•Novas pov•
" Nova" I hear my mom calling me so I put my book down and start walking to where ever she is " Ma" I call out then I smell her amazing cooking so I know she is in the kitchen .

I make it to the kitchen and see my mom in her happy place " Hi mom" I kiss her cheek " hi my love" she kisses my cheek then goes back to cooking. " what can I do for you " I sit on the barstools that are located right in-front of the kitchen island.

" Oh right I wanted to ask about that boy " my cheeks feel warm " what boy" she looks up and points her wooden spoon at me " you know what boy" I blush then hide my face " Luca?" She smiles " yes him , invite him over" my eyes widen " what do you mean " .

" Nova what do you mean 'what do I mean' invite the boy over " I laugh nervously " mom I don't know I mean dad hasn't even met him and I don't want to scare him off" I panic but of course mom had to wave me off .

" Oh and tell your father to come here" mom shouts I reply with an okay then walk upstairs and knock on the office door " come in" I peek my head through the door " mom said she wants you" he nods .

I shut the door then walk into my room , I shut the door quickly and walk straight to my desk that is in front  of my window that lets the sunlight shine through. I pick up my phone , open the messages and start to text Luca.

Me-are you busy?

Luca-no just playing basketball with Zamire and Emillo why?

Me-well my mom invited you over for dinner but it's okay if you don't want to come I can tell her you got sick or something .

Luca-no no I will be there what time

Me- come at 7:30

Luca-okay see you in two hours 💋

I smile then set my phone down then nerves hit me like a train what if my dad doesn't like him or what if Luke doesn't like my dad and they argue or what if ... I give up with the what if's.

I get out of my chair and walk to my dresser, I open the third drawer that holds my sweatshirt hum what do I wear . I tap my finger against my chin then spot it ! I look for some bottoms and found the perfect outfit.

I chose a white sweater and a black skirt , I put a pair of socks on but no shoes because I would loose my head if I ever wore shoes in my house . Trust me this one time one of my friends or my old one came into the house with shoes on my mom went crazy .

Let's just say I haven't heard from her in over two years .

I look at the clock and see that I have 1 hour and 15 minutes to kill so I sat down in my reading nook and started to finish the book I started before I went downstairs.

You get so lost into the fictional world that times flys by without any warning. Now it's 7:28 and my mom called me down to help set the table and she also told me she is having one of her friends over as well so this could get interesting.

" Mom do you think I- " I was interrupted by the doorbell " I got it " I shout then walk over to the door . I peek through the peeking hole and see Luca in a black shirt and a pair of black jeans the typical bad boy .

I shake my head and open the door " Luke " I smile but I'm pulled away by an arm " Luca" my mom hugs him " Mrs. Roslen nice to see you again " he beams a smile . " oh how rude Nova invite him in " I throw my hands in the air as my mom and Luca walk pass me .

" great " i huff out and shut the door , I walk back to the kitchen and see my mom and Luca having a conversation while setting the food on the table. I hear the doorbell again and decided to get it .

I check the peeking hole and see it's a older lady with a older man and a teenage boy . I open the door " Hello" I greet them " Hi sweetie I'm guessing your Maes daughter " i nod " oh how horrible of me come in " they walk in and take there shoes off .

I happen to notice Luke put his shoes on the shoe rack while guest out there's in the mat near the shoe rack . I smile at the little thing , I look up " Hello I'm Ron this is my wife Sasha and this young man is named Shane " . " nice to meet you the dining room is this way " I have them follow me , " I told her that but she doesn't listen to me " I hear my moms laugh along with Luca chuckle.

" mom your guest are here " i break them from there conversations " oh yeah hello Mae " mother runs over to her guest while I walk over to Luca . " Hunny the guest are here " my mother shouts and all I hear is my dad's footsteps on the stairs .

My father comes down in his suit and tie while my mom is in a yellow sun dress that look beautiful on her . My father kisses my mom then turns to me " hi sweetheart " my dad comes over to me and kisses my forehead. He looks to my right then back at me then to my right again " and who are you " my dad grunts out .

" Luca sir Luca Reg " Luca takes his hand out and my father looks skeptical but shakes it anyway . " Let's eat " mom say and we all take our seats .

I'm sitting next to Luca and Shane while my father sits at the head of the table with my mother to his right . Mr. Ron and Sasha are sitting across from me . " I hope everything tastes good" my mother says .

Everyone digs in " this is delicious Mae" Sasha compliment " oh thank you" mom gets compliments for everyone and we all start talking about school and random things .

Till my dad breaks " So Luca what are your plans after high school?" Luke nods and swallows " I plan on becoming a lawyer " I look at him surprised " really " he nods .

Dinner went smoothly ,moms friends left and now we are all sitting in the living room talking " excuse me Mr. Roslen may I talk to you in private " Luca asked my father . " sure" they both walk out of the room .

I look at mom but she just has a smirk on her face and that really ain't helping the situation. " mom " I groan and mover over to her " he is a sweet boy Nova " mom pulls me into her and just hugs me . " what is he doing " I pout but mom laughs .

" Nova just wait " I get out her hold and sit on the ground infront of the fire place . Soon I was so into through I didn't feel anyone join me till I felt a hand on my hand . I jump then look over to see it's just Luke " oh hi" I smile then look at the fire .

" I will pick you up at 7 tomorrow night" I might have whiplash from how fast I looked at him " what?" He smiles " I asked your father for permission to take you on a date " my stomach just did the swirly things .

"Wait really" he nods , I tackle him into a hug " I'm so excited " I say which causes him to chuckle " dress classy " he kisses my cheek .

I just noticed how silent it was so I look around and see that my parents are no longer here and it's just me and Luke . I look back at look and see him looking at me " Want to watch a movie " I suggest " Just not those sad romance one" he complains while standing up .

" now listen don't hate on my romance movies " I pull him upstairs and into my room . I leave the door cracked because I don't want my dad to rip Lucas head off .

Luca gets on the bed and pats a spot for me , I grab the remote then cuddle next to him . I decided we should watch twilight. I pull the cover over us and snuggle into his side .

I felt him leave a kiss on my forehead then wrap his arm around my waist bringing me closer to him .

•Mae Novas mom pov •
I got up from bed to grab a glass of water when I hear Novas tv , I walk to her room open her door and see her and Luke cuddled next to each other . I smile then turn the tv off , I leave a kiss on Novas forehead then walk out smiling.

Nova is just like me we always fall for the bad one and eventually the bad boys turn soft just like me and her father .
