears fall.

I couldn't believe my worst nightmare came true.

I stayed in the shower until the water turned ice cold. I turned the water off, and I wrapped my body in a towel.

I changed into sweatpants and a white tank top. I dried my hair before putting it in a messy bun.

For the rest of the day, I stayed in bed, watching Vampire Diaries. Brent and the girls texted me making sure I'm okay.

Even the boys came in my room to make sure I was still here.

I was in the middle of an episode when somebody threw a pebble at my window. I got off of my bed, and I looked down to see Brent.

I opened my window, and he smiled. He then climbed up the tree right beside my window, and he climbed in my room.

"Why are you here?" I asked him as he shut my window.

"I figured you didn't want to be alone. Vanessa is at a friend's house, and Xavier is at the house playing video games," Brent said, sitting on my bed.

"He's not out partying? It's Saturday," I asked, sitting again sit my pillows.

"That is what I said too. He's trying to make a change. I guess he finally realized that he's not a teenager anymore," Brent replied.

"You don't have to stay if you don't want to," I told Brent.

He enlaced his hands with mine before saying,"Campbell, I want to be here with you. You shouldn't be alone right now. I can't even imagine how you're feeling right now."

"The boys, Lisa, and Ross have been checking on me repeatedly all afternoon. I told them that I was okay, but that's a lie," I said, biting my lip.

"We're all here for you, princess. Don't ever forget that," Brent said, and I nodded.

He kissed my hands, making me smile. He climbed beside me, and I resumed the tv. He wrapped his arm around my waist as my back was against his chest.

I wanted this, right here, to last forever. I didn't want to face reality. I don't want to be scared.

Even if things go downhill, I know that I have a family behind me. And that's all I have ever asked for.
