Sasha was standing before me and for once the voices took my side.

Get rid of her.

Slice her open.

Make Daddy proud.

They were so very loud. The only thing that blocked them out was screaming. Sasha kept trying to calm me down but nobody but Daddy could soothe me now. "Get out! Get out! Get out!" I yelled. I can't believe I missed her. I can't believe she's trying to take me from my daddy.

We both freeze upon hearing the front door slam. "Oh thank God, they're here," Sasha exclaims, giving me one last look before walking towards the hallway. "Down here," she called out. She is only out the room for a mere second when I hear her gasp and slowly back into the room. Jimmy walks in with Daddy closely behind, a gun pointed at his head. Why was Jimmy here?

"There's no point," Sashes said in a pseudo confident voice. Her whole body was shaking, "the police are already on their way."

"You think you can take away my little girl?" A smile I had never seen before spread across Daddy's face. I crawled towards him, hugging his leg. "Can't you see?" He gestured towards me, "she wants to be with me."

Sasha looked down at me sadly. "Hailey, you know this isn't right. This man is hurting you." I only cling tighter to Daddy's leg. Out of the corner of my eye, I realize Jimmy slowly inching towards Daddy as his attention is on Sasha. Decisions swarm around me. The voices have divided as one half tells me to warn Daddy and the other half tells me to save my former friends.

Sasha makes the mistake of glancing at Jimmy, causing Daddy to follow her gaze. As Jimmy rushes towards him trying to disarm him I watch Daddy raise the gun.

Sasha and I screamed simultaneously as the red splattered the pink walls. I watched in horror as Daddy proceeded to aim his gun at Sasha.

She's your best friend.

You're going to let her die.

Just like Jimmy.

Just like you.

"Daddy," I tugged on his pants, "let's get away before the police get here...there might still be time." Daddy's expression softened as I looked up at him with puppy eyes. "Please, Daddy...don't kill her. I know she is trying to take me from you but I won't go. Never, Daddy." He doesn't respond, his gun is still aimed at Sasha as his eyes dart between the two of us.

I slowly pull myself to my feet, "I will do anything for you, Daddy...if you just do this for me." I know I was supposed to obey Daddy. If getting rid of Sasha was his intention, he was going to and I had no choice but to accept his decision. But still I had to try.

I tugged on his shirt "Let's go," I begged and placed my hands on the arm holding the gun. His eyes glared down at my hands but he didn't seem to know how to react. "I want to play another game with you, Daddy," I whispered as I slowly inched my hands towards his. He let me as if in a trance.

"Oh Hailey Baby," his eyes bore into mine. I continued trying, hoping he wouldn't snap out of whatever was happening to him. "We don't have time to deal with this interfering bitch. Let's get out of here."

I smiled up at him, my hands now on the gun as I lean up to kiss him, for the first time, on the lips. As our lips are connected I gently remove the gun from his hands. He lets me as if he doesn't even notice my actions. Once our lips part, I offer a small smile.

"I love you, Daddy." And I mean it. I love him more than anything. Nothing and nobody will ever separate the two of us.

"I love--"

His words are silenced by the sound of the gun.
