Ray stood in front of her father's house with a huge frown on her face. She didn't know if she could even move to walk up the porch steps to knock on the door.

"Ray come on you have to at least try and talk to him" Kenzel said as he leaned against the car with his arms crossed over his chest.

"You have to face him no matter how scared you are" he said and Ray kissed her teeth tearing her eyes away from her father's house and to her brother's eyes.

"I just don't think he even wants to see me I mean he hasn't seen me since I was a kid what if-" Kenzel cut his sister off by waving his hand.

"You won't know that until you talk to him Ray" he said but Ray sighed and shook her head.

"Let him at explain his reasoning for leaving" Kenzel added making Ray grit her teeth.

"I'm not ready to hear what he has to say for leaving" Ray mumbled before getting into the car. Kenzel sighed and got into the car before looking over at Ray who was beyond angry at this point.

"Ray" Kenzel started but stopped himself as she shook her head not even wanting to hear it. He sighed and started the car before pulling out.

Kenzel rubbed the side of his head with his free hand as he drove. When he glanced over at Ray, she looked to be in deep thought.

"Take me to Isla crib" Ray said suddenly after a few minutes. Kenzel looked over at her and nodded his head, not saying a word. Ray grabbed her phone and texted Isla quickly as she frowned.

It didn't take Kenzel long to reach Isla's aunt's house. Ray was quick to get out the car but Kenzel hurried after her.

"Ray you can't keep running from him and everything that happened" Kenzel called out to her as she walked up the front porch steps. Ray stopped and turned toward her brother who was frowning at her.

"Shut the fuck up Kenzel you don't get it" Ray said harshly and Kenzel kissed his teeth.

"Oh shut up you aren't the only one with daddy issues. He took me and then hated raising me if you even want to call it raising me" Kenzel said rolling his eyes as he shook his head.

Ray shook her own head and turned back around to knock on Isla's door but Kenzel's voice stopped her again.

"You need to stop acting like you are the only one with problems Roman" Kenzel said glaring at his sister's back.

"Don't call me that" Ray yelled out to her brother as she turned to glare at him.

"Stop being such a pussy bitch" Kenzel yelled angrily as he threw his arms up in the air.

"Shut the fuck up Kenzel" Ray shouted. She opened her mouth to continue talking but she was cut off by the door opening catching Ray's attention.

"Ray?" Isabella said looking at Ray confused. Ray looked over at her and cleared her throat sending Isabella a small smile.

"Hey Izzie" Ray said and looked back over at her brother who was scoffing and getting back into his car.

"Does your brother want to come in" Isabella asked but Ray shook her head while Kenzel pulled off.

"Is Isla here?" Ray asked and Isabella nodded moving out the way to let her in. Ray thanked her and hurried up the brown wooded floors. She went into Isla's room to see a sleeping Isla laying on her bed snoring softly.

Ray smiled and walked quietly toward Isla's bed. She pulled her shoes off and took her jacket off, throwing it on the floor on top of her shoes. Isla shifted a little, in her sleep, to lay on her side and slightly covering her face with her hair. 

After Ray took her chains off and set them down, she laid down behind Isla and wrapped around Isla softly as she got comfortable. Isla turned around to face Ray before yawning and opening her eyes to look into Ray's hazel brown ones.

"Hi" Isla mumbled softly in her sleepy voice. Ray smiled and kissed her lips softly making Isla let out a small smile.

"Hey baby" she said as she rubbed Isla's exposed hip softly. Isla bit her lip and closed her eyes, yawning.

"When did you get here?" Isla asked and Ray ran her tongue over her bottom lip slowly and soft as she stared at Isla.

"Like ten minutes ago maybe" Ray mumbled softly and Isla nodded. She groaned some and shifted a little bit in her position before sighing softly.

"Go back to sleep baby" Ray said and Isla smiled nodding. She moved her head up some to kiss Ray's lips softly and then sighed as she pulled away.

"Good night" Isla mumbled and Ray smiled as she laid completely on her back. Isla moved over to lay her head on Ray's chest while Ray's fingers went through Isla's messy hair.

"Night baby" Ray said kissing Isla's forehead softly.
