After spending the entire night cuddling in his alpha's arms, Taehyung woke up feeling better than ever.

Jeongguk had not let him out of his hold the entire time, nose buried into his neck as he secured an arm around his waist.

His breath was tickling the omega's skin who tried moving away lightly only to draw a low growl from Jeongguk before his eyes were snapping open.

"It tickles," Taehyung whined softly before the alpha pressed a kiss to his mate mark.

He was just beginning to feel as a warm palm traveled up his thigh when a soft knock on the door was heard before Seokjin was walking in with the breakfast cart.

Jeongguk immediately ripped his hand away before a low snarl left this lips as he pulled down the omega's rising nightgown.

He knew Seokjin was no real threat but his alpha instincts were telling him to cover his omega's body from the prying eyes of any other male.

Seokjin politely excused himself after leaving the cart with a bow, making Taehyung smile at him in appreciation.

They ate breakfast quietly as usual, this time Taehyung shyly hand fed the alpha some grapes from the fruit tray.

He giggled nervously when Jeongguk pulled him closer by his hips, practically seating him on his lap.

The alpha continued to eat with an arm wrapped around the omega, palm flat onto his belly.

It wasn't until Taehyung was finishing the remaining food on his plate that he felt Jeongguk shift lightly. 

Almost immediately he was panicking, believing the alpha would leave him alone all day again to go to work.

"No!" He whimpered, turning around and hugging Jeongguk closer, practically straddling his lap.

He buried his face into his alpha's neck, pressing small kisses to his jaw as Jeongguk's hand fell to his hip.

It finally dawned to the alpha that his omega believed that he would leave him alone, making him patiently wait for Taehyung to calm down.

He let Taehyung scent him to his heart's desire, warm palm running up and down the omega's back slowly.

A soft whimper left Taehyung's lips when Jeongguk made a move to slowly pull him away.

"Sh," he murmured, pulling Taehyung's head back by the nape of his neck.

His eyes were glossy, cheeks flushed as he sniffled softly before Jeongguk pressed a kiss to his cheek.

"Look at me, why are you crying?" Jeongguk's voice was stern, making Taehyung shiver lightly before he was finally meeting his gaze.

His bottom lip quivered when Jeongguk wiped away a fallen tear with the pad of his thumb.

"Y-You're gonna leave m-me," Taehyung choked a sob, small frame shaking in Jeongguk's lap.

"I won't." 

Jeongguk's voice was final, making Taehyung nod slowly to try to convince himself that the latter was not lying.

"Okay," he sniffled as he rubbed his eye, suddenly feeling embarrassed that he had caused a scene that ended up with him in the alpha's lap.

"What is it that you want to do?" Jeongguk asked minutes later just as all of Taehyung's tears had been brushed away.

He had begun to play with a loose string on Jeongguk's shirt when the latter asked, eyes suddenly lightening up at his words.

"Could we go to the village?"

Turns out Taehyung refused to enter the carriage unless Jimin was allowed to come on their little trip as well.

Jeongguk had promised him they would spend the entire day doing whatever he wanted therefore that had been his request.

"This is quite exciting. I've only been to the village a handful of times." Jimin smiled at the omega sitting across from him in the carriage.

Jeongguk was sitting beside Taehyung, fingers laced together as Taehyung smiled back at Jimin.

"I cannot wait to show you around then." Taehyung spoke excitedly as his alpha glanced out the window.

The ride was no more than twenty minutes long, the familiar buzz of the daily flea market could be heard as people walked in front of the carriage to get through.

Taehyung sighed softly at the sight of his people; longing look on his face as Jeongguk stared down at him.

"Where do you want to go first?" Jeongguk asked, watching as Taehyung thought about it for a second.

"Could we go to the flower shop?" The omega asked kindly, feeling happy at the thought of seeing his hyung.

Jeongguk was quick to inform the person handling the carriage where to go next before sitting back down beside his omega.

The flower shop was only about three short minutes away from the center of the village, making Taehyung shake his leg anxiously when the carriage came to a complete stop in front of the shop.

The people passing by had long ago stopped and began to stare at the modern looking carriage with palace horses.

The whispers and gasps quickly followed when the carriage door was opened and Jeongguk stepped down before turning to help Taehyung get off.

The omega could feel his cheeks begin to flush at the attention and the crowd beginning to gather around them.

"That's the king!"

"And his omega has come along!"

"Is that... Prince Jimin?"

"Sweetie, you have to bow!"

Jeongguk had a tight grip around Taehyung's waist as they made their way inside the flower shop, watching as the people inside the store gasped at the sight of all three of them.

People automatically began to bow respectively before making a clear path for them to pass by.

"These are pretty," Jimin commented as he admired the white magnolia flowers.

Meanwhile Taehyung was actively scanning the shop in search for a familiar figure.

He was here, he could smell his scent.

"Hyung!" Taehyung cried at the sight of Yoongi making his way over to them, still unaware that it was the omega.

Jeongguk immediately tensed from beside him as Taehyung managed to slip out of his hold only to launch himself into Yoongi's arms.

The shorter male stumbled back lightly at the suddenly body crashing into him, arms immediately coming around Taehyung once he smelled his sweet scent.

A low growl fell from Jeongguk's lips at the sight but it was Jimin who placed a hand on his shoulder to calm him down.

"It's alright," he said lightly, helping the alpha control himself in public.

The last thing they wished to do was cause a scene.

The people inside the shop had quickly left and gathered outside to whisper amongst themselves.

"Taehyung," Yoongi said, surprise visible on his face as he lightly pulled the omega off.

Taehyung was smiling back at him, eyes moistening as he now realized how much he had missed the male.

Almost immediately Jeongguk was pulling him back by the arm, making Taehyung smile sheepishly at the fact that he had just abandoned Jeongguk.

Yoongi met Jeongguk's gaze as the alpha's jaw clenched, realizing that the male also happened to be an alpha.

Not only that, but the scent was the same as the one that clung to Taehyung the first day he arrived at the palace.

And judging by where they currently were, it would come to no surprise to know that he was the one who had given Taehyung that white rose.

Jimin had begun to pull Taehyung by the shoulder for fear that the other alpha would be stupid enough to try to challenge Jeongguk.

The tense silence remained until Yoongi finally bowed his head for the alpha king, making Taehyung step forward to introduce them.

"Alpha this is Yoongi hyung, one of my best friends." Taehyung tugged at Jeongguk's arm to get his attention before smiling sweetly at Yoongi.

"It's an honor to meet you, your majesty." Yoongi spoke lowly as he bowed his head lightly.

Jeongguk did not reply as Taehyung turned to Jimin, making the other omega step forward with a smile directed at Taehyung.

"And hyung, this is Jimin." Taehyung finished off as he watched Yoongi blink up at the other omega.

"It's a pleasure to meet you." Jimin spoke up from beside him, polite smile on his lips.

Yoongi bowed with a tint on his cheeks that Taehyung had certainly never seen before in his life, causing him to giggle softly.

"Hyung I'm so happy to see you again." Taehyung smiled sadly as Yoongi arranged a small bouquet for him.

Jeongguk had actually been the one to ask Taehyung to pick a few of his favorite flowers to put into an arrangement.

The omega had blushed furiously as he walked around the shop and told Yoongi which flowers he wanted.

It was a sweet gesture by his mate that would certainly not go unnoticed by the omega.

Once the bouquet was done Yoongi was handing it to Taehyung who grinned at him before thanking him.

"Thank you hyung," Taehyung sniffed a pink rose with a smile, clutching them tightly in his grasp.

"We should get going." Jeongguk mentioned quietly to Taehyung, hand on the small of his back.

"It was good to see you Taehyung," Yoongi nodded at Taehyung who smiled sadly at him.

Jeongguk had only begun to guide them out of the door before Jimin was being stopped by Yoongi who was currently trying to hand him something.

It was a white magnolia. Exactly like the one Jimin had admired on their way in.

"Oh- thank you," Jimin's face showed surprise before softening into a more relaxed expression.

Taehyung stood silently by Jeongguk with a huge smile on his lips, watching as Yoongi solemnly nodded.

He was purposely releasing pheromones, something he never usually did around neither Hoseok or Taehyung.

Jeongguk took the liberty of clearing his throat, making Yoongi and Jimin cut their awkward eye contact short.

Jimin ran a hand through his hair in an attractive way before giving Yoongi a brief smile.

Everything had been good up until they left the shop, walking around a few stands and picking up some things Jimin was interested in.

He had been so excited at the sight of loafers that he practically ran up to the stand.

Jeongguk huffed in annoyance at his cousin's antics before letting go of Taehyung's hand momentarily to catch up with him.

It was only a minute, possibly two but it was enough for others to see that Taehyung was standing alone.

Which was why someone took the liberty of pulling the omega back by his hips, the instant smell of alpha pheromones filling his nose.

Taehyung's stomach dropped at the realization that this was not Jeongguk.
