"So are you going to tell me about what's going with you or not" Isla asked as they sat on her bed. Ray just got back ten minutes ago from getting some food for them both. She even got some for Isabella who thanked her.

"I wish you would just leave it alone" Ray sighed as she ate the wings. Isla looked over at her frowning her eyebrows.

"I just want to make sure you okay Ray" isla mumbled softly making Ray's eyes to flick to her. She sighed and put her food down before wiping her hands with a wet wipe.

"Come here baby" Ray said before leaning in wrapping her arm around her girlfriend who pouted and leaned into her. She felt Ray sigh against her as Isla laid between her legs with her head on Ray's shoulders.

"Listen my relationship with my Dad is very complicated" Ray started as she ran her hands through Isla's hair. She frowned softly as she stared off at the wall before sighing again.

"After my dad and brother left it was very hard. When he left, every year on my birthday I would to get a card from from basically telling me that he loves me and how much he wishes he could be with me. Then sometimes he would send postcards of where they been"

"I use to look forward to those cards and pictures until I turned seventeen when they just stopped coming suddenly. I use to ask my mom why my letters were coming and at one point my mom just got really angry with me and yelled at me to never talk about my father again."

"I was confused and angry so I started looking for my dad and eventually I found him here. A few weeks before I found out that he was here, my mom and I got into an argument where she yelled that he never wrote me those letters and sent those post cards instead she wrote them" Ray gritted her teeth and shook her head.

"Why did she do that" Isla asked as she frowned.

"I never really got a chance to hear her explanation about why she did it." Ray mumbled before looking down at Isla who was staring down at the bed with a hard look.

"You should at least try and hear her out Ray I mean I don't know yes it was wrong but she could have been coming a good place" Isla said looking over at Ray who shrugged her shoulders.

"I just left and booked a flight here to see my dad and talk to him" Ray mumbled and Isla sat up getting up from the bed.

"And why haven't you talked to him" Isla asked as she walked to her dresser taking her bracelet off.

"Because Isla what if he doesn't even want to see me"

"Ray you came all this way to see him I think he will at least want to just give you a hug and talk" Isla shrugged as she looked at her.

"And if he doesn't?" Ray said as she leaned against the headboard.

"If he doesn't then screw him Ray. You went eight years without him perfectly fine"

It was silent for a few minutes as Ray stared at the bed with thoughts running in and out of her mind. She sighed heavily and looked at Isla who sent her a small smile. Walking back over to Ray, Isla sat down in her lap and wrapped her arms around her, pulling her into her.

"I know you're scared but you can't leave here without at least seeing him. You will regret it and also you need to talk to your mom about her reasoning behind creating those letters for you" Isla mumbled softly and Ray nodded against her chest as she put her arms around Isla's small body.

"I know baby" Ray mumbled against her chest before sighing as she pulled away.

"Come on let's finish eating" Isla said and Ray smiled. Isla didn't move off Ray as she grabbed her food from the bag. Ray grabbed her wings and Isla slid down some so that she was straddling Ray's waist.

"This food bomb as fuck" Isla said as she ate a wing. Ray smiled and looked over at her before smirking.

"What?" Isla asked as she wiped her mouth. Ray shook her head and bit her lip as she gripped Isla's thigh.

"Nothing I just like this position and view" Ray said making Isla blush and shake her head. Ray gripped her exposed thigh harder and sat up some before kissing Isla's lips softly.

"You're cute" She mumbled against her lips before she laid back down. She propped herself up on her elbows before eating the rest of her wings.

"Trash" Isla said putting her trash into a plastic bag. Ray wiped hands and mouth with a wet wipe before throwing her trash in the bag. Isla tied the bag close.

"I'll be back I'm going to check on Bella" Isla said before standing up taking the trash bag with her as she walked out of her room. Isabella's door was already open and Isla walked inside to see Bella was on the phone with someone laughing.

"Oh I'll call you back my sister just walked in" Isabella said before hanging up. Isla smiled at her and walked to her bed sitting down on it.

"Who was that on the phone?" She asked curiosity and Isabella just smiled shrugging her shoulders. She yawned and pulled a blanket around her.

"A friend" Bella said making Isla smile and let it go.

"You want to do a movie night tonight?" Isla asked her making Bella smile and nod.

"Of course" Bella mumbled and Isla yawned running a hand through her hair. She stood up to leave but Bella stopped her.

"Wait can you take my trash with you" Bella said as she grabbed her bag of trash handling it to her sister. Isla took it and walked downstairs into the kitchen to her aunts kissing each other as Kaia sat on the kitchen counter while Dakota stood behind her legs.

"Ew ew ew" Isla said loudly as making the couple move away from each other as they laughed at Isla's reaction.

"We eat on there" Isla said pointing to the counter making Kaia raise her eyebrow.

"So you and little miss Ray never made out on this counter?" Kaia asked her as she held a knowing look. Isla blushed and threw the trash in the trash can before hurrying out of the kitchen as Kaia bursted out laughing.
